Erasing
Microsoft UEFI
Erasing
UEFI from a proprietary laptop is difficult.
Manufactures by collusion with Microsoft does not allow old BIOS System at boot
up and specially Linux.
F2
is often blocked with a password.
One cannot simply dual boot a Linux system with UEFI capability.
So
I erased everything with Knoppix but Knoppix could not boot from hard
disk.
I
erased hard disk with Debian 9.2 but it could not boot after
installation.
Additionally SSD
hard disks cannot handle a boot loader.
Finally
I tried BSD OS, The TrueOS and it did the honours.
I
installed it and UEFI was erased for good.
Big Thank YOU TrueOS.
Mind you TrueOS takes over your hard disk by the neck and do not try it, if you are a novice.
