I have travelled from Northern Hemispre to Southern Hemisphere to spread my lies.
The air ticket was bought from my own money.
The difference was the tickets were standard and cheap.
Nobody travelled by Businesses Class.
I landed in United Kingdom on a cold night towards the end of a long drawn out Miner's Strike. Strangely I got my first job in Barnsley having done my Elective under Dr. Jivani who was an African Indian expelled by Idi Amin.
Kurian a Karnataka guy was my Co-House officer. He stripped me to my underwear in front of my nurses.
Sadly he is no more.
He came from a rich family and I believe his life style did not fit in with UK.
In the hospital I was offered chocolates liberally.
I flatly refused.
We suck these seeds with our saliva and then the seeds mature but the dangerous part is one also contract Infectious Hepatitis.
All big lies.
I put them off completely while having a stock of al Swiss Chocolates in my room.
Finally after 3 months I was detected and caught in brought day light in Sheffield Streets.
I was caught lying and we have a hearty laugh.
Why did you believe me in the first place was my counterargument.
Unlike stripping me that subtle humour lated my entire stay in England.
Of course, I graduated to Liquerized chocolates until late in Ceylon when I stopped drinking completely
Partly due to Mangala Samaraweera raising Taxes on alcohol.
My protest:
I drink alcohol and not taxes.
For very good reasons I left UK never to return.
Coming to New Zealand, I was illtreated by a Singaporean Chinese woman. She deliberately delayed my VISA. I went to UK and demanded my VISA since I had a confirmed Job Offer covering duties of 3 equivalent New Zealand doctors. The woman in UK put my VISA on the Old Passport deliberately.
I was the last one cleared out of the airport.
2 hours and 45 minutes I waited patiently.
New Zealanders are lazy and work only 40 hours whereas I worked 82 hours on a single weekend.
I threatened to take legal action.
I was adequately compensated.
To supplemented my salary I used to work as doctor in attendance in local horse races which I enjoyed a lot.
A guy who worked in British Home Stores was my CEO. He had no idea how to run a clinic let alone a hospital. I need not mention his name but it sounded Buffalo Meat.
I missed Pension Rights due to that Chinese woman's tactical delay and I did not overstay my VISA by even a single day.
To close the story I played the same chocolates story with New Zealand nurses over 4 months. They were not smart enough to catch me.
I beared the chocolate story not to nurses but to guys and girls lost their jobs just before I joined in. While having tea I used to listen to their stories One of them had 8 kids..
The rechenment was crude at the age of 50.
There was a kid who used to come behind my daughter and she had adequate chocolates to share.
One of the saleswomen stole the Digital Dictionary I bought for my daughter.
I did not get it back but she lost the job.
Unlike British nurses New Zealand nurses are a tough lot and reliable. They however lack the subtle humour of the British ladies. They (British) were smart enough to catch me in broad day light.
I lated 8 years in UK but only 2 years in New Zealand.
I was back in Ceylon and joined the university and worked untill 66 years.
16 years more than an average New Zealander.
That is why I call New Zealanders are basically Lazy.
By the way, New Zealand had only 2 types of Wine and they are not comparable to French Wines
I do not know how many types of Wine British had. They were mostly imported varities.
They are basically Beer Drinkers.
Sparkling Wines were hitting the domestic market when I was about to leave UK.
