By the way, I had 120 GB external disk with faulty boot partition.
Ubuntu could not configure it BUT I used Knoppox 9 (English version) and mounted Knoppix with a large persistent volume in it.
I will be storing all my books published at Amazon and final copies of all the articles there, before my memory fails due to old age.
That should be sealed and put in in my coffin, the day I quit this World and Linux with it.
I had enormous problems installing 9 (only five distributions of my choice, one copy in hard drive and another copy, in a one terabyte external rotating disk and one exclusively on a 120 GB external drive) Linux distributios.
I rarely use the primary hard drive for my work but boot the external SATA disk.
There is a guy who is boasting in YouTube, about booting Linux in a breeze.
Please do not believe him.
He is a savvy guy with good intentions but he has never read the Linux Bible (the last copy came out in 2010).
I have it with me for reference.
I have the book "Using Linux" by QUE published in 2002 with 3CDs, Caldera Linux, Debian 2.1, and Redhat 6 version.
I used only Caldera Linux and manually configured the boot file to learn Linux.
I have misplaced those 3 CDs.
I have three other books Linux in a Nutshell and two UNIX books.
This is in addition to Redhat books.
I do not think a library in America have them for browsing.
No use at all now, with 64 bit computers in the market.
I discarded 12 of my 32 bit computers long before 64 bits computers came into operation.
Unlike Linux Star (he should be named Linux Tzar) I moved, on with the new trends.
I could not install Redhat with 2MB RAM in my first PC.
I could never update the RAM of the first computer, I bought for my son.
It is still with me, as a reminder, next to my work desk on a table which I have my utilities including knives, scissors, screwdrivers and hard disk nails and cameras utilities.
The bottom line is one should never try the things, I explain here with 4GB RAM.
One need at least 8GB RAM to run Debian 11, kernel 11.
I counted it runs nearly 3 million files when preparing the live booting.
Only Ubuntu is stable in a Live session and Debian could not remove 10 files with 4GB RAM for nearly half an hour.
I switched, the computer off and went to sleep.
Most of my problems were of my own making.
IMPATIENCE.
That is to get the GRUB file installed in the external disk.
I have large number of films in another external disk on NTFS partition of 600 GB which I am going to keep as an archive and as a reserve disk (with three distributions running within).
The point I want to bring in here is I have never lost (of course like finding an old book out of 400 other books, I forget the file's name but I know it is in the 72 GB home drive in the master hard drive) a file for 20 years.
It is vital for a book writer not to lose an old file.
Mistake number one is using 120 SDD disk.
SDD disks cannot make a boot or grub partition.
SDDs runs only one distribution.
Only one installation.
Unfortunately
I have configured it as the boot drive.
I have overcome this by having a rotating slave disk of 1 terabyte.
That is the slave disk from which I can boot the primary boot drive.
I have Debian installed in the first drive which I have migrated from version 10 to 11 version.
The home partition of this drive was never formatted but all my files going into thousands are still there which I retrieve whenever I want a file to start a new book.
I remove old files manually when updated to a new copy.
By the way, I used Peppermint
Linux and AbiWord for my books.
I could not configure the boot file using Peppermint 10 and I have stopped using it.
Now this piece is about Configuring the GRUB boot file.
Only Ubuntu can configure the boot file having looked at all three disks.
Debian cannot.
Emmabantus cannot.
Magiea cannot
PCLinux cannot.
Endless OS cannot.
Even Knoppix cannot.
Only Ubuntu does it, perfectly.
Ubuntu needs a small Grub Boot file of FAT 32.
EFI partition to bypass the Microsoft's UEFI discrimination strategy of Linux.
Other Linux distributions have not figured out this UEFI branding and brandishing.
Coming back to my failures, it is all due to my impatience.
I want to go to sleep and I switched off and rebooted, when the distribution was reading something and RAM was not flushed out and Swaps were not mounted.
Linux use SWAP partition to shift memory pages from RAM to Swap when flushing the memory.
If there are no Swap files it takes ages to flush the memory.
I have 5 Swap partitions.
One in the primary boot drive two each on the others drives.
The SWAP file is Mandatory.
SDD does not do a proper swapping.
That is the other problem with SDDs.
It cannot reconfigure boot file, if another distribution is installed.
That is again bowing down to Microsoft Mafia.
Then there is another big problem.
Suppose you have the original boot file in the primary SDD drive and it gets corrupted.
Then, one cannot boot an alternative drive.
Format and Reinstall of Microsoft is not my way.
That is why I never used Microsoft's Windows for overt 20 years.
I hate Windows for needing updates every 3 months.
In Linux once installed properly, it runs perfectly for 10 years, if one lets, the deamon utility to run at 1PM every night.
That is why I do all my important work after midnight.
With in one hour deamon utility does it's house keeping JOB in the background.
Computers are meant for running 24/7 schedule.
This is the very reason I get Ubuntu to write the GRUB file on an external disk (in my case in two removable external drives so that (it never happened in my case since, I use the primary drive sparingly and almost never on critical work), it is ready to boot any distribution (already installed).
The cardinal feature of computer is even though you have fancy gadgets everything is done or running on RAM (on RAM only).
So do not listen to these guys who used Windows for 30 years, then suddenly find Linux and try to teach one's Grandmother Linux.
The guys have never read a Linux book to see how Linux operates.
Thank Linux Torvalds, for editing 3 million files over 20 years and producing kernel 11 with fabulous Debian.
Even though, I only use Debian for my work, thanks all the same to Ubuntu (all Thanks go to Ubuntu) for Configuring the GRUB file perfectly.
The cardinal mistake I did was while Ubuntu was mounting the Swaps, I became impatient and rebooted the PC.
After telling myself of my mistakes and having had a good sleep, finally I waited for Ubuntu to do the House Keeping (PC Updating), which it did perfectly.
It took two days due all to my own mistakes but it was all worthwhile in preparation, of my new book on Debian on kernel 11.
You may be wondering why a big cock and bull story here.
Simply because I cannot put some of the things I say here in a book, which is bordering an academic exercise.
I said about books above.
I am very fast reader on many topics.
Even in the Internet I pick the gems and discard pebbles.
By the way, Internet had metamophasized to a cesspit, and one cannot learn anything worthwhile.
One cannot reproduce class room experience in the Internet.
Coming back to the book story.
I managed to find two (2) CDs on Redhat 8 and a guy in my city was having 6 Redhat out of 7 CD series, probably illegally copied and I ask him can you give me at least five copies out of six.
He never did and much later I found that the set of Redhat CDs (version 7) was for a server and it was for commercial enterprise.
The desktop edition went up to 3 CDs the most and 2CDs were enough to learn Linux.
Because of this guy I decided to learn Linux in depth, and this guy who wanted to set up a Linux network with his brother for commercial purposes went into oblivion.
I told him Linux is free and if you want to make money join the Windows guys. This guy did not have money.
But another guy who came from a rich family had a shop in the town and beat him, by associating with Microsoft.
All the young guys I tried to teach Linux was employed by him.
I used to go to his shop to do hardware shopping (he was well away from the town) and I did not find anything that I was looking for him.
There was another guy who used to go to Singapore and buy computer stuff and sold at exorbitant prices, I decided shouldn't I go to Singapore myself and save money.
This guy also got hold of one of my Linux trainers and none learnt Linux after that.
Microsoft's ploy was/is to buy these guys and stunt Linux growth in my city.
Thankfully a guy very young from my college was a wizard in Linux and was a Debian developer from early days.
I hated Redhat after 8 and joined the band wagon of Debian and never looked back.
By the way, my favorite was Mandrake which came from France but it went bust by toying with hardware called "globe trotter".
I went to SuSe for a while and when they went commercial I stopped using it.
I hate both Community driven Fedora and SuSe Linux.
None of them can beat Debian.
But my love was Knoppix coming from Germany.
To get Knoppox latest DVD I used to subscribed to journal, Linux for over 10 years and two years after retirement I stopped subscribing to it, coinciding with the demise of our dog.
By the way, I adopted Puppy Linux from its (coming from Australia) very beginning.
Barry Kauler has gone dormant and he is a better dog lover than me.
I do not blame him.
Linux has got firmly ROOTED.
Lot of eccentric guys support Linux and that is why it's success.
But my most favorite utility is AbiWord the smallest Words program but slowly I am migrating to LibreOffice 7 which is fabulous.

