The Story of the Squirrel-Trin-Go

 Sunday, February 10, 2013

 The Story of the Squirrel

This is chapter in my new book coming soon-rebirth revisited.
Second half of the story will be available only in the book.

It is fitting to finish this book with this story.
In fact this story hastened me to write before other books that I was planning for sometime.
Fortunately, if happened during the prolong industrial action and I could record the story briefly for posterity with the help of my wife and my daughter.
Family Crisis, TRIN-GO the Trigger Mechanism of the Crisis
TRIN-GO was the newly coined name of our adopted grandson who was a very tiny squirrel who even had not opened its eyes.
We  kept a diary of its progress not with any intention of including it in this book but the unexpected events that unfolded had made me to do so, and in fact hastened writing this book.
After, I had attended to the emergency need (half of the rescue work by my wife) I let the tiny one relax and go to sleep since my wife had frightened it very much, the only sedative I could assure was a dark room conducive for sleeping.
I went to sleep myself and when I got up, the next thing was to name it.
GO was vital and I had decided that it had to GO when he is ready.
I won´t get attached to it.
TRI is that it had to survive from the CATS, and my DOG and the fiery Ants.
It also has stripes not three but many on its back.
I left a little notebook for my daughter to keep the records and again went back to town to find a suitable PEN.
Quite by accident the name rings on me the way we handle RECONCILIATION.
We are like CATS, DOGS and SQUIRRELS,
They cannot live in one house or a PEN.
Without any amendments the new name was endorsed by the adopted family and the poor  squirrel family has to be satisfied one minus but soon the juvenile would be roaming on rooftops and tree as bird.
We are worse than CATS, DOGS and SQUIRRELS.
In spite of the oddity in nature they somehow survive near human habitation.
Only rarely one has to intervene, when one is young, blind or injured.
Then, we have to extend some help.
Soon he has to be released to the mother nature.
That was my resolve and no attachment.
Diary of the Young Squirrel
Few pages of the diary are here with very little editing.
Day 0ne-1
Friday the 21st of September 2012.
TRINGO is a bundle of energy.
He climbs up to the rooftop of the hurriedly made and fabricated playpen.
He takes only 3 drops per feed.
Last feed was at 11.50 A.M make and some fresh milk needs to be prepared at at4.30 P.M.
He has not passed water / urine and appeared very dry.
His stools are dry like squashed, parboiled dry rice.
Day Five-5-Tuesday 25thSeptember
Opened its eyes and may be about five weeks old.
Day 9 -Saturday, 29th September
Weighed 20 grams.
Day 11
Barely able lick milk on the anatomical snuffbox of the dorsal aspect of my hand.
Day 12
Able to reverse backwards,
Day 13
I made a mess while feeding and his under belly and tail was soaked with milk which I attributed wrongly to his urine.
Tiny drop of urine on my hand but very concentrated.
Gives a signal before voiding bowel which were soft and yellow.
Still weighs 20 grams but 21 grams after a feed.
I had to spend over two hours since he was very active and won’t settle down in the pen.
First jump when left on the bed on its own.
Tears down my dog’s eyes
Why?
I was playing with the new guy.
Yes, for three days he had tears in its eyes.
Are you neglecting me because of this new guy?
That was the message my dog planted in my eyes.
Able to nibble at soft banana but not able to swallow but takes the juicy part and still not ready for solids.
Needs coxing and guiding.
Unable to find food on its own except milk.
Loves fruit yogurt.
Very active won’t go to sleep.
Climb up and down and wonder away and not able to define its sphere of activity and returning to the base.
All together  two and a half hours play time and no winder my dog felt sad for himself.
Very well settled down. Grooms and talk to self and listen to external sound attentively.
Day 14-4th October
Becoming independent.
Able to find food on a tray but goes into panic mode when feeding is discounted.
Grooms on its own but not not the tail.
Self assured and no wondering in the pen aimlessly.
Tail still not straight or fully formed.
Alert to the presence of me or my daughter.
Has not gained weight probably due probably to its hyperactivity.
Teeth growing but unable gnaw guava which was hard for its teeth.
Loves ripe banana.
Day 15
Sleeps well when he has had a good meal.
Feeds more in two sittings.
Loves fruit yogurt.
Day 16
Very talkative.
Say no and able to refuse food.
Loves to wonder around aimlessly.
Day 17-7th October 2012
Teeth visible.
Feeds OK.
Voiding OK.
You will see the rest of the story in the book both in print form and digitally.

