Magiea-9-Linux-Gnome Version
Magiea Linux came to existence following legal wrangle against using the name Mandrake in France.
I well into using Mandrake KDE but changed to Redhat and Suse and cleverly changed to Debian over time and and full time from version 10 of Debian.
The nostalgia of Mandrake and its Graphic intensive Installer was my proper introduction Linux and KDE desktop. KDE was not heavy like it is today.
Mandrake uses its own repository in France, I believe and it is the Achillis Tendon, as it were. Maintaining a repository is a big ask and unlike Debian, Mageia does not have large collection. This is the same with Sparky Linux that comes from Poland. I do not have any respect for Polish since they are currently C.I.A stooges to get free stuff from America and doing underhand work to destabilize Russia.
All the American arms come through Poland and there is lot of pilfering by Polish guys.
Coming to France, generally politicians there are unreliable and double dealers and I do not want to rely on a distribution that come from France (Mageia) or Poland (Sparky Linux).
My advice is for guys and girls to use OpenMandrivaLx instead of Mageia. It looks like Mageia has improved a bit, as compared my last testing of it.
I only tested only Gnome and downloading was a bit of hassle and it supports Plasma Desktop.