Thank YOU Ubuntu 21.10...

Using Debian, Ubuntu and Gparted
If I am using a brand new disk Gparted is the distribution I use.
It can be mounted on a CD or USB.
Now I use GParted mounted on a USB.
I do not like the rackety noise of the DVD driver (anyway Drive is very slow in execution).
One should not fiddle with the partition table, which GParted is capable of doing.
Partitioning is a very slow process of writing 0 and 1, what is called the machine language.
1. Number one one should have a theoretical understanding of partition table and partitions.
2. Number two, there are different file systems and I use (exclusively) journalzed Ex4.
3. If partition table is corrupted neither Ubuntu nor Gparted can remove the corrupt sectors.
A journalized memory is kept for reuse purpose and with the warning and hanging abruptly.
4. I had one terabyte external disk with lot of saved films on a NTFS partition,
The distribution I used had used 32 bit boot partition and it was not booting on 64 bit computer.
I could access all the films plugged in with Debian running, which I faithfully copied to another 320 GB external disk.
Then I tried to change the partition table using Gparted but I could not.
Tried live Ubuntu I could not.
Ubuntu also use GParted as it's default partition utility.
5. Finally I used Debian 11 and erased the hard disk of all the files.
It takes 2 days and 9 hours to erase a one terabyte hard disk.
6. I am not going to wait for 3 days.
7. Once 5 GB was erased (I had figured out the corruption file is within that region) I aborted the erasing of the hard drive.
Since I was working on partitioning, Debian had figured out my requirement and made a 25 GB FAT partition and the rest NTFS briskly.
8. Mounted Ubuntu and installed Ubuntu on the 25 GB and another 300 GB NTFS copy filing, and kept rest 500 GB reserved for future installation.
That's it.
Few more points before winding up.
I took very big RISK.
With power cuts going on, if power went out, when zeros and ones were written, I could have got a permanently damaged external hard disk.
UPS could stand for only 20 minutes.
UPS is mandatory.
If one had two UPS, better it is.
Do not do it with full stomach.
You fall sleepy when computer or the installation is waiting for you to make an entry.
One should have 6 to 8 hours completely free.
If you are married you must wait till she or he goes to see a sick aunt or uncle and is not at home.
Fridge is full of cooked food.
I had a light meal.
A tea.
A coffee.
Another snack, rather some jelly.
Unfortunately no chocolates (what is available in Ceylon is very expensive).
Another tea with biscuits.
And Ubuntu is on my external disk all nicely installed.
Due to zeros and ones this was the longest Ubuntu install in my life.
I used cell phone in between and fished out all the external disks and assortment of USBs with various distributions and MultiSystem installed on them.
If you a impatient young guy, DO not try Partitioning.
There is a guy in the YouTube who pretends installing Linux (multiple distribution s) is damn easy and breezy.
I strongly discourage using mirrors and downloading (on the go) updates while installing.
It slows down the installation and if power fails one has to do it all over again.
All one needs is in a installation image.
One can add on once the basic system is on.
Even then I cannot get AbiWord.
Only Emmabantus has AbiWord.
Ubuntu and Debian do not.
Happily I did NOT have any misadventures, at all.
I am telling you, it is not easy with over 20 years of experience.
I still make mistakes with my memory failing, like forgetting the administrator password.
I have written a few simple books on Linux some are outdated by now but the basics are the same.
New book will come soon with Kernel 11 issues, if there are any.
Hopefully, not.
Linus Torvalds is doing a grand job.
Before that I needed, an updated Linux running in my computer.

Debian 11, Kernal 5.1
Debian 11, Kernel 5.1, I installed in my computer and on an external Seagate disk.
I had a few problems, booting it from the external Seagate disk which had functional Emmabantus.
I use Emmabantus to use Abiword.
I am getting very well organized with LibreOffice 7 version, which is fabulous on both Emmabantus and Debian 11.
I have few books already finished but going through Typos and final editing.
The next book I am working will be about the problem with SSD versus mechanical rotating disk.
I have many problems with SSD which I have solved using an external disk.
More will be on this book.
Plasma desktop of Debian is sleek.
Finally it has got a live CD with the installation (Calamaras Installation) capability which was just like Mandrake/PCLinux live session.
But I prefer standard graphic installation which is second nature to me.
New Partitioning on a disk already having a functional distribution is pretty daunting but I figured out, all the feasible solutions.
In a I TB hard disk having one distribution is simply, wasting resources.
What I mean is having MaC Apple or Windows running usually on two separate computer units is absolutely ridiculous facing a massive economic down turn.
Partition of Disk
Partitioning is a messy job.
I will write a new blog piece.
Details I will reserve for the book and my first little book on Linux is about partitioning.
That book is outdated since I used partition magic installed in Windows to access the hard disk secondary to Microsoft booting requirement.
No dual booting at all.
I do not want Microsoft to tell what I do with my computer.
Over 20 years I have not used a single file (exe extension) of windows for my work.
My workhorse is Debian by default which has over 60,000 utilities and I use only sbout 3000 Debian files 2700 for installation and another 300 for my work.
Partition file is my bonfide.

Mind, the Phenomenon
First let me thank Google's Blog Phenomenon.
If not for the Google Blog Site, I would not have recorded my thinking/writing skills.
I started these snippets with British Council Library's WriteClick site, but when British Council Library, terminated this open forum, I transferred the 300 odd pieces to one single word file.
Luckily, I made several copies of that file and it's contents could be made into several books.
Some pieces were extremely large and some were little poems.
With Come Corona Virus and incarceration, I went back to writing mode not necessarily blog mode.
USA /UK geared War footing in Ukraine, which President Putin started addressing head on, including (assassination attempt) trying to kill him with a Virus has backfired.
That made me even to revisit CIA MKUltra and drug menace including Ayahuasca exploits.
My assessment of Elensky (without Z of Russia) is a mad hatter, by all counts.
Nothing to do with Democracy but death knell for Democrats.
So my entry in here with few Dhammapada verses has to come to an end.
All good things and bad things should come to an end.
That is a parallel wisdom of mankind.
Coming back to mind there are a few YouTube philosophy forums including revisiting Ludwig Weinstein.
I have not read him but heard his word's game briefly.
Let me dissect.
This is based on Buddha's Teaching.
Buddha was a good teacher.
He was not a philosopher but a very good Thinker.
1. One does not need word's for thinking.
2. Thinking is an independent process independent of any language.
For me languages have created many problems and at one time of the opinion that we should create a unified language like Esperanto.
My bone of contention is every time a leaflet comes out from UNO, it need to be translated to over 200 current languages.
In that process of translation Peace becomes War at the end.
Just like Kalu Kaputa becomes Sudu Kaputa.
3. Thinking is also independent of the physical brain.
4. Mind can exist on its own independent of the brain.
Read Buddhist Cosmology of 31 forms of beings.
The current Gods are a creation of man, including Hindus, Christians and Muslims.
5. Equally beings without brain can exist, almost like vegetable.
6. In any case plant do not have nervous system but they have over 20 sensing systems including response to motion, gravity and light.
7. This brings me back to 20 odd mysteries, I wanted to invest my time in retirement.
One is origin of life on this planet.
The biggest mystery.
Since life is already there, the only mystery is it's origin.
That is big task and ask.
In my next book, I am going to lay the foundation for that type of Thinking.
This piece is about Thinking not about Words and Languages.
Big warning!
DO NOT try to create new life but only think about it.
Corona Virus and that 20 to 30 nanometer particle is still evolving and going to creating havoc for another 20 years.
But what matters in Buddhist terms;
What are you doing to your mind.
You are always creating confusion.
Be aware and Beware.
By the way, I have stopped talking about alien contacts.
They are probably among us masquerading as CIA consorts, in Ukraine collecting biological samples to be taken back to their galaxies.
This is a funny Universe.
Talking about Unifying Theory is redundant, we cannot even, get into the 4th dimension of the World Systems.