Peanut Linux and Old Computers

01-03-2013

Peanut Linux
Since I have talked about peanut, jumbo variety which a seed cost more than one Rupee, this Peanut Linux renamed aLive / aLinux is FREE, if you have a good download facility.
aLive / aLinux the earliest version which I downloaded in 2009 is pretty good.
Enjoy Peanuts in Linux if not Jumbo Peanuts.
Thanks Guys and Girls of aLinux for your hard work, which is very much appreciate
This is a reproduction from Distrowatch.
I am currently downloading it.
My oldest computer with 4M Graphic Ram on board has no Linux distribution to run except Redhat 8 and Mandriva, 9 both of which are not supported.
Even Antix does not have a Kernel for it.
I will run this DVD on it with 256 RAM and let you know the result soon.
I do not think it will work.

If you have a Apple Mac not running there is Yellow Dog 6.2 available for download.
It is a DVD and I managed to download for an Emergency, after many failures over the last six months (6) and on the umpteenth attempt.
Our Telecom is super fast with many interruptions!
These sites will stop storing these images.
Yellow dog 5.2 is in 5 CDs and it works well (only distribution with enough utilities) works well on the Apple Mac I bought for testing Linux.
It has very little RAM and no DVD and I am not going to try this DVD.
I am keeping it for one day when an Apple Guy is Sri=Lanka is in trouble not being able to run his computer.
I won´t spend money on an Apple from which I can buy 20 to 30 Tablets with Androids which will soon hit even the Sri-Lankan market.
Good Luck for Apple marketing strategy!
Reproduction
Jay Klepacs has announced the release of aLinux 15.0, an independently developed distribution (formerly known ad Peanut Linux) designed for ageing computers and featuring the KDE 3.5.10 desktop: "aLinux 15.0 released, updates the graphical installer, dialogues, etc., easier to install. Same old system but with just enough updates to be 'usable'. KDE 3.5.10, X.Org 7.7, glibc 2.17, GCC 4.7.2, Linux kernel 2.6.34.14, Perl 5.16.2, Skype 4.1.0.20 (MSN and Windows Live support). Main web browser is Firefox 17.0.1. Distro is optimized for i686 now. Kopete has been removed and replaced with Pidgin messenger. It's still a distro aimed at computers from the past (mine included), so if you're looking for the latest bleeding edge, you won't find it here, but if you're looking for something a bit more complete from a past 'yesterday' operating system that still manages to work in 2013, this may suit you."

Kalama Sutta

Friday, March 22, 2013

This is a reproduction of one chapter in "Rebirth Revisited"
Kalama Sutta
The Story
The people of the small town Kalama complained to Buddha that they were confused by contradictions they discovered in what they heard from various teachers who praised their own doctrines. They asked Buddha, who was staying in the town then, who to believe out of all those who, like himself, passed through their town.
"Venerable Sir, some recluses and Brahamins visited this town and praised only their own doctrines, but condemned and despised those of others. And it is common that they do so.
Sir, who among them told the truth and who told the falsehood?"
Buddha advised them, saying, "Kalama people, it is proper for you to doubt and to have perplexity when doubt has arisen in a doubtful matter."
He then, went on to instruct that it is wise to make a proper examination before committing to a doctrine or any teaching.
He said that it should be applied to his own teachings as well.
In Pali, Buddha's reply is recorded thus;
1. Ma anussavena.
Do not believe something, just because of its repeated hearing and passed down and retold for many generations.
2. Ma paramparaya.
Do not believe something merely because it has become a traditional practice of many generations.
3. Ma itikiraya.
Do not be led by rumour, hearsay or common opinion.
4. Ma Pitakasampadanena.
Do not be led by because it is in the scriptures.
5. Ma takkahetu.
Do not be led by mere logic or surmise.
6. Ma nayahetu.
Do not believe something merely because it accords with the axiom of one’s philosophy.
7. Ma akaraparivitakkena.
Do not believe something because it appeals to specious reasoning or  "common sense".
8. Ma ditthinijjhanakkhantiya.
Do not believe something just because of the bias towards the idea or notion.
9. Ma bhabbarupataya.
Do not believe something because the speaker´s seeming ability and seeming trustworthiness.
10. Ma samano no garu ti.
Do not be led by upon the consideration that he is your teacher.
Kalamas, when you yourselves directly know, "This is  unwholesome, this is blameworthy, this is condemned or censured by the wise, these things when accepted and practised lead to poverty and harm and suffering," then you should give them up.
Kalamas, when you yourselves directly know, "These things are wholesome, blameless, praised by the wise; when adopted and carried out they lead to well-being, prosperity and happiness," then you should accept and practise them."
The Pali text runs like this: "Etha tumhe Kalama. Ma anussavena, ma paramparaya, ma itikiraya, ma pitasampadanena, ma takkahetu, ma nayahetu, ma akaraparivitakkena, nid ditthinijjhanakkhantiya, ma bhabbarupataya, ma samanro no garu ti."
1. Do not accept anything on mere hearsay (repeated hearing).
2. Do not accept anything by mere tradition.
3. Do not accept anything on account of rumour.
4. Do not accept anything just because it accords with the scriptures.
5. Do not accept anything by mere superficial supposition or surmise.
6. Do not accept anything by mere axiom (inference).
7. Do not accept anything by merely by specious reasoning.
8. Do not accept anything merely because of the bias towards the already held notion.
9. Do not accept anything merely because the seeming ability of the individual or the preacher.
10. Do not accept anything upon consideration that the ascetic is a respected teacher.
But when you know for yourselves ¨these things are bad, these things are blameable, these things are censured by the wise, undertaken and observed these things lead to harm and ill¨, abandon them.

