I Revisited Big Linux after almost two years and installed Generation Z Desktop on my old Laptop.
My Laptop looks modern and fantastic.
I gave up since it did not configure GRUB on my NUC. Unlike other guys I have at lease 5 distributions running parallel and GRUB is Grand Unifyer.
I choose the smooth curved edges.
It is a new experience and KDE Desktop.
There is lot of help after installation but before installion there is nothing figure out which Image to download. I am a one who is antagonistic to KDE and tinkering after installation.
I do not like tinkering after installation being an avid user of Debian GNOME.
But what stand out compared other distributions is that the selection is done before the installation.
I do not think Guys and Girls can match Big Linux Desktop.
It is MANJARO based and I had a big animosity with them since MANJARO could not figure out how I set about with my Partition Table.
I mess up with the partitions and EXT let me do that without inhibition.
These Elive guys said that I have to run ones (1) and zeros (0). I haven't done that since 1995 of Windows era.
It annoyed me and I have ditched Elive jusy like UBUNTU.
If somebody wants a modern dedktop go and get the Iso Image that suits you and install Big Linux.
