I asked was there a Redhat (should have asked Fedora based) distribution called Linpus?
It said NO.
This was one of the first bootable Linux after Lindows, I have used.
In fact it was the Linux CD I booted in the airport lounge as a test of my ACER Laptop.
I am Installing it on my NUC.
Without any Warning moment I gave the root and user password it started installing it on my NUC.
It booted OK and no WiFi and asking for Ethernet Connection.
If I was in Ceylon I would have used it to remind my pastand how I installed applications on BIG PC.
I am going to install Chakra Linux now on my NUC. Kernel panic and may be 32 bit only.
It would only fedtoy my 5 working books but I have copies of them in USB stick. If I ERASE the USB stick it is match over for me.
I got the laptop updated and it is time to UPDATE my NUC. I even got Chakra Linux
I now gather ACER used Linpus in their hardware.
But Knoppix was my heart throb of Linux bootable USB.