Loving Kindness

Loving Kindness

One whose wish is to do
Meritorious act with skill
And strive to attain
The highest goal of all,
The state of the Supreme
Should thus possess
The supreme qualities
Of mankind

Thus, he should be
Upright, competent and candid
Gentle, humble and accommodating
Thoroughly, independent and content
Light in bag and baggage
Simple in ways, means and virtues

Discreet, prudent
With sensual desires
In full check of self control
Not greedy, haughty and not bound
By bounty or bondage
To the lineage of family and life

Would dare not err on the tinniest
Of what the wise
Would fear the most

May all beings,
Be happy, content
And safe in their habitat
Without any exception

Of all living beings
That exist
The beings weak or strong
The beings tall or stocky or otherwise
Short or tiny or the chunky
Those to be seen
Or  not seen
Those dwelling near or far
Those who are born
 Or to be born,
 May all beings,
Without any exception,
 Be happy and content

 Let there be no deceit
 Nor despise of nobody
 No anger or ill will
Let there be no wish to harm any
Just as the mother would protect
Her only child
Even at the risk of her own life,
 May all beings are protected
Thus with that absolute devotion

Let one cultivate
The unfathomed mind
 Let there be boundless love
That pervade the universe
 Above, below, across
And in all directions

 Be there of no hindrance
To that universal love
Or no hatred or enmity
Whether one stands, walks or sits
Lies down
Or as long as
One is awake

One should cultivate the mindfulness
In earnest,
It is the highest
Conduct of all
 Devoid of wrong views
 Endowed with virtue and insight
 One discards all attachments
To any sensuous desires

Truly, he does not come again,
To be reborn again

With the said truth of unanimity, may I be well.
With the said truth of unanimity, may I be free from illness.
With the said truth of unanimity, may I attain the blissful victory

Forgotten Tribes

Forgotten Tribes
I was running short of ides to write then hit upon a gold mine.
Shall I say it is the Pandora’s Box.
It was all indirect.
I was flabbergasted by how the white man of the West and America, now prompting Human Rights as its agenda, while all the time destroying all the history belonging to the tribes that befell (they have decimated in 500 years) in their hands.
No western nation is free of abuses.
European Union so powerful in their proclamation of human rights but won’t have any description of the tribal history in their modern libraries (history books) how and why there is no mention about Aborigines (who were wiped out from Tasmania).
There is a lot conspiring by historians and also people who are editing modern encyclopedias.
There is paucity of information of Arawak’s of Caribbean and the rest of the tribal exterminations.
There is paucity of information of slave trading.
Why,  children of 21st century are not told about these excesses and atrocities.
Can we wipe out the history of almost 50 to 100 million who were wiped out, by western colonizers?
Unfortunately, Christian Church is also culpable of propagating and spreading agenda of false information.
Past is forgotten for convenience.
The tribal nations Including Indian Tamils who were brought in here needs to know who brought them here as slaves for pittance.

History is history, there cannot be duplicity.

This applies to present Sri-Lankan administrators too.

History cannot be forgotten and statistics cannot be doctored.
There are dark ages in every history but falsifying it is not correct.
There is no consolation for the survivors even if the figures are right.
At least there is no genocide in this respect as it is claimed by the western erudite who know little in their history including Canada.
There is a fabric of untruth, they are weaving to distort the history of current events as well as past events of five centuries.
That cannot be called diplomacy, even though diplomats are habitually trained to lie but not get caught off guard, in the process of lying.

