Linpus Linux was a Fedora Linux-based operating system created by the Taiwanese firm Linpus Technologies Inc^[1] Linpus was designed specifically to fully support the Asian market, with full Unicode support for the Chinese and Japanese languages. A special version, Linpus Lite, was written to run on devices with lower-cost hardware such as netbooks. It has both an icon and tab-based "Simple mode", designed for new users; and, a conventional style "PC mode" for those wanting a more Microsoft Windows–like interface. It is targeted at handheld devices with smaller screens, and supports resolutions as low as VGA (640 × 480).^[2]

The Acer Aspire One and Norhtec Gecko^[3] netbooks come with Linpus Lite Linux pre-installed, there is also a version of the Acer Revo 3610 and 3700 with Linpus Linux pre-installed.

A version for normal desktop computers and servers is also available, as well as a Multimedia version called Linpus Media Center. The Media Center version offers an "Upgrade pack" to purchase patent licenses from MPEG-LA for DVD, MP3, WMV and a few other codecs.

The Linpus system contains not only the free and open source operating system, but also Acer-specific "shareware" – users classify this as "nagware," because it asks you to register on Acer's website and purchase a full version.^{[citation needed]} The fact that the Acer distribution contains this software prevents the system from being considered a fully free, open operating system

Darryl Anka says he saw an aliens craft of triangular shape in, 1973. Later, he became a channeller through Bashar in around 2014. 

I had some interest in Ceylonese who were involved in Medium and Channelers and Chantersin Ceylon who made a fast buck, in a particular time. 

I accidentally read a book on Edgar Cacye (1877–1945). He was an American clairvoyant and faith healer known as the "Sleeping Prophet". While in a trance state, he provided more than 14,000 readings diagnosing illnesses, discussing past lives and making prophecies about the future.

He founded the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) and his work influenced the New Age movement. Cayce's abilities included psychic readings to identify and recommend treatments for a wide range of ailments. He discussed concepts like past lives and reincarnation, which are central to the New Age movement. Cayce also made numerous prophecies concerning future events, including the rediscovery of Atlantis and the outbreak of World War II. He would fall into a sleep like trance to give readings, a state that earned him the nickname "Sleeping Prophet".              

In 1931, Cayce and his supporters reorganised, as the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) to continue and support his work.                 

The organisation is still active, offering resources for spiritual development, wellness and continuing education. Cayce is considered a foundational figure and a principal source for many characteristic beliefs of the New Age movement.

Bashar is a channeled extraterrestrial entity from the future and Darryl Anka is the channeler who has conveyed Bashar's messages since 1983.         

Bashar offers teachings on the nature of reality, personal empowerment and spiritual evolution,      which Anka delivers through trance channeling.         

The teachings cover topics like the Law of Attraction and the idea that consciousness shapes our reality.Darryl Anka enters a trance state to channel Bashar,    an interdimensional being from a parallel, future reality. Bashar's messages provide guidance on personal growth, manifestation, and understanding of the universe.

A core concept is that reality is a reflection of our consciousness, beliefs and internal states.

A fundamental principle is to follow an individuals "highest excitement," which is the thing that brings the joy or fulfilment and the future path.       

Anka has been channeling Bashar for over 30 years and has published books, created films, and produced audio-visual materials on the topic. The discussions span a wide range of subjects including metaphysics, human psychology, planetary evolution and the nature of extraterrestrial.

I have no problem with all these which he is entitled to as a free human being. What I object to is that he is distorting Dhamma in subtle way.I even, think he is a guy who is posited by the Church to do this unhindered.

His five laws a mixture of physics and his own convoluted vocabulary.He is born with verbal diarrhoea and significant mastery in English. This talent he uses to pose him has an intellectual giant but the ulterior motive is to confuse the listener.              

 Having listened to him I have not gained any scientific substance.

In fact, it is science mixed with total fiction.

Buddhist goal is to stop this recreant life of existence in the Cycle of Rebirth or Sansara.