Emmabantus 4
Emmabantus 4, based on Debian 11 is fantastic with lot of applications including my favourites AbiWord and Multisystem application.
Multisystem is an application one can use to mount several Linux operating systems in a USB stick for display.
One cannot save files but one can make lot of bootable USB sticks in one go, provided one has the isos already downloaded.
Coming back to AbiWord my favorite for writing books ran smoothly on Emmabantus.
I installed it on a Seagate external disk and there was no EEFI problems that Microsoft creates.
.
It's GRUB file detected all my installations in my SSD disk and the other IDE disk.
Debian does not support AbiWord and LibreOffice's default formating options have become a pain for my book writing.
I am Debian man and for all my routine work I use Debian.
Additionally I use Endless OS in my laptop.
I could not easily find the torrent file of Emmabantus but through www.distriwatch.com, I accessed it and there were enough, torrent peers.
I could not make a bootable USB but I have the iso mounted on a USB and no need for making a bootable DVD.
By the way, DVDs are hard to find in Ceylon.
Thank you very much to Debian and Emmabantus developers.
Your work is excellent.

Emotional Constipation and Lack of Intelligence
I am going to quit Internet.
I consider cellphone, as the most destructive invention of mankind.
However, I have downloaded few stimulating games to play and come out of any possible Emotional Constipation.
There is nothing called Emotional Intelligence.
It is a misnormer.
Emotions have no intelligence.
The correct word in Pali is Nivarana or Hindrance and all emotions are bad for mental coherence.
The biggest of all, is doubt and the doubt about the path and not the path to clear comprehension.
It is generally called Mara and even Mara daughters (this Pali word has many meanings) tried to obstruct Buddha's concentration or Samadhi and Sati.
In my case, mosquitoes ever present warn me of my lack of Metta intention, if not Metta Meditation.
My basic Bhavana technique is Metta.
I do not have this abreactions to ants. If not for the black ants my orchids want bloom.
It took nearly 18 years to get one orchid to bloom and it is over 50 years now and I have not got the Wesak orchid to bloom again.
Plant can sense and their sensing mechanisms have to be perfect to reciprocate in response.
I have come to the conclusion that Wesak orchid would never bloom and the reason is high ambient temperature.
The cement floor of the rooftop gets heated up in a few hours, the moment, the rain stops.
Rain is erratic and there is a shift of the season by about three months.
Mind you, this blog site was activated to post few verses from Dhammapada to counteract War Mentality, especially the American Industrial Complex of War mongers using Ukraine as a proxy.
It 80% American propaganda and only 20% Russian response.
Russia has not declared war and America desperately trying create it.
BEWARE!
Now Biden and EU are printing money at a hectic pace and base rate is going by 0.75 as a result.
Our guy in Ceylon is printing money from the paper stock reserved for school books.
Even the hungry cows do not eat this paper money from which we can't buy a loaf of bread.
Unless 10,000 notes are dished out to counter the d
Dollar appreciation and Rupee depreciation, we may have to carry gunny bags with 100 notes.
I could remember good old days old Mudalalis carry gunny bags of 10 notes to Colombo in Kandy Colombo.
Mudalali has a seat but the his assistant keeps a watch at the gunny bag with notes.
This happens once a week and they go to Cross Street or Malwatta street to collect the illegal stuff pilfered through the port by Batthal boats.
Finish with Dhammapada story.
Rather I bought a few Dhammapada booklets to be donated to two guys who never had expose to the verse.
One refused and the other guy indifferent.
I believe in masterly non interference.
I don't pose myself, if at all gently.
I see this incident with Muditha mode with equanimity.
Some people can never be helped.
Mara has taken them by their scuff.
Unfortunate.
Goodbye.
There will be little of me in the Internet.
It is already a cesspit.
Stinking.
Thanks to Google (it is not your fault), all the same.
The algorithm has its own ways and means.
Perpetuation!
Coming to Dhammapada even the small copy has gone up in price and there are no copies in local book shops.
I am dishing out the copies I have and two guys did not want to accept them (no monetary value for them) as gifts.
I look at them with Mudhita or detached attention.
There is a sinister attempt by the Church to insinuate and introduce the dependence on the wrong path by using "the alien agenda".
There is nothing worthwhile in the YouTube nowadays.
Even the Linux guys have not got the act together and Linux Phones are as expensive as Androids.
I had a wishful thinking that I would use a cheap Linux phone in my death bed BUT all cellphones have gone up price, there to four times the price I paid for my assortment of cellphones.
Take due care of them.
I dropped one and a small crack in display appeared instantly.
They are cutting corners in production and they are not hardy as they used to be.
Ending this with Somanassa Citta.
Thanks to Google, all the same.
Goodbye to Google and YouTube.

Truth is Stranger than What We Believe
Bible story is less than 3000 years but mankind's current history is at least about 13,000 years old.
There is missing 10,000 years of history.
I believe Ceylon also had prehistoric civilization and going beyond 5000 years to Dravidian history and Lemura.
We do not know the truth about Atlantis.
What one has to postulate is civilizations have come and gone, probably ending with high technology warfare and we are still in Zero Civilization Stage with no hope of galactic membership.
Sumerian history is very old.
For convenience we have erased that history from our history books.
What I gathered from that discussion are;
1. Ours were a binary Solar System to begin with.
2. One of the stars had died (fortunately did not explode) and it remains as a dead star.
It did not become a Black Hole and ate out Solar System.
3. It has an enormous gravitational field.
Its existence was confirmed by two pioneer explorer probes.
4. The wobbling of all the planets outside the earth is due to its enormous gravitational influence.
How far away from the planet earth is only a circumstantial guess.
5. It rotates around 26,000 year cycles and twice during this period it creates massive environmental catastrophes or efforts due to powerful alignments.
6. Every 13,000 years, huge atmospheric change or catastrophe occurs.
7. These cycles lasts at least 1000 years and erase the existing civilization, almost to extinction.
But they do recover slowly and that is called human evolution.
8. We are on the verge of such a catastrophe and our planet's history is studded with similar catastrophes that repeat themselves for eons and eons of years.
We only have only a snapshot of history left behind to rediscover written and recorded in tablets or stones by the previous civilizations.
Trying to preserve them and if possible read them constructively is a necessity.
9. Global warming is not due to CO2 but due to effect of this massive dead star gravitationally interfering with our star.
Getting young girls to cobble up a global warming propaganda according to globalists agenda of the big oil merchants or neoconservatives is not Pure Science.
10. Our knowledge of the solar system is limited.
At least part of Elon Musk's space money should be diverted for such studies.
11. One can understands why China is so much interested in space science.
12. Russia should stop the War and go back to drawing boards and invest on space science and research and collaborate with China, if not the West is a Bounden Duty.
13. This is what Neil Armstrong said when he said we need to remove the Truth Protecting Layers (in other words massive American Lies propagated for over 70 years and still continuing to pollute the world by Military Industrial Complex or Deep State) for the mankind to progress with harmony.
Of course, whether America landed men on the moon or stage crafted a nice American drama is another topic that is well illustrated in the film now banned by Google on YouTube, "Something Went Wrong, on the way to the Moon" a Comedy Style production film.
That of course, is if man had even crossed the Van Allen Belt of Radiation without untoward side effects.
14. I do not want the history of mankind of present day, NOT to be a Comedy.
15. We do not understand 95% of the putative universe which is dark matter and dark energy and is expanding at a tremendous speed faster than speed of light.
We are basically an ignorant lot and can be cheated instantly by the drop of a hat.
Ignorance is not a blessing.

