Basically, I wanted to test the size of Gnome Desktop.
By using Gnoppix the estimate it little over 500MB.
By using Majaro is even less.
I installed Gnome first and then KDE.
But I could not mount the first instance.
Unlike Debian Gnome two instances of MANJARO (Gnome and KDE) cannot coexist in the same hard disk.
I do not know why but with some tricks I can get REBORN OS to have two instances but it is tricky.
Of course one can install KDE on top of GNOME and vice versa.
Well I got to install REBORN and get full use of the hard disk. KDE took 12 minutes to install but GNOME took 14 minutes.
I thought KDE would take more time.
Unfortunately, I sacrificed BlueStar Linux instance. I have to reinstall BlueStar Linux and Manjaro again. Well within half an our I am back to normal. Getting to know ARCH is a new discovery. I wpuld have preferred CachyOS to be in that list but it prefers to stay alone.
New Year, I may stop talking about Linux but keep watching on what distribution would emerge outstang.