This is his confusion strategy.

Of course, Indian teachers try to elevate this concept to a new level. That is union with single Great Soul at the moment of death.

It does not matter that other things exist in this world independent of this so called Great Soul or Self.

The underlying attempt is to fundamentally distort of our social fabric and bind an individual to a non existing substance calledSelf.

In Dhamma the concept of Self is a great illusion that drives the inevitable Sansara.

Other things do continue to exist whether we like it or not in their own domain. There is subtle but relative freedom, which each individual can enjoy merrily. This freedom itself drives us to become firmly bound to the Concept of Self. 

That bondage expands into things around us both physical and biological.    The bondage that we have to our loved ones is natural and intimate.

This infectious bondage cannot be disregarded.

Human are social and political animals we cannot change it.

That is our biological nature.

4.  Action and action and reaction the law of physics is put in here.

There is subtle distortion of Kamma and Vipaka, here.

The cause and effect is the natural driving force.

5. Everything Changes

This is my “Uncertainty Principle” on which the Dhamma really is based on.

Thank God he stops at five.

He used the terms  like frequency and vibration to  to confuse the ordinary guys and girls without the understanding of physics at subtle level. He is putting the entire energy spectrum to his five equations.

He is using frame rate of visual phenomena into somewhat of a spiritual framework.

Let me dish out the Spectrum of Energy in which we see only the rainbow colours.

In computer technology there there are over million colour shades and the computer monitor filters  about 16 to 24 colours distinctly, for us to see. Computers can use all the analog signals and they only dish out the visual spectrum for us to see about 35 frames per second, for our convenience. The rest is dissipated as heat energy. Animals like snakes can see more of the content of the spectrum which is valuable in their survival. The problem is we put man at the center of the universe with minimal physical but with powerful mental capabilities.

I am open to the condition, that beings can exist in a wider spectrum and we call them in Buddhist or Hindu thinking  as Gods. There nothing extraordinary of those beings with the spectrum expanding to animals, demons and perhaps many more that we cannot grasp.

This guy in my reality is guy of many words without any meaning. Equally, he speaks fast and the listener cannot grasp what he  projects very very fast.  It is much less clearer to the listener, including me.

Indian Rishis do the same rigmaroles in arcane language.

He is crook that uses aliens as his vehicle.

He is using Vedanta Channelling strategy.

He is distorting even Hinduism indirectly by his insinuation.

He is crook who created this Alternative Reality and Alien Super Highway for his business model.

He is a film producer and may have created alien films for the CIA.

I was caught in this alien SAGA but ended up writing a book of satire filled book called               “Alien SAGA”.

I use this guy as  the current model not as a role model but as a shady or  a real dark model.

By the way, he is very sweet guy in his external disposition which priests in all types use to hoodwink the gullible citizens.

The YouTube and the Cellphonehas given them a big platform.

He is always taking about creation without mentioning God. He projects the God to Bashar so that Christianity is not uprooted in a full sweep. There is no problem with that and he is entitled to believe in  his God.

But, I do not like him distorting Dhamma and the basics of Buddhism in a subtle way.

He is like a CIA guy used by the Church.

In his own verbal diarrhoea he project words in Buddhism.

But he avoids Kamma by default.

Expansion and Contraction of physics.

He is pushing outPassion but in Buddhism,     we try to mitigate Passion and Greed.

He does deliberately avoid pain or suffering or the uncertainty principle of Dhamma.

He is indirectly sayingGod is the alternative reality and the God is permanent at least in the case of Bashar, his alien God.

I attacked him directly when he took Dhamma Principles out of context and put two of his Godly Concepts, in the midst.

I told him directly that he is entitled to his verbal diarrhoea  or distortion but do not distort Dhamma.

He disappeared into wilderness and Google AI is bringing him back to life.

Any guy Western or Indian gets the wrath of my onslaught, if they attack Dhamma, in a subtle way.

I have no subtle insinuation but direct approach.

