Meditation Research and Pseudoscience

I am in the process of finalising a book on "Commercial Enterprise" of Meditation (Not the exact Title).

I am a medical guy (pathologist in latter stages) retired and I have no commercial interests except Roylaties on my books on many fields including Linux and Dhamma.

I have over 35 books published at Amazon Books. This is not an advertisement to those books.

I have never taken part in meditation but have been invited as an observer on many occasions.

My response to Meditation has always being neutral.

Today, I found an article in GOOGLE that distorts facts, possibly to attract money to the said Institute.

1. 20 subjects

2. 7 Day Retreat

3. Multiple behavioral Inputs (not described)

4. Neuronal study (controversial part)

5. Using blood or serum containing thousands of Interleukins.
I have a book on Interleukins published during Corronavirus pandemic.

6. Drastic concludions which I do not agree

Commens
A single high dose corticosteroid after 8 hours could produce these effects.

By the way, low dise Asprin has over 22 biochemical actions and is safer, cheaper and effective than 7 DAY PAID RETREAT.

I am not going to use this article as a subject matter in my book since that gives CREDIBILITY to  the said claims.

I am winding my blog pieces here and no more communication on this issue.
