Linux Lite vs Bodhi Linux

Linux Lite version 8 is out.
It is no longer UBUNTU based.
That is a good decidion dinvr UBUNTU is going rogue.
Instaler is not Ubuntu but Calamara.
It has expanded im size and cannot claim the medal for lightest which Bodhi Linux holds.
Bodhi Linux
Image size is almost half 1.5 to 2.3 depending on the Image.
1  to 2GB RAM is adequate

Linux Light start from 2.3 and may go upto 3.0. It needs 4GB RAM.
I did not try to Install it.
It uses XFCE which I hate and uses more resources than Mokha Dedktop. However, I Iinstalled Gnome using Synaptic Package Manager.
Linux Lite has proprietary software but may be still supporting Synaptic Package Manager.
Bodhi Linux ruined my GRUB but I believe Linux Lite with Calamara Installer would have a better GRUB. If you are like me having several distributions my recommendation is Linux Lite. I keep Bodhi since it gives me the old UBUNTU feel.

By the way, AntiX and Puppy Linux even though functional use Window Managers instead of a standard desktop.