Practice of Avihinsa and Mindfullness
Those disciples of Gotama ever awaken happily who day and night constantly practices Avihinsa, Mindfulness and Body (kayanuppassana) Contemplation.
Dhammapada verses 299, 300 and 301.
Recollection of Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha
Those disciples of Gotama ever awaken happily who day and night constantly practise the recollection of Buddha, Dhamma and Sangha.
Dhammapada verses 296, 297, and 298.
Amongst the Hateful be without Hate
Happily do we live, without Hate amongst the Hateful:
Amidst Hateful men we dwell, not Hateful.
Dhammapada verse 197.

Ruble Rules and EU on Steep Downhill (Pallan)
This is what happens when we give Financial Chairs to women both in USA and EU.
Yes they have all the academic qualifications far beyond the male counterparts.
They, the women try to manage the global economy, like a kitchen (cabinet) and put all the stale foods (dysfunctional laws) to the weaker partners and enjoy the crust and fame but they cannot stand up to President Putin and Ruble and crumble in front of a man who is fighting a war, while managing the Russian economy.
Now he has devised his own economy in the Asian subcontinent and countries like India and Indonesia are going to benefit.
One must not take Ceylon to this consortium, since our politicians for 70 years mismanaged the economy and they think by printing money any financial problem can be overcome.
Even in this scenario it is Russia that is giving a lending hand to Ceylon and not EU or IMF, while China is waiting like a big shark.
Ruble Rules and EU on Steep Downhill (Pallan)
Its wheat supply is 3% of the global output and if not for Russia many developing countries would starve.
If only Ukraine looked for the East, meaning Asia and dumped USA for good world would have been a better place.
It is too late for Ukraine.
Ukraine will suffer for its own making and Russia has no inclination to bail them out except grab almost 50% of land and wealth.
This is how men fight war and economics and I think the women in Think Tanks should go back to the universities they read for higher studies and revise their own economic dogmas.
When food prices go up it is the women in the house who have to economize and take the blame, not men.

Printing Money and Financing in USA
Let me start with Americans.
They are printing money to support Ukraine War.
Can you believe it?
Yes it is.
FED even though, not acknowledged this fact, it is happening.
It is happening in UK and EU and they are blaming the Russian Bear, while Ruble is appreciating in spite or the War.
But America is printing dollars to pay Ukraine payroll.
Anyway, that is their own doing.
I mean the War in Ukraine.
Let me come back to Ceylon.
It is our own LTTE who printed illegal money in Ceylon with the water mark of the Lion's Tail behind legs.
They actually cashed them to buy arms and then Central Bank Governor duly cashed them under the nose of his boss Senior Premadasa.
For his own private Gam-Udava, I believe he printed money.
LTTE showed the way and he improved it, on the sly.
He died a premature death but I believe Hora printing money printer was taken to home and his son did print some money and donated them to temples.
Temple monks were the "go betweens" him and the bank.
He only printed 100 notes.
I have refused to accept in a private hospital of a bundle of 10,000 of 100 notes.
Then the next government came in and his son started printing 500 notes for his private sports projects.
The moment, I got a note of 500, I used to pass the buck.
All governers of the central bank did not have the gut to refuse the dud notes and printed an equivalent amount of notes when the economy was not as bad today, but it added to the dollar appreciation.
So two sons of presidents did enough damage to the economy and the current PM is doing the same thing.
Why we need a government?
Simply we can let the local mafiosi to run the bank.
Now his boss JRJ is the one who started printing money first.
He introduced 1000 notes.
His nephew of course printing 5000 notes and very soon we will have a 10,000 note with IMF agreeing.
By the way, prices are up by 300%.
That is how we ruined our economy long before Coronavirus and Ukraine War.
All these happened long before Bond Scams.
That is besides the point.
Release Your Mind
Let go the past.
Let go the future.
Let go the present.
Crossing to the further shore ( meaning achieving Niibbana ) of existence, with mind released from everything, do not again undergo birth or decay ( no rebirth).
Dhammapada Verse 348.
This is the essential teaching of Dhamma.
In my 3M Meditation Code, the present moment is used to
1. Momentary (5 minutes in the morning, 5 minutes at bed time and any moment free for five minutes)
2. Moment
3. Meditation.
Taking a cue from Ajan Brahma Wanso.
What I say is do not let, a moment slip away but focus on, what one does, First Time Round, a "Quality Control Drill" on Mind.
It is personal effort, and one does not need a guru, BUT one has to understand the Anitta, Dukkha (unsatisfactoriness) and Anatta principles.
I call it the Stock Market, "Uncertainty Principle".
Everything is fluid and in a flux.
Even the attempt at meditation may pass into a flux.
But do not deter the fluidity takes away, the intitial focus of attention.
Organ Transplant and Dark Side of Ceylon
I am not going to say, Ceylon was a pioneer in Illegal Organ Deals with India but it happened in the private sector, when I was actively involved in Quality Management and Hospital care in Colombo.
It did happened 22 years ago and probably still happening, under the guise of and according to the Siri-Sagabo Tradition.
I was appalled by those sordid things and I am deregistered as a medical guy in CMC for over 22 years.
I could not do a dime those days, while working in private sector.
By the way, we have had alliance with Ukraine from Russian helicopters to Coronavirus vaccine deals, but no recollection of Ukraine having organ deals in Ceylon.
It was India and perhaps Thailand and Malaysia.
This particular girl was raped by a very popular singer and film actor and the case could be traced to this guy (possibly with venereal diseases).
The girl was under 16 years.
Victor Ivan and Ranjan Ramanayake must be having tell tell data.
Guy probably had a ? suspended sentence or no sentence at all.
By the way, one of our (cabinet) education ministers had Venerial Disease of our time.
Sinister part was this girl was sent to rehabilitation center where her parts including kidneys and bones were removed piece by piece not peace meal, at the behest of the film star to erase her existence from records.
It was public knowledge in Ceylon this guy faded away or not in this country now, perhaps in Ukraine, producing films, there for Ukraine regime.
I will relate only one case, in a fictionalized way.

