What a Revealation after ditching ENDLESS OS

To begin with the figure of  8 Viris appears only if I press the keys hard. If I touch the keys light with prompt press the backspace key I have now installed 12 Linux distributions in the old ACER Laptop.
All working fine and no Microsoft Windows. Applications run faster than with ENDLESS OS and I have added 2 SWAP partitions help the 4GB RAM and altogether 25 partitions making roughly 20 to 30GB for the /root partition. Two of the distributions are dedicated to cellphone utilities. With ENDLESS OS running, I was considerimg diychimg the Laptop to the dustbin. Not any more.
Debian Trixie and Forky are included im the distributions im addition to all the popular ARCH derivatives except Manjaro I HATE. It took a couple of days to get both NUC and the Laptop.
Laptop is the testing ground and then they go to the NUC.  It has 11 Linux Derivatives.
I make few mistakes due to small font size and my poor vision.
I have EFI partitiom to a EXT partition and GRUB fell back to an old edition not being able to boot the last distrition installed. My careful investigation revealed it.

Do we, the Mankind need a religion in the 21stcentury?

Do we, the Mankind need a religion in the 21stcentury?

320 GB SATA and 10 Operating Systems in One Place

Yes, it is true.
Beauty of Linu is there is a distribution that fits with the User needs unlike the Vendor locked Apple and Microsoft.
However ARCH and ARCH derivatives are winning the race.
I decided to use MXM or AV Linux Moksha on top of Bodhi since I cannot trust on the future of UBUNTU.
What I am interested is the Beautiful Moksha Desktop which is as beautiful as BlueStar Linux.
MXM brings a beautiful uplift MX Linux which is very UGLY.
Besides what I want is Multimedia Districtibution. It doesnot matter it is built on UGLY MX Linux.
I do  not like MX Linux since its Desktop is visually UGLY and has more utilities than I need for my daily activities.
However, Commodore Linux 3.1 MATE is based on MX Linux.
One time I loved AV Linux based on MX Linux

AV means Audio and Video and its 25.1 version stop supporting AV part radically so I gave up since like its predecessor MX Linux is very SLOW to adopt the new Kernel. AV Linux has adopted Moksha desktop from Bodhi Linux and it is named MXM MX Moksha.
I have MODICA and Commodore to multimedia content.
I am a New Kernel guy who uses Debian Testing or Forky.

I do not support Linux Mint since Cinnamon Desktop is bulky and has proprietary software. I do not like its TimeShift utility.
GNOME consunes about 600MB and Cinnamon 1200MB. I was a fan of it during 32 bit days before becoming bulky over time.

3KDE Dektops
1Enlightenment Desktop
1 Moksha Desktop which is a modified Enlightenment Desktop.
1MATE
5 GNOME Desktops

3 Game and Media Desktops

3 Kernels
At least 3.

Debian GNOME
Debian GNOME Removed the Debian and added Bodhi Linux which uses modified Enlightenment Desktop Moksha but I have added GNOME on top of it.
I hate both XFCE and KDE
Environment Desktop is special to me.
Reborn OS GNOME
Storm or Arch OS KDE
Cachy OS GNOME
BlueStar Linux KDE
Commodore Linux is MATE
ELive Enlightenment Desktop
Modicia GNOME
Ultimate Game Linux KDE

One night of toil to make my GRUB fully functional.

Two Years Patience Paid Dividends

Yes, I did wait 2 years to unblock the Vendor Lock that was in my Laptop. It now runs Debian  Forky, Commodore 3.1 and Linux Ultimate Gamer. Its hard disk of 500GB was locked by ENDLESS OS by XFS file system which I hate.
Thanks to www.Bios.Bug.com for sending me the Supervisor Password of 8 numbers. When I entered the unblock password that came out after entering 3 WRONG passeords at their visitor site in comes the Magic Number to open BIOS Menu.
I changed the BIOS order to boot from USB first, DVD Drive second and Hard Driver 3rd. I had done this many a times in old PC and NUC. I am not paranoid to block the BIOS of EFI Boot Menu.

My Debian Resolve is innovative

I may change this scheme a bit but basically overall approach is the same.

Instead of 2 instances of Debian one of Trixie and one of Forky, I have decided to have 3 instances of Debian.

Instsllation started at 12PM.
Finished at 13.22PM

1. DEBIAN Forky GNOME only.
It has /root /var, /home and /tmp.
/tmp is the most important.
I believe every time I reboot junk files are flushed away. No need for Sweeper or Bleach Beat.
It took 15 GB space.