This alien SAGA is CIA creation and he was the vehicle at a particular time.

My Final NOTE on BIOS Virus

 My Final NOTE on BIOS Virus 

First Let me say Thank You to Debian.

I ran two full days and the Bios Virus ridden ACER Laptop manufactured in 2017 which I bought in 2018, and now only 8 years old, did not get heated up even though, it was fully charged and was running non stop.

This is the Beauty of Linux Software consuming very little throughput.

Do not mess up with the minute and a half (90 seconds) of fsck or hardware Check Up at boot time.

 

Not only the boot script checks the devices in built but also the currently attached devices and reports a running commentary.

Read all the lines line by line.

The name of the Virus 00012201.

I asked AI and it says there is no Virus named by the above number which is a lie.

It is EEPROM Hard Ware Virus.

Electronically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory.

It is a firmware Virus not detected at the time of the manufacture.

The problem is that the BIOS is unable to handover to the Operating System. 

 

I think the Vendor in Singapore had opted to block the USB Booting and installed Windows using the DVD ROM. 

 

This was the time when set of CDs or DVDs were used for booting an OP.

I did not know this Virus existed before buying. It was cheap.

It was 35 US dollars or 50 Singapore dollars.

They tried to sell it for 100 Singapore Dollars but I offered half their claim

The Manager refused. 

Few hours before flying back to CEYLON, I went again and said I am leaving today and this is the last 50 dollars I have. 

After some deliberations they agreed without the carrier bag. I said I would give, 5 dollars for the bag and the deal was closed.

I treasure the bag more than the Laptop. Thr carrier bag was dorf of a status simble.

Those days no travel restrictions on hand luggage. One who carries Laptop was considered a professional even in Singapore. I bought a few DVDs named Linpus Linux based on Redhat Linux, created in Taiwan.

I tested them Live while waiting in the lounge, until the formal boarding was announced.

No USB booting those days. 

I used to carry Puppy Linux USBs but did not have any in my hand. 

After discovering this BIOS Virus, I used carry at least 2 Bootable USBs.

From Yesterday, I consider Debian Network Boot USB.

This is not at Mustafa. They do not sell faulty stuff those days. 

It was Rs. 7,800 or 150 US dollars a return ticket. I used to go there over weekend to buy Barbie dolls.

Coming back to the Topic;

This Virus cannot be ERASED by software.

No solution available except bypassing the BIOS using EFI. 

I did not know about the EFI.

I booted a Live BSD CD and Network Booted to BSD  home site. 

They solved the problem by installing BSD with an EFI partition.

I was REBORN.

Now we used Ethernet and it was fabulously fast unlike the WiFi of today.

This Virus insertd itself to even the Terminal. It is very NASTY.

So, the Laptop now has 10 operating systems. One for every 50GB of Hardware.

No CODING would be done on this compiter due to the BIOS Virus.

I would play games and videos.

Only ARCH Ultimate Gamer is there.

Italian Modiccia could not be installed.

GARUDA I HATE.

Commodore 3.1 can be installed but it is very Ugly with its Video Drivers. If in a later version if it adds better drivers, I may consider using it.

After all this is an old Laptop.

The bottom line is even somebody offers you a old Laptop FREE refuse it flatly.

I desperately want to go back to my WiFi keyboard which I can use from my BED with a very large Monitor.

I HATE touch screens which is unnatural.

Thank You STORM OS for two things.

It is a Light Weight Arched based distribution.

I have a copy installed in my NUC.

It has extensive instructions in text at each stage of the installation.

This is something ELive Linux should emulate. Instead giving only vocal commands with unintelligible English, it should post written instructions.

It taught me how to configure mirrors and then after installation to UPDATE.

Today, was a different story.

I installed Endevour OS after long time.

But it would not mount after installation of CachyOS as a parallel system.

Since, it was not booting I decided to install STORM on top of it. It was in a small partition of 25GB.