Independent Media Outlets, A Healthy Trend
It is nice to see, that Independent Media are raising their heads in UK and USA.
This won't happen in France, Germany and Russia but BBC, CNN, Fox and Sky News have partisan biases and that is the very reason of the emergence of relatively Free Media Outlets.
By the way, this started with shunning Donald Trump by Twitter.
Trump was not a politician but an astute business man who ignited the interest of rich independent guys.
Elon Musk was a beneficiary but he is no politician at all, to benefit from the opening up of the media space and what comes out of Twitter remains to be seen.
Outer space will be the future battle ground of Politics and War, and China entering this field is just for that reason.
For that reason and matter to keep control of it's citizens under it's belt with Thaiwan to worry about are Chinese preoccupations.
Israel will never have Independent Media and they are good at even eliminating Media personal by force.
The emergence of Al'Jesira is the direct result of interference.
I have left out Muslim countries like Pakistan, Iran, Afghanistan and Bangladesh where women are suppressed and talking about Free Media is a joke with intolerance and hegemony ruling the masses.
Human race is not ready yet for open dialogue for another 50 years or more, only with the next generation of the young dropping all religions from the main stream activities.
This will only happen when all extreme groups and terrorist groups are eliminated.
It is interesting to note CIA is creating insurgents with the help of Poland and Germany to undermine Russian clout in Ukraine.
How Russia readies itself for this tragedy with neo-nazists integrating with Ukraine army remains to be seen.
These Independent Media are mainly crowd funded in the line of Linux philosophy, I salute the guys and girls who support these Independent Media by offering the money one would spend for a cup of tea or coffee.
Free Speech is controlled by Vested Media and the Twitter and Facebook are waning while the interest for Independent Media is waxing.
We do not want the news to be covered like one side of the moon.
Half moon is better than no moon at all, metaphorically speaking.
It remains to be seen how Internet adopt itself to education of masses rather than propaganda.
Internet was meant to be for education and that goal has to be revived and reinvested for the greater good.
Internet is currently a cesspit of junk and faked news.
The best example is Elensky's (without the Z) virtual media attempts or cheap films.

Flux of Life
Ideas extracted from Piyadassi Thera.
A Living Message.
In Life, an individual existence is the succession of changes that comes into being and passes away, not remaining constant for two consecutive moments.
There is no gap between one moment and the other.
This change of continuity which we possess in this life does not cease at death.
The death here now is the beginning of another life in another place without a transmigrating self or entity.
The mind flux continues incessantly over as an electric current continues to function though the bulb is broken and the light is not manifested.
Next birth is just like fixing another bulb, with high or low watts (kusala or akusala kamma in transsission).

Clear Comprehension of Pali Terminology
To begin with I am not a Pali scholar.
I am a scientist by nature and upbringing.
I am trying to be a philosopher but failing due to paucity of my language skills.
Having said that to understand Pali one does not need Grammer and Schematics.
The words by themselves have pristine meanings.
Larger than self of their own.
Metta
Karuna
Muuditha
Upekka are foundations of Buddhist way of life.
I have three Pali words that, I am interested:
1. Nana or near enough English word Knowledge
2. Darshana, Dassana or Wisdom
3. Visuddhi or Mental Purity, the Clear Comprehension of the concepts of Anatta (no abiding self), unsatisfactory nature or Dukkha of conditional phenomena and Anitta or changing nature of all phenomena with constant flux, are the fundamentals, to ponder upon in Dhamma.
I am indebted to all Western scholars of Pali Text Society of London and German Jewish Founders of Buddhist Publication Society (Gnanathiloka and Gnanaponika) of Kandy which was the Consultation Clinic of Dr.Dharmasena, our family doctor when I was a kid.
All these are interlocked for me to present Buddhism in a Nutshell through our erudite Reverend Narada Thera.
But if not for Bikku Bodhi in USA now, none of these texts would have been edited and presented to worldlings, all over the world.
We are on the threshold of World War, it is time for everybody to visit the Wisdom of Buddha with non violence or Avihinsa as a goal for human preservation.
It is very strange that American preoccupation is possession of guns.
Dhamma Pada does NOT have a verse on crimes but there is a popular saying in Ceylon, that states, those who carry swords are killed by swords.
Please substitute guns for swords that is especially applicable to America.
People in Ceylon had guns to protect property before JVP insurrection.
The JVP by force collected these guns and used them, in their insurrection in 1970s.
The government confiscated all the guns and only the forces can carry guns (live rounds are never charged except in combat).
This was after a shooting in the Peradeniya University where a protesting student was killed that guns were not allowed to be loaded (only when necessary the soldiers act in defense and load guns).
We are not trigger happy nation (except rank criminals who use them or premeditated cases of murder).
I heard this incident in the university and rushed to the hospital and he was DOA (dead on arrival).
Buddha's time guns were not available but he used the word Danda or Rod (used in violence).
Even monks used Danda to fight among monks of opposing views.
Danda Vagga has 16 verses.
Violence were common in human conflict throughout history only the weapons have changed over time.
China invented gun powder.
But it was in Wild West America that guns and violence were used to settle disputes.
It is (guns) a money spinner for American economy and currently it is supplying the Ukraine.
How Civilizations End?
But my presentation is slanted on Buddhist view.
By the way, Buddhism is cosmological in nature and when Gotama Buddha was described by Ananda as a colossal entity, Buddha in his own unenviable way said that there were many Buddha's before him who were formidable and that comparison should never be made.
Instead his teaching or Dhamma precede in any future discussions which also would last, only a limited time frame.
I think we have exhausted that time frame already and the world today with impending World War III, is a classic example trying to finish this Civilization in a moment of insanity.
Mind you there were lot of tribal or internecine wars in India when Buddha was spreading his Message of Wisdom.
Buddhist teaching is based on state of flux or constant change in all phenomena worldly and mental.
Buddha's focus was internal mental formations and not external.
One has to try by oneself without external inputs.
His last words at death bed was
Uppamadena Sammpadetam
What it means is all phenomena are constantly changing (instead of wavering the mind on those changing things or Dhammas) but strive to understand his teaching (without wasting time) in this life, not in the next life.
He also indirectly meant the life time currently is limited to 100 to 120 years and there is hardly any time left which is being wasted on mundane stuff.
War is mundane by default.
He did not want to go beyond 80 years, in his mind and if requested he would have lived another 40 years.
Ananda Thera was given a chance to make that request but he could not grasp it, at the moment that offer was made.
This piece is cosmological in nature and about world systems of enormity and constantly changing.
In a nutshell, all advanced civilizations end themselves when they achieve advanced technology, like space travel etc.
They also develop advanced technology to carry forward mutual destruction or MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction).
We have come to that point already and we seem to enjoy that scenario in American and Ukraine standards.
Give me more weapons of destruction.
I love destruction by all means, is the goal of Zlensky and his cohorts in UK and USA are eager to help MAD.
I am not defending President Putin and I am totally against any form of war (we had internecine war of attrition in Ceylon for 35 years and we are starving now) but stating the fact, that there is a limit one can push him (Putin in this case) and his finger is NOT on the button, at this moment.
A think Poland wants the button to be pressed and directed at them instead of Ukraine.
This is very funny world of politics.
Give him some respite by ejecting this Mad Man or Joker without Z or Elensky.
He is a CIA consort in sleep and in day dreams.
Pentagon not being astute and dragging the decision making process under their feet is glaring, at this critical juncture.

