Reasons.
1. I can have upto 8 distributions in Total.
2. I am installing them for Testing only. Not as daily drivers. The installation is easy.
3. I would have at least two instances of Debian. One Daily Driver and the other Testing.
Debian
Pearl Linux
KDE Neon User
PCLinux Dark Star
AV Linux
GNOPPIX
BlueStar Linux
REBORN OS
Debian Testing
Only 20 Partitions.
I made a mistake of allocating /boot partition less than 500MB and after finishing instslling 8 other distributions it did not boot. It was not the EFI partition.
I Guess after rewriting a 8 times /boot partition got currupted. Red Warning was there but I could not read it due fast booting.
All the other distributions including Testing Debian instance booted OK with WiFi configured. It was looking for Ethernet Connection which my NUC does not have. There was no Wireless Option to configure which I tried several times.
Well I am Installing it again having redistributed enough space for each partition.
I may have problems with UPDATES.
Then, I would reinstall the New Image.
This is all done in One Night.
No hastle.
My assumption 20GB is enough for a basic installation.
Only DEBIAN GNOME proper got 70GB.
Testing Debian got only 23GB.
Having an assortment of USB sticks with various distributions saved me from NASTY and RUDE destructive force of Pear Linux. I do not HATE it but I would never recommend it to any SOUL on this Planet. Worse than Zorin OS.
I am almost finishing but added most beautiful KDE dedktop of BlueStar Linux to my repertoire.