I usually, format the partition before new installation and won't let the distribution to do it. That was a fortunate oversight.

STORM OS wanted me to reformat the EFI which I could not with 9 other distributions already in the Laptop.

Instead, I flagged it with boot and make an entry as /boot/efi. That option was not available without clicking format option.

This figure of 8 boot virus happily insert itself at any available space.

It even gets itself in front of the MB or GB allocation. With my poor eyesight I may have missed a single digit of 8 in the /root allocation. This is the reason STORM OS may have failed to install. INSTALLER script may have seen the endless loop of no time limit and would have inserted the usual 1 minute 30 second routine scan of my system at boot time.

In fact, reverting back default.

Presto!

Endeavour OS booting OK.

I rebooted Endeavour 3 times for the Boot Loader to register the time sequence.

What a coincidence?

This has never happened before.

I was lucky.

Endeavour OS Installation

I am not sure why I neglected Endaevour OS and was mad enough to get messed up with Prism Linux.

In a way, I have Prism OS like Microsoft in the past got me charged up.

With 500GB space in the hard disk getting 10 distributions as is in my NUC was the Target.

REBORN OS did not configure the Keyboard.

Modiccia USB did not boot.

STORM OS with basic approach, I was hesitant. I learned how to UPDATE mirrors throughout STORM OS.

Endeavour KDE is very Beautiful and only BlueStar Linuix rivals it.

It may be I could not install AbiWord using Endaevour OS. I now HATE using terminal under such a beautiful Desktop.

It finshed installing in 23 minutes which is very impressive.

It now gives the option of using GNOME.

By the way, I was new to ARCH Linux and REBORN OS was the easiest to install and update and rarely any use of terminal

Thank You boys and girls of the Developer Team. It looks like the most impressive ARCH.

If I remember right it took over my NUV and would not let me install other distributions.

6.29AM and it is booting fine.

I am going to sleep now.

Well it did mess up with the GRUB.

It does not boot after CachyOS was installed.

I am erasing the partition by installing STORM OS. ARCH based and light weight.

I have copy in my NUC.

Did nor recognize already existing EFI.

It wanted to be formatted fresh which I did not. Desktop is XFCE and I could not find Iso image of the KDE.

I hope it would preserve existing GRUB.

Wanted to test ACER Laptop could handle it. Says Installation failed.

But it did something I NEVER expected.

Storm OS corrected the boot entry fir Endaevour OS.

Debian Network Install

I am proven WRONG om many issues.

That Network Install image is inferior to GNOME Image or DVD1.

Web guys are giving Dead Ropes to gullible newbies.

I am referring to the under 1GB image.

Kernel in use is 7-0.10- 14+Debian

Installation is no different to GNOME Live of DVD1

It has 1380 odd files whereas the DBD1 has 3380 odd files.

 

I choose GNOME and Web Server and SHH Server but without a Server I cannot use them on my desktop.

Currently installing to the last partition of the Laptop.

 

If problems arise I would ERASE it totally

Unlike CachyOS OS no window managers or Hypland.

I am Revisting ELive INSTALLATION on the old ACER Laptop

I installed this using a SD card mounted on USB Mount. I do not want to use 32 or 64 USB sticks. There are no 4 or 8GB sticks in Australia. I left all my USB sticks except 10 I shoved into my handbag.

Elive deliberately got the GRUB Boot Loader Wrong when installing but I know the workaround. These facts would be recorded in my book with grammar and Typo correction.

Cut and Paste is dangerous.

I know these guys for a long time from 32 bit time. During Installation they give DEAD ROPES that include Erasing the hatd disk with 0 and 1. 

I say no to all their dead ropes and do what I want to do. 

I gave my Google Email knowing very well, I had signed up with my original or the first Yahoo Mail long before Gmail.

I love its colouful Terminal.

It is SLOW compared ARCH and AV Linux Moksha Desktop but I prefer the easy pace in my old age with visual handicap especially colour blindness.

