This is the very reason I had been very vocal and against KDE for a long time including PCLinux.
Do not take me wrong, I started Linux with a KDE Desktopay 30 years ago.
Then, I slowly migrated to MEPIS Linux and finally to Debian.
My migration to AntiX and MX Linux is late.
I have KDE Desktop of BlueStar Linux which I call the most beautiful KDE Desktop packed with all the utilities except Blender. One can install Blender later using Octapi which is my favourite package manager.
I have Endeavour OS installed on my old laptop which is a fantastic KDE Desktop.
It prefers to stay on its own and have problems running parallel with even CachyOS.
I reinstalled both of them within last 24 hours. BlueStar Linux packed with utilities need at least 40GB for it to UPDATE.
The updates really means Reinstall.
I am a GNOME guy and HATE XFCE.
They try to emulate Microsoft Windows and some fail miserably.
Refresh OS is a Classic Example.
It fails both in its Full and Safe mode.
These guys tinker the Front End without knowing the Back End or underlying Linux base an fail.