SWAP 8GB shared by all distributions.
Forky has discontinued BlueFish.

1375 files and it takes 7GB of Disk Space.
The is the lightest.
It is even lighter than MX Linux Moksha.

2. Debian Forky
Started at 13.25PM.
Finished at 15.10PM.
DEBIAN GNOME and two cellphone utilites. I got AbiWord installed using GNOME.
1912 files and it takes GB hard disk space.
Only 8.8GB used.

3. DEBIAN Trixie Net Install ERASED.

4. DEBIAN Trixe FULL INSTALL
Reason have Blender installed.
Started at 17.20PM.
Finshed at 17.55PM.

I am going to add all the ARCH distributions I love until the 320GB Toshiba Hard Disk is full.
CachyOS is my favourite
BlueStar Linux
For the first time, I got GNOME under SDDM Plymouth Window Manager.
Added AbiWord and Audacity and Enlightenment Desktop and no space for Blender. I should have given bit more space but all working all right and no more fiddling. I love OCTOPI and its cleaner works fine.
Endeavour Linux failed but a stroke of luck it was installed with booting in my Laptop.
STORM installed but Installed GNOME on top of XFCE LightGDM.

AV Linux Moksha added on top of Trixie Net Install.
ARCH Ultimate Gamer, Italian Modicia and REBORN OS added.
Only 9 distributions earlier instead.
Toshiba has 320GB and 32GB is just enough for full install but I save space by giving smaller share to STORM OS and AV Linux and Net Install instance.
BlueStar Linux /root partition reduced from 42GB to 25GB and added AV Linux Moksha making it 10 again.
This is the First Time I have reduced the partition size of an already installed Distribution.

Altogether 20 particular and all Debian Instancces have a/tmp partition.

ARCH has riverted to /var and /opt partition which I do not use now. They also do not get a /home partition. I do not store Linux Images in them.

Commdore Linux discontinued..
Ugly.
ELive discontinued.
Too much configuration changes and the time it takes to install. However, it is installed in my Laptop. Www

MX Linux Moksha
Ultimate ARCH Gamer
STORM Linux
Modicia Linux

May be considered
ELive Linux

Excluded by default
VOID and NOID due to different INIT system
Emmabantus
MX Linux
Commodore Linux it takes 50GB and my limit is 40GB and around.

This might take the whole day but I am in holiday mood.

I am saying Good Bye to Gmail Temporarily

Yes, I am going to say, Good Bye to Gmail.
Of course temporarily.
I have decided to use my tablet with a large Keyboard with Sinhala fonts enabled by Google.
My NUC will get a temporary respite with Linux Image downloads with 10 Linux distributions already installed.
The latest is Network Install of Debian Forky.
I could install Endaevour OS parallel with other distribution but due to some bizarre Input Failure, I cannot Log In to Plymouth Window Manager.

It goes into timeless, "No Time Limit" which is a mystery to me.
I installed STORMY Linux instead.
It is XFCE but with some tweak I got GNOME Desktop.
Now I am into Debian's cellphone Desktop.
Bit of a learning curve.
One utility does not let me log out but the other by trial an error, I got the Log Out and Restart enabled.

I hate to Press the Switch Off button to Log Out.

Story About Debian Root Password

I just read a few of the FORUM discussions and most likely by guys coming from Windows backgrounds.
I am currently installing Debian Forky.

Under the password frame it clearly states that (my English ), if password is not set all the Root privileges are passed to SUDO, when the User requires it.
The Root Password is used for System Requirement like INSTALLING Software or erasing a USB or SATA do indicate hardware are under control of the USER.
I am Installing it without GNOME and with only cellphone utility (without root privilege) to whether I can access my cellphone and Hard Disk Data like photos.

I would Report as and when I encounter difficulties.
I cannot access

Synaptic Package manager without the root password.

I only wanted install AbiWotd.
Synaptic Package Manger I reinstalled but the same problem exists.
I think I have to go back and install Gnome and thr cellphone packages.
It was installed under Gnome and this time fire fox is missing.

I am going to install with root password now.
There is a Terminal and I gave my user password and it does not recognize it.
That is why I never use SU for any of my software installation.
It s a pain.
I typed SUDO it gives me helper advice and no password request.
I am posting this using the cellphone utility of Debian and not using Gnome for the first time. Google does not lo in with the  Morph brower of the utility due to security reason but my favorites Fireox is there.