While it is testing my patience and visual handicap but my hearing is Excellent and I love music and use this distribution to listen to music. When I installed it in my NUC an year ago I listened to their old music with poor quality video (they did not have proper drivers for thr Integrated Graphic Card.

I was into Linux long before this distribution came into existence.

Nevertheless, these guys have done a Wonderful and Beautiful job.

Reaso for Install is to check with Bodhi Linux and AV Linux Moksha Desktop whicj is AntiX and MX Linux derivative.

Lat timeit took 2 and half hours and this time it is faster but I did not time it.

Thank You Elive Linux Guys and Girls and I am going to add a very favorable account in my book Linux Essentials.

By the way, Google AI is very helpful.

I  going to Network Install Debian on this Laptop soon.

My last Network Install was with TrueOS and BSD using CD in 2018 and I left all those CD and DVDs in CEYLON.

My Linux activities and Facebook activities would go on till POSON POYA or Full Moon Day. I won't go to moon even if they give me a FREE Ride.

By the way, according to Elive Clock it is more than 50 minutes and still installing.

Tried Multboot Bodhi Linux on Laptop but Failed

I tried to  multiboot Bhodhi Linux parallel with other distributions but failed. Then I tried Prism Linux ruined everything and I did not have Bootable Hard Disk.

Bodhi Linux is UBUNTU based and it has the beautiful Moksha desktop.

On first mount I prepared the Hard Disk with EFI, 20GB /root and 1GB boot and the figure of 8 still botheringme I gave SWAP partition 8888MB twicethe 4G RAM.

After initial WiFi configuration INSTALL fonished in less than 10 minutes but UPDATES as usual took a long time.

I have decided to ditch MX Linux based AV Linux Moksha.

For the 4th time it failed to boot after installation.

It violated EFI size by half.

Allocated 512 instead of 1GB required.

Boot  file was only 1MB.

Only 2 partitions

ESP

EXT4 the entire hard disk.

No SWAP a fundamental Linux Mistake.

I could not rezise the /root partition using Gparted while still remaining with the Live Session.

Nobody can I did not give enough opportunity.

Next is Installing Debian.

I have to go back to FULL install of DEBIAN Testing needing 32GB.

Debian is happy with 4GB SWAP.

DEBIAN takes 3338MB for the system.

I would  be giving up watching real UBUNTU SAGA unfolding from a sideline.

Good Bye to Bodhi Linux and UBUNTU.

I Took Big Risk With Prism Linux

With the Figure of 8 Virus constantly bothering my Old ACER Laptop doing a completly Graphical Installation with ARCH based Prism Linux was considered a prerequisite before finishing my book on "Linux Essentials".

Apart from Elevating Debian to dizzy heights, it has lot of practical stuff embedded including few of my technical mistake.

Testing Prism OS is not a mistake.

It is not good even for Tablet front.

It cannot log out.

It has no WiFi.

No WiFi means no UPDATES.

It has no software Repository.

It is a bear minimal lxQt Desktop.

That is the sunmary.

Glossy looks are deceptive as with Windows.

It was a real big risk not knowing what drivers it would use for graphics. 

I tried 8 other distributions on this laptop only two failed.

REBORN OS got the keyboard configuration wrong.

Italian Modicia won't mount the USB, most likely it is a DVD image.

Commodore Linux 3.1 has lot of music but is the Ugliest MATE Desktop.

 

Except Prism Linux all distributions including REBORN OS are installed in my NUC while the Laptop was in the attics all these time, metaphorically speaking due to no USB Booting and Figure of 8 virus compounding even typing an email address.

4 attempts at manual installation failed.

An earlier attempt RUINED the GRUB and the Hard Disk. 

This time, too.

I have never given automatic INSTALL command all my life.

I gave automatic INSTALL instruction, just for fun a few minutes ago.

It says 95% OK and stuck there in and ENDLESS Loop.

It finished the installation and the KDE cannot configure the WiFi.