Crisis of Expansion of Old Age People
Provided Third World War or a more destructive Viral Pandemic would not intervene to disrupt the intended projection.
I prefer a pandemic to war for stabilization of global population.
Number one with more urbanization Birth Rate is going down globally except in India and Africa.
Number two with relative advance in access to money and services more and more people are living to old age to eighties and some up to nineties.
Number three is more and more alcohol is consumed globally and there is relative increase of dementia and some may even become Presidents of leading countries.
As for Ceylon going by the cell cycle events, the old age starts at the age of 30 (alcohol consumption damages more brain cells than normal senescence) and by default anybody (assuming they are demented by default) over the age of 55 (age of eligibility for pension in this country) should NOT be allowed to contest for the post of presidency.
They are spent force by the age of 60 and not worth holding the post of commander in chief of Army, Navy and Air Force.
They should be given a jack up of his or her pension by about Rs.10,000/= so that they would be able to keep paying the debts the owe, in small installments at advancing age.
That is the reality.
If possible they should be given a ration of Pol Arrakku on weekly basis on a Ration Book (the rate the price of alcohol going up is phenomenal).
By the way, alcohol is a ready made energy source, much more powerful than a piece of bread without Pol Sambol.
My discovery is China's population shrinks to 1 billion mainly due to abortions.
The India's population is going up to 2 billion without a proper population policy with more Muslims born everyday and rivalling the Middle East by a big margin.
Nigeria will be rivalling for the third place with USA, the population declining, mainly due to faulty Coronavirus Policy.
The interesting insight is UK will have a drastic negative growth and disappear from the field of military contribution to any war front, in a decade or so.
UK will have 80% over the age of 70 and 90% of the GDP is spent on them as pensions (not increased as promised in April by PM Boris Johnson) and they won't be able to subsidize the under 5s or preschool children anymore, especially the recent immigrants.
Labour also will fail due to its too, rapid modernization and succumbing to EU Mania.
This is true of Russia and they cannot raise an army to fight a war with even Afghanistan in another 30 years.
For Ukraine they are devoid of any army since everybody who emigrated (females) would not return and most of the productive males conscribed to the war of attrition will not have eligible partners, left after the war devastation.
As for Russia, if they do not finish the war in Ukraine NOE, they have a very old army that will only depend on artillery fire and the soldiers will ONLY be able work as support drivers.
They are to old even to lift a rifle.
So my analysis, that is why President Putin started the war now instead of waiting for his successor.
The person who will succeed President Putin would be a very old guy (unless Putin does mobilize war footing and recruit young guys NOW to army.
This world will have old people over 70 or 80 by the next 20 years and only India and Nigeria will have young guys for mobilization in war.
Beware India in this scenario and they will outgun China by 1 to 2 ratio.
Africa I do not want to comment but the war mongering Muslim allies and rival Christian groups will go on for ever.
In another 30 years India will outnumber all other countries on fossil fuels use and hunger and famine will be the order of the day due to devastation of biodiversity by global warming scenario.
Most of India will be like Sahara desert.
Are we ready for this scenario?

Predicament - World War III
I am reproducing an introduction by Reverend Nyanaponika made in 1962 to the book of "The Heart of Buddhist Meditation".
It is relevant today with an impending world crisis, perhaps a war of attrition or the World War III.
In the present era after two world wars, history seems to repeat its lessons with a voice more audible than ever, because the turbulence and suffering that alas, are generally equivalent with political history, affect increasingly lager section of mankind, directly and indirectly.
Yet, it does not appear that these lessons have been learned any better than before.
To a thoughtful mind, more gripping and heart rending than all the numerous single facts of suffering produced by recent history, is the uncanny and tragic monotony of behaviour that prompts mankind to prepare again for a new bout of that raving war.
The same old mechanism is at work again:
the interaction of greed and fear.
Lust for power or desire to dominate are barely the instruments of destruction.
Fear, however, is not very reliable brake on man's impulses and it constantly poisons the atmosphere by creating a feeling of frustration which again will fan the fires of hate.

5 Laws of Human Stupidity
By Carlo M Capolla in 1976.
Study History of Economics.
1. Always and invariably everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.
They are very common in every walk of life.
2. The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristics of that person.
There are stupid Nobel prize winners.
3. A stupid person is a person who always causes losses to another person or a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.
Typical example is any Ceylonese who becomes or aspire to become the President of Ceylon with the help of absolutely stupid electorate.
4. Non stupid people always underestimates the damaging power of the stupid people in particular, and non stupid individuals constantly forget that all times and places and under any circumstances to lead and/or associate with stupid people always turn out to be a costly mistake.
Good example is the duo of Wirawansa and Holman Pila or better known as Gonman Pila.
5. The stupid person is more dangerous than a pillager.
He goes onto categorize four groups on two scales on x and y axis on benefits to oneself and others.
1. Intelligent people are the ones who act to benefit oneself and others.
2. Bandits are the ones who deprive others of any gain and pockets everything to their pockets.
The politicians of all shades fall into bandit group.
My convention European Economic Commission falls into the bandits group and it's ally NATO singing the bandwagon.
3. The third group is the one who benefits the others but with no gain to (benefit provider) self.
They are the naive guys who are often taken advantage of.
The fourth and the most dangerous are the ones who deprive themselves of benefits and others.
They actually are the most boisterous of all.
They are the ones who fall into the 3rd Law of Stupidity.
The actual estimate of them are the same, irrespective of class, race, ethnicity, country, social order or any other measurable criteria.
Mind you every one of us has little bit of this stupidity in economic sense.
Absence of stupidity does not make one intelligent.
This guy was an economic major.
This Italian guy prudently avoid using feminine gender when describing stupidity, fearing of course the collapse of the institution called family or marriage.
Good on him.
Could the God be considered stupid creating white, black and brown people on this planet to fight each other on daily basis.

China Syndrome
I was intrigued by the fact that why China is currently Communist and is resistant to Buddhism.
I have found the answer.
Their religion was drug intoxication from ancient times.
MaO Tse Tung killed at least 3 millions to arrest this pan-drug-addiction syndrome and made a Vasal State.
The Chinese are known for herbal medicine.
In their quest for plant medicine they discovered addictive psychoactive drugs.
Manna Mushroom is one of them.
The story of South America is similar and they have more variants including ayauriska (spelling wrong).
The problem is meditators (try to induce endogenous relaxants), alcoholics (temporary euphoria and later toxicity) and drugs addicts from Afghanistan (opioids), all fall into same to the same boat.
ADDICTION.
I have gone into detail how meditators end up with strokes and the latest was one of my classmates who died within 6 months is meditation practice.
Let me dish out a small passage from a book I never read but fished out from the attic few days ago.
Since the early days of humankind chemical substances have been available when consumed, alter some kind of behaviour or experience.
Often the effects are powerful and mysterious that the substances that produced these were incorporated into religious rituals of the society.
The power of these substances took on mystical qualities of their own.
Read also Philadelphia Experiment.
In other words, almost all religions originated from this fantasy.
Buddhism as it practiced today is no different.
I have introduced this subject briefly in my book "Charms of Alcohol" at Amazon Books.