What if one wants to try Linux?

 Thursday, July 25, 2013

 25-07-2013

What if one wants to try Linux?

This is a short recipe but the steps are far too many.
1. Decide what one needs
List the utilities one needs
Web browsing using only a cloud utility
Anonymous web browsing
Needs a word processor free of copyright, for example LibreOffice
Needs a photo editor
Video/Audio player +++++

2. Decide on the CD/DVD image (DVD is preferable) of the distribution

3. Download preferably a torrent file which checks the file integrity and checksum

4. Decide on the hardware Laptop (never use a secondhand laptop) PC or self assembled PC.
Old secondhand PC computers with updated RAM (minimum of 1 GIB is my recommendation) with a graphic card of 256 to 512 MB is a good choice especially if it is the spare computer one is going to use it as.

On board Ethernet card is mandatory.

If there is no spare computer to download or the download speed is slow like in the developing world one has few options.
I do not download or test distributions now to save my electricity bill.
If I can save one month's of electricity bill I can buy the Linux magazine for a whole year.
That is what I do now.
One can visit and browse the Linux Magazine site and buy old copies of the magazine with Linux DVDs in them.
If you do so and buy a magazine copy, go for the copy with Knoppix DVD (as an extra copy) and a another copy of your desired distribution.

My approach.
One has to decide on either 32 bits or 64 bits (can have more RAM) version.
I will have five to six distributions in one box, few for my use and others for testing.
1. Knoppix CD (not DVD)
2. Gparted CD.
3. Linux Mint KDE (15)
4. Peppermint 4
4. Kiwi Linux
6. SuSe Linux KDE
7. PCLinux LXDE
8. Tails
9. Kali Linx
10. Debian 7.0
11. Pinguy Linux and many more

STEP 1
I boot up the Knoppix 7.0 CD.
This is to check my hardware.
This is the best Live CD to check on my hardware and it never fails.
If you buy the Linux magazine one is able to read the articles (questions and answers mostly) written by Knoppix himself.
I use this CD to partition my hard disk using Gparted.
It needs a rerserFS partition and a swap partition (onw has to use sufficient capacity for the DVD).
Then I install Knoppix CD version on the hard disk (follow the instruction while installing).

STEP 2
Then I boot Gparted Linux CD (Gnome Linux) and verify what was done and format all the partitions, (except where Knoppix is installed) for my need (read my articles on partitioning).

STEP 3
Then I install one by one all the distributions and see which one has the best GRUB utility.

Suse has the best configuration, partitioning and Grub file.
Peppermint comes close second but has very few utilities (cloud friendly Google based).
No word processors, torrent or disk burners.
Kiwi is pretty good alternative to Ubuntu

STEP 4
Redo the Step (three) 3 so that I get the best start up grub file that boots all the distributions.

I do this once a year and I have finished that cycle a few hours ago and I installed (downloaded) all the missing files of Peppermint except one that creates (it is not available in graphic form) an iso image of my final upgraded distribution.

Few comments worth mentioning.

1. use a router and not a telephone hookup.

2. Do not listen to guys/girls who test them on virtual machines.
There is a big difference in performance in actual hardware than in a virtual machine.

3. Do not install while connected to the Internet, it takes hell of a long time.
It is a waste of time.

4. Use SATA with at least 150 GB not IDE of 80GB.

5. Do not use more than 15 partitions (SuSe cannot detect more than that).

6. Have three partitions for your most used Linux distribution.
/root., /home and /var and the rest of the distributions can be installed in one or two partitions.

5. Have two users always, one for root or administrator and one for regular user with good passwords.

All my users name come from the primate family from chimp to bonobo to gorilla.

Ubuntu forums tells me that their password file is compromised and that means my account too.
So strong password is mandatory now with lot of hackers out there.
Once one is familiar with a distribution try to stick with it without upgrading if the system is running well.

6. Do the preparation in mid July and not in December when everybody is on leave.
We were on a long industrial action in 2012 and I had nothing to do except fiddling with Linux and that was a discovery I made quite fortuitously.
Before that I did it on December and found that I had to re-install some f them in April or May.
Linux distributions tend to mature by mid year, strangely enough!

Why I use Abiword / LibreOfice for basic work?

 Tuesday, July 30, 2013
Why I use Abiword / LibreOfice for basic work?