I am going to try GNOME before giving up

If I cannot get WiFi link and automatic updates, I going to give up using it.

I was about to say this was good for costomers feeling the Microsoft Nose Punch.

Wait few minutes, will You.

I do not recommend it.

By the way, I cannot access the Terminal.

Not with some keyboard tricks but with some mouse clicks, I got to the Terminal.

7-0-11-lxqt kernel in progress.

It is 752MB download size.

Instal sixe 2256MB.

I can read the Terminal entry but I not cannot type any commands including EXIT.

There is a big difference between Debian and ARCH including CachyOS. 

I made about 10 mistakes due to poor eyesight and not reading instructions. Debian alerted me every time I made a mistake and let me go back and correct.

CachyOS did not say I have configured the EFI Boot loader with EXT4 file system.

So CachyOS did not boot.

I get a message in DOS style to say go and make a Boot Manger not Boot Loader.

I do not know how many cups of tea I drank but I am sleepy. Debian would install while I am in Dream Mode.

Problem 

I am using Standard USA Keyboard

Keyboard is Nuber Locked.

There is no key to unlock.

Tried All combinations but failed.

Letters under Number Keys cannot be read to enter the WiFi Password.

No Ethernet in Australia 

Solution 

Make a Laptop dedicated Iso Image.

It should have a Virtual Keyboard to mitigate this problem.

Other ARCH derivatives also should consider Virtual Keyboard.

Onlu Elive Linux Distribution had a Virtual Keyboard at the moment..

With so many languages in this world like LibreOffice one should have multilanguage capability.

I have put the Laptop to its original bag and using my NUC.

I am allegic to ALL Laptops.

BIOS VIRUS - WARNING

 BIOS VIRUS- WARNING 

With over 400 million Microsoft Laptops going to junk yard, please do not ship them to CEYLON. There is hardly anybody in Government Service and in Political Power who can read a simple English Instruction, let alon BIOS or EFI Booting.

There is nobody who is competent in Linux.

My usual advice is never by a cheap computer to your old parents.

Buy a new one with warranty.Better still buy them a Valve's Steam Deck Going above 1000 US dollars to play some games till the Tomb.

I am living with a Laptop I bought for 35 US Dollars in Mustafa, Sarngoon Road, Singapore in 2018. 

This was NOT after my my retirement from the University of CEYLON but when I got my Pension from UK. 

It is a paltry sum and I was getting 1/4th of the entitlement, since I was not living in United Kingdom. 

They tried to pay me a lump sum to which I objected and after a few letters of exchange, they had to give into my request. 

Give me my pension at 55. 

I am willing to send contributions from my Bank Account until 55.

I was just 35, then.

I left UK in 1988 never to return.

But, went to New Zealand in 1992.

Those guys delayed my appointment by 6 weeks. That delay made me to loose the pension Entitlement at 55. They passed a legislation just before I entered New Zealand with an appointment already in hand. Immigration women in Singapore a Chinese woman did all the delays. That id why I hate Chinese to this day.

I booked a return ticket to London and back to New Zealand, Christchurch and got the VISA ENTRY in London. That New Zealand woman put the VISA Stamp on my old passport. When I told that is wrong, she said she cannot open another Stamp.

I got a another VISA Stamp at Christchurch in my new passport. I was the  only one in this world having VISA entry in both valid and invalid passports to New Zealand.

New Zealanders are racial minded unlike the British who work by the Rule of Law.

I wad just 45 and left New Zealand never to return again even on a holiday. That is why hate New Zealand, the land with mamy Earth Quake faults.

I worked until 66 in the University without Pension Entitlement. I was excluded from the University Pension scheme after serving them for 17 and half years.

In Ceylon vagrant politicians get pension after 8 years in service.

There was at least 6 months delay getting my first instalment with arrears from UK.

My mother had  to wait 6 years to get her pension. She lived to 91 plus.

Their argument was there is a break in service. I said I am working in Ceylon and it is by default a British protectorate like Falklands.

