Linux Lite

Well I decided to Install Linux Lite on top of  one of my Gnome, instances. It went on smoothly.

I love the mouse of Xfce Desktop but I prbably will install gnomne in a matter of few minutes.

Linux Lite

It is nearly one year that made a scathing remark on Linux Lite due to its hasty release with major problems with the GRUB Boot Loader.

These Linux Developer guys takes to heart any comment good or bad and work on those problems with out a commercial base supporting them. But Unlike Redhat and Suse, they come out with workable solutions.

There latest release is remarkably good.

I have no hesitation of recommending it, since Ubuntu Commercial Guys are abandoning its base and going for stuff like closed containers.

Plus points

1. Unlike Gnome Base it has all the application one need at the beginning.

2. Its package Manger is Synaptic Package Manager and Debian has an enormous repository.

3. Installer is Ubuntu Installer not Calamara (distribution independent) which is very SLOW.

4.  Image is 3.1GB and it has LinuxTracker feed.

5. Like Arch derivatives it has all the help and instruction while installing.