There are many reasons.
I will list only a few.
1. Simplicity.
2. Ability to remove all formats
3. Ability to remove annoying Macros (this is on reason I started using OpenOffice when word processing was dominated by Microsoft word-97-when one starts opening a document, one was allowed this option).
4. Its page format is solid if one knows how to use them effectively.
5. It is print ready
6. Let one uses the page view and print view before finalizing a document.
7. It has its own document format not recognized by any other word processor big or small and let them go into panic mode.
This I use as a security option and save option as well as to tease other word processors.
8. It is light weight when uploading a document.
9. It can be converted to any other word document format effortless and seamlessly except perhaps Latex.
10. It has PDF facility.
11. it does not have facility for index but makes good a good table of contents
12. I do not use images and photos at this stage of the document to simplify my work.

When and Why I use LibreOffice?
Having finished the basic document in Abiword and when I want to add few cutting edge formatting, I upload the Abiword file and do the final touch up in LibreOffice without infringing copyrighted material.
I add images and photos shed of the unnecessary load of the image format ( for example added in by gimp
If I am not happy with the touch up, I upload it back again to Abiword and remove the touch up and work upwards to my satisfaction.
Lot of people try to do everything on the first go and on the first file, that is why reworking is hazardous and time consuming on the original file and it has to be proofread before publishing.

Human Equivalent of Elephant Age in Captivity

Thursday, October 17, 2013

This is a preview of a chapter in my next book "Elephant Talks" which will be out soon.

Human Equivalent of Elephant Age in Captivity

I sometime get some bizarre ideas.
This is one of them.
I wonder if we equate the age of an elephant to human age where does it stand.
It is not an easy answer since we do not have vocal language parameter to go by.
They certainly can understand our language but but they cannot talk back.
We have to derive some other ploy.
Before I delve into that I will try to age a dog in human terms.
Then, I will use that age to judge the elephant.
The question is who is smarter.
The dog or the elephant?
We are very close to the canines, it is relatively easy to age a dog in human terms.

Aging a dog in human terms

Below is the relevant information posted in one of my blogposts about chronological age of a dog in relation to human age.

Old Dog Haven and Senior Dogs

There are lot of myths about dogs but here I want to illustrate few human facts that I should communicate with Maha Brahma who was a yesteryear dog exterminated to make room for Perahara Pilgrims that visit the holy city of Kandy. Most of Sri-Lankan end up in hell whereas the Maha Brahma's dog and present assistant of Maha Brahma were dogs from this country.
By clever design they ended up there and for my luck I happen to know the Present Maha Brahma’s Assistant as a Paraya dog in Kandy and I am fortunate enough to communicate with him by virtual email.
First the bad news.
Lot of paraya dogs were cleared up recently in preparation for Perehara and I want a place reserved for them in hell (for the municipality exterminators not the exterminated paraya dogs).
In some countries when they are old they are sent to Old Dogs Haven.
I want the Maha to take them to heaven moment they are exterminated but make a short list of the exterminators and send that list to Apaya (Hell) Server.
I have designed a full proof program to catch dog killers and that is working nicely in Apaya Server currently but the problem is these dog killers live longer  than the dog by many a mile due to cardiac surgery performed.

Senior Citizens                                              Senior Dogs

1. They have homes for the elderly       1. Haven is practically hell for the dogs
2. Some senior citizens by that time     2. There is only extermination decree    become mayors of the holy city
3.They never give way to juniors          3.Junior dogs take charge of the brood

I have another plea.

If one wants to age with the dog please do the following.
1. Take care of a young dog at the age of 43 (when nobody seems to want you including your wife and the kids) years.

2. When you are 50 your dog is 7 years old and equal to 50 years of human age.

3. In another three (3) years when your dog is 10 he is equivalent to 60 human years and you will be 53 years.
You are younger by 7 years.

4. In another two years dog (at 12 years) will be 70 and you will be only 55 years.

You are younger by 15 years.

43=0

50=7=50 ( only at 50 one can be at the level of the dog age and enjoy with your contemporary to your heart's content and his company prevents you from getting a heart attack, if you delay the dog will get a heart attack).

53=10=60

55=12=70 (This is the time you get a bypass operation and  the dog gets a heart attack).

5. Now that you have become the mayor at 55 after retiring from service would you be kind to this dog  who is 70 years human equivalent (12 years  of our time) or sent for the Municipality Exterminator.

6. They are just old senior dogs / citizens they do not have a parliament to go but only the streets but unlike you they look after our streets even at night when young, is it reasonable to put them to death.