Tactics of War of Attrition
I am using management technics of "General Use" for "War Tactics".
It is no different in Private Hospital Care.
I am not a War Tactician at all but I am a strategic thinker in Hospital Management.
In hospital illness is an incidence and death is catastrophe.
More illness we have better it is for the private hospital industry and death is gain for ONLY the undertaker.
But we think strategically and keep patients in long term intensive care.
Intensive care is a money spinner for Hospital Industry and no different to the Military Industrial Complex.
Directly and indirectly War is good for intensive care industry.
A dead soldier is no use to the hospital industry but a young viable casualty is an asset.
Problem is people do not understand these principles but taught a misguided tale that living in a hospital bed is an honour and cadaver in a coffin has no monitory value.
I come as a after the fact, postmortem guy and look at death not as a single event but a compendium of secret or hidden knowledge.
In war death is gain for one side and catastrophe for the opposition.
1. First point is gathering intelligence or valuable data leading to the data point of illness.
In battle field, it is the preliminary survey of the ground reality.
2. In hospital industry keeping the victim going on even with a saline drip and the blood pressure and the blood flow to vital organs intact, is of paramount importance.
Blood and Plasma do the prolonging of life.
In war it is keeping the vital supply line open and hiding and consolidating, the strategic defense positions (from harm from the enemy).
3. The most important of all is the manpower available.
It is mobilizing the extended family of the patient to procure as much money as possible by keeping the moribund guy on a ventilator.
Amplify the story to best advantage in spite of heavy losses in the battlefield is the motive.
Faking news items is the only way to survive.
4. Fourth point is market saturation and inability of the first responders to respond to a given task.
In war it is War of Attrition and supple lines unable to keep pace in the face breakdowns.
The supply line holdup is the new term in town.
America cannot even provide baby foods!
I think this is already happening in USA and when the first tranche is finished, then the America and EU have no second tranche in stock.
Build in America is still on the pipeline and Ukraine has to prolong it efforts through Poland until America vitalizes it's depleted war machine.
I prefer to die at home with family around me and prefer not to hear any sounds of monitors ticking by with so many tubes attached to me.
I hate a tube going through my penis and a prefer a suprapubic tap, if the bladder is full and that is also only twice not more.
I am ready to kick the bucket when the time is right and "hide a ride" in the next round of birth.
No idea of going to heaven or hell.
I nearly kicked the bucket to Moderna vaccine with myocarditis.
5. Fifth point is Witness and Record accurately, in all the BHTs (bed head tickets), all inputs for the account branch to make a fat bill at the end of the stay, death or discharge to a free or government hospital.
Thank God we have government hospitals to absorb the overflow which America and Ukraine do not have (field hospitals put during coronavirus is an example).
In war, it is mobilizing the soldiers and especially mobilizing the family members to support the killing or getting killed by any means.
There is no insurance cover at the time of war and if there is any insurance cover, it is all over in three months of protracted war.
Only solution is to become a ready made refuge both economic and real.
This happened in Ukraine in the first four weeks and nobody is returning and Poland is taking the direct punch.
The modus operandum in here is social media cuts and giving false hope and cooking up false narratives for the CNN and Fox News in USA and RTA in Russia.
BBC is only an alley and alibi.
World War III or My View, An Objective Point of View
World War III or My View, An Objective Point of View
I have little data left in my dialog USB Stick and thought of making a brief entry here.
I am not an expert on wars and I have no understanding of World War I and II.
I was born after World War II and I want to die during a peaceful time and not during a war of attrition or a destructive World War III.
We in Ceylon had 33 year of internal war of attrition and we now are paying the price with hunger.
It is no doubt that even without a war, lot of kids are dying of hunger in this world and the UNO or WHO cannot stem it.
My Theory of World War III.
1. I am pretty sure Russia is mindful and want start the World War III.
Russia has checks and balances and luckily we have a guy who is not a military man but an astute politician called Putin.
2. Then we have a Mad Man and a Joker (I am sorry Ukrainians have elevated this guy to mayhem).
He wants more and more war material to destroy Russia and has become a Proxy of CIA and Military Industrial Complex.
3. European Commission that was commissioned to avoid the World War III has put their Proxy-Poland to help Ukrainians from behind or from West.
Scott Ritter has a good analysis of this War of prolonged attrition and one is advised to see it, before Google put it down.
My intention here is to touch the points he missed in a lighter vein.
4. Third World War will start not in Taiwan but in a place like Iran, Pakistan, Myanmar or North Korea.
Certainly not in India and China cannot find a plausible cause to initiate it.
It also cannot monitor peace in the world for its economic growth.
China may be supplying war material to smaller countries in Africa so when they go bankrupt like in Ceylon, they will then purchase the land assets like in Hambantota port.
5. America cannot start it even though the MIC wants it desperately, since the declaration of War is controlled by many branches of its War assets.
CIA alone cannot.
Pentagon does not have the inclination.
All institutions starting with the words National and Defense, NSA, DSA and many more arms, cannot even think of War without the bipartisan support in the Senate.
So CIA use Ukraine as a Proxy-War machine (PWM for short).
6. It is very easy to start a war but it is very difficult to to end it.
7. This is where stupidity of Poland is showing.
Tell me whence Poland has won a war in history.
NEVER.
The Poland entry now is to acquire its lost possession in the past to Ukraine.
It will end in breaking of Poland to parts like Yugoslavia in the past.
Already Ukraine is divided into two like in Korea many more would be possible due to rivers going through its massive land extend.
So my point is the World War III will start in a very small place who possess Nuclear War heads not in Russia.
Americans attempt to put nuclear war heads on the borders of Russia in Ukraine will come to none at the end of prolonged attrition.
As it is, the Sixth extinction of the planet is on course due to our obsession to fossil fuels.
Man will destroy the planet by the World War III but the planet will start its next round of evolution no sooner the War is over and Mankind's extinction from this planet accomplished.
The Mighty God who created man is guilty on the first count and he should have had the wisdom to think twice before creating man on this earth.
By the way, Ukraine War is perceived by two sectors of the Church one Catholic and the other Orthodox.
This is why I call, all religions are like incurable brain viruses, with no possible treatment available.