The Head Lady in the Pension Department took my side.

I settled my debts but did not tell anybody till I left CEYLON I was getting a pension from UK. Even, the Bank Manager where my current account is held, does not know it. Since, I was working in the university, the Bank Manager thought that money is coming from an investment in UK, judging by the paltry sum.  

Yes, Pension was an investment I fought hard..

 

To make believe the Bank Manager that I have an investment in UK  was a plus point to keep the current account running after my retirement. 

My salary in the University went to People's Bank. I closed (it is a long story regarding foreign currency) all my accounts there due some other issues but still have a Saving Account.

Coming to Linux:

I have some issues with REBORN OS.

I'll come to that after BIOS Virus.

 

I assumed this laptop computer has a BIOS Virus since the Vendor guy had blocked the USB Booting. 

Thankfully, it has a DVD ROM from which I booted to Linux having ERASED Microsoft Windows.

I  am on a extended Wesak Holiday Mood, I decided to unblocked the BIOS Block Yesterday, with the help of www.BiosBug.com.

I had no problem installing Debian Forky.

Then I went into Override Mode wanted install 10 or more LINUX Distributions. 

No problem with all ARCH based distribution except REBORN OS.

I always have two instances of Debian since due to my poor eyesight and carelessness if one fails the other is there to identity and solve any current problem.

 

By the way, I do not use it for word documents due to this BIOS Virus I have named "Figure of 8 Virus" since it inserts itself a chain of figures of 8 at the beginning of any search, including the Internet browser. 

I should call it "Search Engine Virus" .

Now, the Debian installed OK. I had to do it twice since I pressed the Shutdown button, early which corruoted the GRUB.

That mistake was healthy mistake.

The second installation had to look for the BIOS configuration to boot and detected all the missing or virally infected files and listed them before mounting the Operating System.

It said in plane English there is a BIOS Virus and it would not write a GRUB Boot Loader. 

Telling me I have to sort it myself without telling me how.

Hinting me, I should ERASE the BIOS and go for a more modern Graphic BIOS. All my life I have not done (erasing the BIOS) that and if I RUIN the tiny allocation sites where the BIOS is recorded the Laptop which looks brand new now would end up in a dustbin.

I sorted out everything and I would not spoon feed the reader.

This is where YouTube presenter cannot express clearly to a newbie how to boot. One has to describe every step in plane English step by step.

The REBORN Os cannot read the keys in this Laptop. It reads numbers property and not the letters underneath. I could not type the password for WiFi and also my long name in the dialog boxes.

 

CachyOS and BlueStar OS could.

I won't install Storm OS

Nobody can do any CODING in this laptop with figure of 8 virus.

I did not look at the Terminal.

I do not use Terminal now.

Poor eyesight is one.

I hate black terminal by default.

I am not a Server Guy but a PC and Laptop guy. 

PC is also mini NUC.

I am glad I tried all the tricks with the NUC and it has 10 distributions.

Difference it is modern and has Graphic BIOS.

The Laptop is old and has Legacy BIOS with no Secure Boot.

This problem is circumvented by EFI of Linux by me in 2018.

 

Coming to Internet we did not have satellite communication in Kandy,

I got the CBN.Net  satellite disk installed on our roof  paying a lot. 

I had enough and more money then.

It stared with a Modem where one has to give  a Call And Wait for 2 hours to give an International call.

There were no WiFi then only Ethernet.

SLT Router was hopeless and I went to Singapore and bought  a Router with at least 16 ports when I made a Network in home with at least 14 computers. 

The University where I worked had 5 computers in one Department and no Network.

All IBM computers dished out from USA. 

Two computers and two Cathode RAY caught fire due to heat with the our door temperature hitting 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

If I remember right my first and only Internet Boot using TrueOS (BSD derivative) of this BIOS blocked laptop in 2018 was the  beginning of this SAGA.

Since then I stopped using Microsoft Window's utilities. 

