Linux Mint is Different

Since, I had 5 partitioms free I installed Linux Mint. I have instaled it on my PC during 32 bit era. Then I was using Peppermint Linux. I wad one who is addicted to Synaptic Package Manager. Current Linux Mint does not have Synaptic Package Manager. Instead, it has its own package system which is bit like Flatpak. I do not like the Sandbox System since it consimes lot of space.

It has ARCH sustem Add and Remove which I am fond of.

However, I used the Sandbox System to install Gnome and Plasma and it filled up the /var partition of 6GB.

I am going to keep it since I have GNOME now. I have Cinnamon Desktop under Debian and it is much cleaner and smooth but it takes lot of space, may be over 1200MB. That is why I do not fancy it but I like its Nemo File Manger.

Mint is not going to be my daily driver but BigLinux based on MANJARO is.
