MX Linux (25) Update

I have tested and installed MX Linux beta stage to present stage, three times and I a sorry to say, it is disappointing, to say the least.

There are many but I won't list them.

I think, in the rush to publish it they cut corners.

To begin with the Repository in New Zealand is faulty.

I am sorry New Zealand,  I worked there in 1990s, and I was about to buy my first computer but my wife stopped just in time. I used to read all the computer news (newspapers, then) and was involved in Linking all the hospitals using UNIX.

Basic problem is it is trying to develop its own package management system which does not work as it used to be.

Thankfully, it has Synaptic Package Management System, and I tried using the Australian repository and things did not tie together, there even.

I tried Gnome on top and it di not work.

I am ditching it to AntiX 25 beta from which MX Linux originated.

AntiX comes from from Greece.

I would report to you soon.

AntiX failed on the third attempt.

Tried boot repair using Control Centet but that did not help.

I even tried KIRO Linux that comes from Belgium which is horrible.

Bodhi Linux was an utter failure.

I am on holiday mood and try other options get AntiX running, so that I can give a feedback while recording those events in my book.

It is godsend and a useful delay that wad warranted.

I added 100 more pages making it 500 pages in total.

Final UPDATE.

Problem was with the New Zealand repository.

I got Gnome running on top of KDE which had been a long term problem in Linux.

KDE is a Desktop and not an Operating System.

Linux guys and girls always sort out problems in due course. That is there habitat. I report problems not as bugs. The CODE belongs to Linus Torvald and he does a good job.

Apart from Dedktops and Applications, this is the first time I found a Repository at fault.

Automation without cross checking is dangerous.

I think AI is at fault and automation with PYTHON can have missteps.
