Pinguy Linux Should Asserting Itself

Pinguy Linux Should Asserting Itself
Pimguy Linux was one of the best and a favorite of mine.
It stopped innovation simply due to Ubuntu's bold decisions to change its desktop.
It had the appeal of the Apple MaC OS.
Not any more.
I went through my archive of Linux images and only three distributions has the capability and light weigh to mount netooks.
Number one is Peppermint.
Number two is Pinguy 11.04/
Number three is an Ubuntu derivative EeePee or something similar.
Notable exception is KNOPPIX, even the CD version cannot.
Puppy Derivatives are there and I mount them on a SD Card but one may have to format the Card with ex2 or ex4 files.
Pinguy should go to Debian base.
MIND you even Debian is forking on INIT issue over systemd,
