Indexing Utility may be useful for small database.

I have said enough about bulky Office packs here.

Can edit pdf files.
I have not tried.
I am ditching LibreOffice
I have may tools in Linux to deal with pdf files.
9. Win toys
For Windows user.
I have ditched windows 30 years ago.
10. Mint Operating System
This is Linux distribution on Cinnamon desktop bloated with proprietary software and I ditched it 20 years ago.
11. I would run my NUC with Debian on a small /root partition of 16GB and a /home partition of 1GB.
I am going to ditch all Linux images except 30 Puppy Linux derivatives, Elive and Manjaro an Netrunner.
I have ditched Antix and its derivative MX Linux due to their paranoia about Encrypting the file system.
Open software opened with Open and Free Mind to begin with and it is not yet Closed Source.
