Abhidhamma Studies and “Faked News”

Abhidhamma Studies and “Faked News”

I have made a deliberate attempt to be out of the “Internet” for a considerable time but events have made me to come out of hibernation for brief outbursts.

This is the time of faked news.

I have no place in this environment.

I adore people like Snowden and Assanga (Many more Americans like Chomsky, Naomi who stand up to the colossal Internal Structure Embedded that is against the True Disclosure of “Real News” as against to the doctored).

Mind you this applies to Russians, too.

Unfortunately this current reality applies to Dhamma, too.

The contents in Sinhala is obnoxious to say the least.

I will state one word of Buddhagosa, from Vissuddhimagga (Good book to read before attempting current wave of “Commercial Meditation”, which is translated to Vimukthimagga (trend taken out of our old JVP, the attempt at “not” real emancipation).

Vissuddhi (I am not a scholar in any language, including my use of English- But I am very good at questioning the established argument for the sake of one which is evolving.) and Vimukithi are not the same.

Vissuddhi in my opinion is the process or the attempt at clearing the mind of illusion of the Self and its Conditionality with the antecedent to the present and probable future occurrence of conditionals.

The Vimukthi on the other hand is resultant anticipated outcome.

Talking about Vimukthi (just like the attempt by JVP) in my opinion is redundant in the absence of the methodology to achieve it.

The methodology is Meditation with the "Right View".
They are not the same.

There is enough literature published by BPS, Kandy on Abhidhamma which is the database of terminology in Dhamma.

One need not try to distort the attempt by ancient scholars who collected, counted and put it in conceptual database for future scholars to investigate.

That is my bone of contention.

Just try to derive mental benefit of Meditation by reading them before sitting down for a session.
That is my advice.