Good Bye to ENDLESS OS

My Laptop was imprisoned in XFS file system and ENDLESS OS. I could not dual boot another Linux Distribution.

With the help of Buos.Bug.com I got USB booting activated and I am Installing Debian Testing Forky.

Yes, Big Thank You for unlocking the ACER Vendor Locked USB Port. I thought, it was Microsoft that was blocking since, I erased it and Installed TrueOS in 1918. However, I could boot with a DVD. I left all my Bootable DVDs in Ceylon and I could not boot from a USB.

I have an added problem.

It has figure of 8 BIOS or Word Virus.

I know how to circumvent that and this Laptop is not for Word Processing but for Multimedia.

It had ENDLESS OS and Good Bye to Endless OS and XFS file system.

Luckily, I did not not publish my book on Linux Essentials and I record this SAGA but won't blame Microsoft inadvertently.

I categorically withdraw all my comments regarding BIOS block and Microsoft.

A clever Guy responded that this is Vendor BLOCKING to one of my WordPress pieces yesterday, and I responded today with vigour.

AI and MAD

This piece is to highlight that the "War ofAttrition" has no currency when AI is at work. Nobody seems to have understood this precarious situation. 

I do not think even China has given credence to this evolving situation.

China is obsessed with AI.

Russia in my belief does not believe in efficiency of the AI operations. It may be useful in a battle situation where surprise is intended. They still believe in human intelligence supervising the  AI drones.

I do not want to use the term AI spy agents.

They have boots on the ground.

If AI is given the full control what evolves has no logic or algorithm. Americans do not have reliable boots on the ground and depend heavily on AI gathered intelligence.

At best AI stops at 95% efficiency.

The outlier of 5% is the one which leads to catastrophe in an AI battle of supremacy.                     

The End Game has no logical endpoint but depends on the redundant data set of uncertainty.

It is presumed to be infinity.

In scientific sense, infinity has a different connotation.

As for knee jerk reaction, I think we have to worry and suspect Americans who would jump the gun prematurely, on a preemptive strike.

Beware.

By the way, this is an American manufactured war. Russia never wanted a war in Ukraine but they preferred negotiations. It was the war monger, Boris Johnson who coaxed Zelensky into the war path. Already one million Ukrainians have scarified their life to war of attrition.

It is easy to start a war.

It is very difficult to stop.

In human terms at this point of time, diplomacy, may or may not work.

The stakes are very high.

Then man made devices are used preemptively.

We have examples in history and the Atomic Bomb in Japan did end the World War II.

Unfortunately, we never managed to come to term with Strategic Arms Control for a sustainable period of time in our history. The Treaty for  Nuclear Arms Control ends in 2025. Russia proactively extended it by one year.

There is no attempt to reactivate this Treaty.

Due to Presidential election in USA, no attempt to end this war was envisaged.

Status quo remains fragile.

Democratic mechanisms may fail in this type of scenario.

One man rule like in China may fail.

Dialogue may fail.

We have a vulnerable president in power, at a time where diplomacy is at zero strength.

The end game or end point is in "a state of flux".

When we have unstable leaders who do not have mature advisers to lead them, the tendency to rely on AI is realistic. Paradoxically guys who may be eyeing for a  regime change in USA may become proactive. This was regime change in reverse gear.

The man who envisaged Regime Change in Russia will be a victim of his own devises.

The pendulum swings from war to no war.

Putting the finger on the AI button, is a realistic probability. It is literally called the "Panic Button". This is an example of “Uncertainty Principle”, hard at work.

Victory is uncertain but stale mate is factual.

War posturing against Iran by Israel was evident. The 12 day attempt at regime change did not come to fruition. The tendency is the same but this time Iran is well prepared and there seem to be some cohesion with third parties.

Russia and China have helped in the surveillance strategy which Iran refused in the first instance.

Everything is in volatile mode with two guys over 80 heading the regimes.

I would stop at that.

Mutually Assured Destruction may ensure.
