It has tons of applications preinstalled and I have to add only, AbiWord, Audacity and Blender on top.
Infact, I have two instances Installed
One is Desktop Pro and the other Developer Version.
All the rest including Tuxedo, Pop OS are only Window Dressing on top of the Display Manager.
Tuxedo OS miserably failed on my NUC.
It could not coexist with mulitudr of other Linux Distributions.
Please Do not use Tuxedo even if you have NVIDIA graphic card. It may ruin your card by overt or covert action.
I am currently, installing KDE Neon User 6.5 Version, I believe and I have several partitions left without a reliable distribution to try.
I would have multiple instances of BlueStar Linux.
I have discarded CachyOS but but may consider using REBORN OS GNOME for a change.
As I already, that I have 4 partitios left two is for /boot partitions.
I have two left.
Is it for Tuxedo?
NO.
I would go for Elementary OS 8.1.
One has to pay Like Elive to get the image.
One wise guy in the Web suggested add 00 and you would get the Free Download of 8.1 Iso Image.
I have only one Old Patriot USB of under 4GB and this image is 3.3GB and bet only the Dedktop and one has to pay for their so called curated applications.
It is Pantheon and I already have Pantheon dedktop under BIG Linux.
Installation attempt was a failure.
It is UBUNTU based on that ground alone one should reject it.
UBUNTU and Elementary OS leavr YOU astray.
It took the Entire Display and could not mount my 40 partition on the screen.
I tried to reduce its size failed.
I could only mount EFI, /root and one SWAP. I could not find a button to say Start INSTALL.
What a distribution to try?
If it like that for guy like me it is a Total Nightmare for a newbie.
Please do not try.
I might try Tuxedo OS, instead since it is now based on Debian, wisely.
Neon User is another Option.
I haven't tried Parrot OS Home Edition for a long time.
I am downloading them using Torrent.
I'll be back soon.
So if you are looking for some elegant KDE Desktops GO For BIG Linux.
By the way, unlike Debian one can install one Desktop and not multiples as in Debian
Elementary OS image is in a USB.
I am going to boot now and wait for my Penultimate Report.
By the way, Calamares distribution independent INSTALLER is pretty good and UBUNTU guys are missing a lot.