7. How come if I say all the senior citizens who were ex-parliamentarians and drawing a fat pension and to save money for development they should be exterminated.

Will you pass a bill and vote yes  in parliament?

Are we reasonable human beings?

What I am referring here is not the chronological age but the mental age which is different from the age in years in children’s growth.

It is easy to assess the mental age of a dog unlike an elephant since they live close to us and adopt to our way of life easily.

But there is big variation while I believe depends on the pedigree and their upbringing.

Paraya dogs seem to get arrested at mental age of three (3) of human equivalent if they leave the care giver early and were neglected in there upbringing.
That I call the streetwise age which is quite adequate for their survival.
They live in fear and insecurity which a child will inherit if he/she is abandoned by parents and live in a children’s home.
The fear and insecurity give them all essential survival skills.
If the dog is a pedigree dog depending on the type and upbringing the mental age of human equivalent may go up to five.
My dog ranks about seven and he is clever enough to twist my arm t every opportunity without arousing my suspicion and anger.
He is a clever manipulator of the skills of seven year old child.
He always beats me and is very smart.
Enough of dogs this book is about elephants and how we age an elephant in human mental age?
That is a difficult task.
Elephants are with us not by their choice but due to human manipulations.
They are prisoners without a choice.
In this context their mental age is arrested to suit to adopt and live with us.

Aging an Elephant in human terms

My gut felling is that the Elephant age is more than seven as compared to a dog.
It is more likely ten (10) than seven years of age.
I want to raise it to teens, more of 13 or 14 than 16 years of age where in humans concepts develop.
For example we human can develop few concepts call elephants in captivity concepts.

1. The elephants are created by gods for our work.

2. They should be deprived of their place in the jungle hierarchy.

3. They can be trained like dogs.

4. One should use pain as a mode of taming them.

5. They should be chained.

6. They should be used for religious activity.

7. They should be called orphans.

8. They should be a state symbol of the wealthy merchants.

9. There should not be any political freedom for them.

10. They should be governed by human laws and regulations.

11. Then develop the myth that carrying the Tooth Relic of the Maligawa is the highest order that a tusker will attain in this life.

12. In next life he/she will be invariably in heaven.

The list can go up to 100, the pain points under its pachyderm which are used by the mahout to cause pain to this gentle giant so that he/she is subservient to human denigration.

I listed them to show how fallacious all of them are.

The elephant by being a beast cannot conceptualize that captivity is wrong and I should go back to the jungle.
They become attached to the human bondage and live a life of prisoners of conscience.
That is why I put them to 13 and 14 age of mental age where our teenagers are not acquired full freedom but have to be engaged in a prolonged period of so called education at the end of it have no job security but a minimum wage band which is twice the poverty line.

The plight of the teenager is no different from the elephant in captivity.
Unfortunately we cannot send the elephant to higher education in the university but the teenager can aspire it.
Failing which he becomes a downcast or a terrorist.

Freedom Revisited

Freedom Revisited

I just did a survey of our personal and political freedom from the time of independence and suddenly discovered seven (7) stages.
This can be applied to an elephant in captivity but in the case of the elephant the poor animal has few stages and no political freedom at all.
I will list them first and expand on each stage on a future date.
The reader can have his or her own classification.

1. Stage One
Born Free
That is the stage we enjoyed for over a decade.
Then we went in search of the second stage since the freedom did not filter down to everybody.

2.Stage Two
Freedom Struggle
We lacked economic freedom at this stage.

3. Stage Three
Freedom Fighter
Wasted Time
Never got the freedom we were fighting for.

4. Stage Four
Freedom left to be Abused
This is he stage were politicians (all shades) in the name of their expansion abused our freedom left right and center (they are the only one who gets a pension in five years for doing sweet nothing)

5. Stage 5
Freedom Lost
This is the stage we lost all freedom in the name of new constitution.
Even the judges lost their freedom to politicians whims and fancies.

6.Stage 6
Freedom to be abused by those who are in Power
This is the most interesting phase where anybody who is somebody with some power (this includes officers)  can become corrupt with impunity with no legal barriers.

7. Last or the 7th stage is Freeing the Freedom from clutches of Power.

Freeing the Freedom from clutches of Power
Unfortunately  we have not reached this stage since there are enough legal barriers  like 2/3 (two third) majority etc;

We have to go behind a Bo Tree and Pray for Divine Intervention.
Unfortunately foreigners including Indians and Westerners can do sweet nothing since we are a Sovereign State and one has to leave sovereign bars (Gold) in front of the altar of
Demo=Crazy.
