Similar to 11 but almost blackish font with a light blue shade in the background.
The real discription is charcoal or amber (අඟැරු ) that we used to write on slate (ගල් ලෑල්ල ).
Fonts are large
Automatically detected all 4 SWAP partitions.
It is installing now.
It booted OK.
No Internet.
Reminds me of the old Gnome desktop similar to Ubuntu but with series of dots when one clicks get a host of applications in the middle.
What a difference from the modern GNOME.
It was worth going through the past which I am forgetting fast.
I lost AVL Moksha and AVL MXe.
I am now installing them.
Moksha installation is very quick.
AVL MXe with Enlightenment desktop it is bit difficult especially getting the WiFi.
Perseverance is the key.
I did not try INTERNET with only Ethernet supported. I miss Ethernet. It is fast reliable and cheap.
But in a country so big as Australia Ethernet is not financially viable option.
Well I had Ethernet in Ceylon but did not fancy support from local repositories of Debian.
We had a very smart guy promiting Debian. He came from my college but I new him by his name only. He got Sinhala font to Debian base.
2638 files with 4 desktops selected.
I am glad I am in Australia.
Had I being in Ceylon, I would not have come this far on Linux and Debian Revival.
Without Ethernet in here for Debian 10 and 11, there was No INTERNET support during instsllation.

I managed to find the DVD1 in Archive Linux and installing it.
It could not configure the WiFi and I can rembet in Ceylon it automatically configured the Ethernet connection.
However, I did not use the repository image unlike in Australia due to slow download speed and possible crash durimg installation.
I did the same and installation is without INTERNET connection. I want to see whether I can configure the WiFi after installation.
I go down the Nostalgia Track and search for Image for Debian 10 to install.
I still have partitions left.
Installation and configuration is very slow unlike modern images since image is packed with many applications including LibreOffice. If is in final stages of installation.
Fonts are big both in installation and boot up but my GRUB was ruined and it automatically detected all the SWAP partitions.
It has booted now.
I want to configure WiFi Internet.
The Voayager based on Trixie coming from France failed to boot when Debian Trixie was installed last. That annoyed me a bit. Reinstalling Linux I consider a bit of a pain.

It is 12.5 Gnome not the DVD1 and it is taking a long time to partition the 3 partitions, I newly made for Gnome.

I did not want to make boot partition btrfs.
It is firmstting them.
Installing 298010 files.
No Root and User with Gnome Live Image.
I am going to try DVD1 later since I believe Gnome would not allow me to install KDE on top.
By the way, installer is Calamara 3.2.61, Not the old Debian installer.
No Terminal information in the background.
Installation seem to be brisk.
BootLoader configuration is slow with 38 partitions on my NUC.
No ticking sound on my NUC and very quiet and cool.
Synaptic Package Manager is available but not from Software Bundle.
Transmission is available.
AbiWord was installed in a few seconds on Live Session.
I have forgotten all these minor details.
Installation failed.
I would try DVD1.
Also skip using Btrfs file system.
No GRUB file to boot.
Well I have to go for Trixe since I did not write the image 12.5 onn a USB stick.
13.6.0 Image has bundled up Synaptic Package Manager with the Software.
One has to install Synaptic from Software bundle.
Is Debian going to do away with Synaptic in future?

Well cellphone utilities, Posh and Lomiri is not available with the DVD1.

Forky is 7.0.10 but uodated to 7.1.3. 14 Debian.

To begin with fonts are large and I like that very much.
With newer versions fonts have become so small I type the password 3 times since I fear making a mistake and not being able to boot.
This happened at least twice with my old laptop.
Fonts are also small in cellphone and blogging is bit of a hastle but there is spell corrections with Google.

Well I can read all the files seated on the little over 3 and a half feet away.

Files are less and less complicated.
Linux image is 6.1.0.50.
Image updated to 6.1.0.51 at installation.
Clicked all the desktops and it amounted to 2900MB. If my memory is correct it would have been little over 2000 with only GNOME.
DO NOT USE Live GNOME or KDE for installation on hard disk.
Use only DVD1 (not source DVD) and select the desktop one needs.
It is still Python 3.
KDE is packed with lot of unnecessary packages.
Summary of Debian Forky Gnome.
1300 for Gnome only.
1900 when Lomiri and Posh added.
2900 when KDE, XFCE and LXDE addded
I sm going to stick with Forky.
Only missing application is Blender.
Now with 7 Debian based GNOME installed I added two BlueStar, two MX Linux and two BIG Linux making 13 distributions in Total over 40 partitions. When EFI is added it is 41 in partitions Total. Idea was to finish with 38 partitions but with ample space available in my 500GB hard disk.
With Me having extra Iso images in USB sticks, this task was accomplished with bit of time to spare for a long Blog Post.
One lesson I learned was /boot partition should have a minimum of 889MB space and I made all of them above 1GB.