Phobias and ophidiophobia
I thought of writing a book on phobias and there is not a lot of terminology to fill a book.
So I have to start with dentist phobia.
I do not fear the dentist but I fear his drill and like a snake I cannot stand vibrations.
Snakes can detect vibration of humans footsteps 20 feet away and they are gone even before one step out of the door.
I lived with a giant cobra in my official quarters as a DMO which I used to call as the reincarnation of the former DMO.
I do not fear cockroaches or insects but I hate mosquitoes.
I can tolerate their bite but hate their music.
I have trained my ears to hear soft cardiac murmurs that are not audible unless amplified by a simple tubing system called a stethoscope.
I have given my cardiac stethoscope to a practising doctor since I have said goodbye to diagnostics for good but keep a spare, just for posterity.
Ophidiophobia is fearing snakes.
I have lived around all types of snakes in Galagedera where T.B.and Thamara Illangaratne cut their political and literary teeth.
I have killed a young cobra even before I was three years old and another innocent water snake when I was about 8 years and vowed not to kill any animal but killed a rat in rage and several toads (gased by chloroform) while doing Advanced Level practicals.
I respect all cockroaches but accidentally trampled one today and hence this piece and the cockroach is my evolutionary illuminary or friend who has outlived even dinasaures.
I hate Chinese who even eat cockroaches, who are the biggest danger to mother earth, apart from their contribution to global warming.
Every Chinese dying of Coronavirus is a blessing for the well-being of the planet earth.
If is not Russia we have to fear but China's global expansion in many fields.
Coming back to my phobia of snakes is a new phenomenon.
During the last three years I have encountered three large cobras and one I touched accidentally fetching the morning post.
That did not bother me but the giant cobra behind my back resting on a parapet wall in front of the big fish tank was a near miss.
Fellow had come looking for frogs and my fish tank is the main attraction of all frogs and toads.
Even the long tail of the chameleon provokes fear of snakes now.
MugaMaruwa or Ceylon krait, I touched accidentally, nearly killed our dog.
I have found a plant with pungent smell to repel them but the fear lingers on.
Hence the reason for writing a book on phobias.
Phylogenetic Tree
I have lot of books in many fields including,Science, Biology, Linux, Buddhism and lot of dictionaries.
.
1. I love Linux.
Even though, it's kernel is of several million lines of coding BUT with about 10 commands, I can get to what I want to explore in Linux.
With my favourite Debian and with LibreOffice, I can finish writing a book in 3 days.
This is not so with other utilities.
2. Dhamma inherits it's words in Pali and with a Pali Dictionary in hand I can attempt to understand the meaning in Pali.
By the way, some modern Buddhist monks have made a mockery of Dhamma interpretation, that vary from a monk to a monk.
I follow only Satipattana and 37 Bhodhipakkariyadhammas.
That's it.
In Dhamma there is meaning (atta), condition or law (dhamma), etymology (nirutti) and understanding (patibhana).
They are collectively called Patisambhida.
3. I hate all languages especially French since the syntax of which is confusing and spoken language is dissimilar varying from person to person.
I am only interested in reading a texts in French not speaking it except for greeting someone nicely.
It is as pleasant language in that sense, unlike German or English.
English has borrowed so many words from other languages.
When I started learning French at the age of 55, I thought all what I need is a basic text and a good dictionary but I was proven wrong.
By the way, I sat GCE (O) Level and had a pass in French and a distinction in English, well past 55 years.
4. I hate psychology by default.
One day I browsed a dictionary of psychology and found it has more words than all the words combined, in three subjects of mathematics, physics and chemistry.
No wonder psychologist commit suicide more often than a radiologist or a pathologist who sees, the things in perspective, instead of attaching any significance or bondage or emotion.
Bit of dry sense and bare bone medicine has not being inspiring to me.
A radiologist sees a shadow of an object and pathologist sees it after the fact or death.
Both professions may point these findings to a disease process or more but have no clinical responsibility to treat the living or consoling the dead, unless, it is a case of murder when a forensic guy takes over.
In other words psychologists are entangled in their own cooked up terminology with no meaning to the subject in suffering, they are trying to treat.
They poor subject is dosed up with a drug ultimately and with no escape.
So it is better NOT to have a language or have a primitive pidgin language for communication.
I think prehistoric man never had psychological disease but fear of some sort to a real situation at hand was their problem, for example lightening, thunder or inclement weather.
All religions have not answered this basic fear but has added another layer of confusion and many more words.
I was looking for as diagram showing phylogenetic tree of evolution on this planet from all my biology books and I could not find anything worthwhile.
I used Google search engine and found a link to Wikipedia but the entry was in bits and pieces.
My current interest is how the brain developed from monkeys to apes to human and even the embryology book, I bought has very limited entry on brain and it's development.
There is something wrong in the teaching of science globally including medicine.
They are inundated with massive knowledge base.
It is not limited to psychology.
I have decided to a write few books under 100 pages starting with clouds formation physics, lightening, phobias, mind and rebirth.
But power cuts are hindering my efforts.
So cellphone has come to my rescue and diffuse the pent up pressure due to no gas and no electricity.
Hunger I have decided to stomach but not mental boredom.

Purity and impurity depends on oneself
By oneself is evil done by oneself is one defiled.
By oneself is evil undone by oneself one is purified.
Purity and impurity depends on oneself.
No one purifies another.

It is very difficult to answer this question either in positive or negative sense.
BUT;
I will start with the negatives.
1. He was not a philosopher and Buddhism is not a philosophy.
2. He was not a scientific scholar.
The science and technology were not his domain.
In fact, it was a bane by his subtle insinuations of scientific goals which are by nature local or global in nature and not absolutes truths.
In fact, rational investigating mind is a hindrance to mental awakening, which he prescribed for understanding of the uncertainty or the unsatisfactoriness of the greed, ignorance and selfishness within every human being.
What it means is basic understanding of nature is OK but looking for absolutes is a vain exercise of no use except of temporary benefit.
3. He did not proclaim a rigid dogma of God and a Creator of the Universe.
He was part of the cosmos and all living beings are part of this cosmos and not outside (this cosmos).
Simply put God is outside of this cosmos and the God is not part of it (in literal sense, he cannot exist on his or her own domain apart from becoming part of the cosmos).
The god is only a clumsy and flimsy human creation with no substance at all.
Coming to positive side of Buddha's teaching he was one of us and was a perfect human being.
1. He lived in the present moment (of mind and associated mental formations of infinite variegation) not in the past or in the future tense.
No two human beings are alike and no two thought moments are alike.
2. He was a born environmentalist and lived all his enlightened life (except the rainy season) under a tree and not away from the nature.
3. He gave equal opportunity to all living beings and a wild cat living on another living being for survival was not an antithesis.
In other words, wild cats were born of their own karmic exposition and escape from that predicament is possible at the time of patisandhi citta or linking to the next life.
It is not eternal hell but escape is possible from animal kingdom to a better life BUT not being born again is his ONLY goal to eternity.
It is not a Void but a Signless existence of eqanimity.
4. It is an individual responsibility of each and every individual to seek for his or her own salvation of the inescapable "human suffering and bonding".
I have exluded some difficult areas of Pali rendering and unfortunately English is inadequate to explain the *Wisdom of Buddha* I have put the conceptual framework of Buddha's thinking would have been.
By the way, I do not claim I understand all of them clearly.
Do not hang on to Kalama Sutta and questioning the Kalama Sutta itself, is the entry point to Enlightenment.
Buddha was never a saviour of humanity but who showed the way of compassion, boundless kindness, sympathetic joy and above all equanimity.
In his world there is no ground for Killing and War whether due to ideology or religious sects or humiliation of a different faith or sector.
Religion by all means a Brain Virus.

Skin Colour, White Supremacy and Church Mythology
Skin Pigmentation and Amyloid are my favourite pathological topics.
I will dispense with Amyloid and Mad Cow Disease briefly.
Meat or specifically beef and it's products leads to remodelling of protein molecules in the brain that appear like an infection but which is not.
Brain lacks the proteases to breakdown abnormal proteins and hence leads to accumulation of abnormal proteins and glycoprotein byproducts and early onset dementia.
The real biochemistry is much complicated and I will leave it at that.
Coming to white skin, is also, a lack of enzyme in melanasome melanization process.
It is an inferiority complex of the enzyme system, that lacks in white (not brown skin) skinned people who end up with sunburn and squamous carcinoma when migrated to Australia from the West.
I haven't got a clue to why white men and women migrated to northern hemisphere but my guess work is early childhood melanoma and malignant melanoma that killed host of early white skinned civilizations in the tropics.
White men probably originated in Ethiopia to begin with and later mixing with Asians ameliorated this tendency of carcinogenesis.
Sun rays are the most powerful carcinogenic agent on this planet.
I pity the wealthy white guys who piggyback on Elon Musk.
If they get brain melanoma he is culpable.
Squamous carcinoma is a very slow protracted illness but malignant melanoma is aggressive and death ensues in a shorter framework of less than two years.
So brown people should be happy that they have some form of protection but not the so called pure whites.
Pure whites is a mythology brought forwards by the Church and even the English Royal Family has black pigment inheritance.
This is besides the haemophilia in the Royal family.
The Germanic or German connection is an accident in history.
There are NO pure whites left on this planet.
It is a mythology.
My reason for writing this is even the Harrison's Textbook of medicine editors bowed down to the pressure from the Church and stop publishing the chapter on pigmentation, to which Pope was very supportive.
I stopped buying the textbook of medicine by Harrison's from that point of time in mid eighties.
My point is this.
Why the mighty god in his wisdom did not prevent this evolutionary Discrimination Plot so that this planet would have been peaceful for ever.
The current war in Ukraine is between two sections of the Christianity.
One orthodox Russian Church and the other the Unity or the Catholic Church to which CIA agency is fueling oil for over 70 or 80 years, so that American War machine can survive.
But unfortunately they have met the Russian Bear who has spined a Nazi conspiracy theory for world consumption.
What an outcome in the 21st century politics?
