Jayaratne Pathiraja-Rebirth Connection

Jayaratne Pathiraja

Rebirth Connection

I am one who would like to investigate Rebirth Connections.

Looking at this gentleman's to ability explain (not all) historical facts it seems to me that he has uncanny knowledge of entire Ceylon and it's history.

He seems to have been a Buddhist monk in his previous birth.

With age he shows some discrepancy in information he is disclosing.
One should not pass judgement and ridicule him but should investigate with an open mind.
He himself says these information is coming from his previous birth experiences.

Previous Birth Records retold are generally non continuous.

One should not expect continuous flow of information.
His ability to read scripts written on stone is phenomenal, perhaps with inconsistencies.
I think somebody who is interested in this field should record them.
He is not volunteering everything that comes to his mind but only a part of the information registered in his brain is dished out due to abuse made by some Buddhist monks.

I think he has the right for copyright!

Ellawala Medhananda Thera-Buddha Born India+ Mahawansa

Ellawala Medhananda Thera

I do not take responsibility for the assignment made by this Thero.

According to Ellawala Medhananda Thera there is no historical evidence to say Buddha was born in Ceylon. However, he states that the Emperor Asoka had identified the place of birth of Buddha in India and had  erected a stone pillars with inscription to validate such facts.
There is no reproduction, of the stone pillars with the scripture.
According  to him, here are some guys in CEYLON who are propagating false impressions to say Buddha was born in Ceylon for publicity and perhaps for making money on YouTube.
Do not believe those bogus stories is his advice.
Medhananda Thero is a world recognized archeologist.
Do not inundate the Thero with queries. He is old and recovering from a recent illness. Instead, read the books written by this Thero.

However, I do not believe his statement that round Sinhala words originated directly from Bahamian alphbatet.  Those letters are somewhat like matches laid down on a surface with a few letters having rounded shape in the bottom.

It is more than likely Sinhala letter originated from Pali  and Pali itself descended  from India, perhaps with Indian coming to Ceylon with Mahinda Thero.

I have written a book on Prehistory of Ceylon which goes back to 100,000 years along with three levels of planes in Ceylon relate to meteorite hit dating back to millions of year. I also postulated that Ceylon was a much bigger Island perhaps a Continent that 95% of it went under or destroyed by the meteorite impacts.
Eventually, it got juxtapositioned against India and ill fitting with Indian contour.

Subsequent calcium deposits erased the original contours.

Manjaro Linux

Manjaro Linux

Thank YOU Manjaro Developer Girls and Boys.

After long lay off I installed Manjaro and it is pretty good.

This is posting from Manjaro instance.

I used to use Gnome Software for installing additional packages.

Gnome Software is taken as an application and it has a limit for its application install. I do not like flatpak which is bulky and Gnome Software has a common library. I could not Install GIMP. I could not install Gnome Box.

But Manjaro Software let me install Box as flatpac.

My advice is use ONLY Manjaro Software.

No problem configuring my GRUG boot loader.

Manjaro is a superb distribution and my finicky Gnome behavior is the fault.

In any case gnome is going to be a new distribution on its own and I am watching its development in the future.

I am a Debian Guy and Gnome comes on top of Gnome.

I have no intention of leaving Debian.

Incidentally I installed Debian 13 Testing Gnome and it's application package is fixed and I am unable install even AbiWord as an additional package.
