I am fast forgetting names.
It took almost 6 months to remember the name of Professor Jayasena.
He was second in command to Professor Senaka Bible.
I still forget the name of the first supermarket chain started by IMMI in Digana.
It is Cornel's Supermarket, started by Cornel Perera.
I found the name browsing the Web.
A guy made a comment in the Web.
Digana Village complex has gone into derelict and no more Cornel Supermarket, there. It is taken over by Ceylon Cinemas and, I believe only guys with prostitutes now come there.
It was for entire family with a Swimming Pool and a Tennis Court.
I only loved the Billiards Table.
I did not have a big room in our house and if I did have I would have brought the Billiards Table home.
There were 3 English Bookshops in Colombo.
1. Cargills Bookshop
2. Millers Bookshop
3. Caves Bookshop
All were started by British entrepreneurs.
Lake House Bookshop came much later.
Then there was All Ceylon Bookshop at Dam Street, in Colombo run by a Jaffna Gentleman.
