Reflection

This piece is a good one.
One has to read it in full.
No satire intended.

I have come out of that malady of satire.
More about satire later

I slept well and woke up only now after solid 9 hours of sleep.
I generally wake up usually wanting to go to the loo. Then next step is to have a cup of tea my live wire. Cup of coffee is occasional and Australians are coffee drinkers.
There is plenty of good quality coffee here.

Reason was for my good sleep was obvious.
I finished editing my latest book, "The Story of Three Dogs".

This was bit of a Reflection of our dog.
I used to sleep well and dream well when Zimba was alive. Since no mention is made about Zimba in this book and there not going to be a book on Zimba, this book is dedicated to Zimba.

Let me finish with the dream in snippets.
I do not know why we dream.
There is a book on Sleep and Dream with scientific inputs.

My theory of dream is that it recharges the brain by erasing all the electrical inputs the day before so one is ready for the new inputs.
There is relative lack of insight in dreams.

It is just like recharging your cellphone or laptop but getting ready for another equally boring day.

Dream was basically about how I invest my Providant Fund.

1. Commercial investment in a Garment Industry to produce Male Underwear.
One cannot find good Male Underwear in CEYLON.
Indian stuff is horrible.
They are good for guys with bilateral hydrocele.
I think most Indians probably suffer from Syphilis and it's complicatations.
Most of their politicians including Modi must be having at least one hydrocele. Their dress is an indication. They cannot wear a proper English trouser since the bulge then would be visible to the voter.

2. The second was having a helicopter ride of Kandy City for a foreign friend of mine. The traffic jam in this city is the worst.
One and half hour from Panideniya to Kandy and two hours and more for the return journey.
It takes only 20 minutes by train and the distance is only 7 kilometers.

3. The third was a Cinnamon Tea which I miss very much. For that also I have to go to a particular tea shop in the upper deck of City Center.
Mesna Tea is my regular tea in Kandy.
The guy who made the best Mesna Tea went to Dubai just before I left CEYLON.
I am pretty sure he lost his job due to Middle East crisis.

Arabs including Iranians enjoy Ceylon Tea.
I am pretty sure current crisis would hit our Tea Industry very badly.

Deep Sleep of 4 hours where memory is registered of the last new stuff one has learned.
We still do not know how memory channels are established.
Meditation may not be helpful in Memory establishment. It is certainly a delusional state of some sort, similar to Ayahuasca smoking.
If one is woken up during REM sleep, one remembers the dream. It is called Rapid Eye Movement sleep. Rapid Eye Movement is involantry manifestation. One is actually visualizing the dream. Waking up during this period adversely effets the recharging.  Me not having good dreams in Australia is related to me having a good night sleep. One need not remember the dreams. Dreams have no relationship to memory establishment.
The Cardinal Principle is never ever wake up a sleeping tiger.

One cannot wake up a guy who is pretending to be sleeping. Good example is Ceylonese politicians.

4. Having a Big Mac finished the dream.

5. Gatambe Grounds in Kandy is the place where they have political meeting. The road gets permanently blocked. Additionallly there is collosal expenditure erecting the stage, flags and decorations.
I can remember during senior Premadasa time Sirisena Cooray did plan his meetings. 1000 odd Colombo Municipal workers were taken round the country for these erections. Suffice is to say, others did not stop but multiply this adventure.
JVP had its own battalion.

Stupid people gather to listen to the lies of NPP/JVP guys and other politicians.
The politicians never come in time and are always late.
I used to do a survey towards the end of the meeting to see in which way the political wind is blowing. I was an active political animal and in subtle way made exit of Rajapaksa regime inevitable. Throughly disappointed with Ranil and Maitree combo.
A complete disaster.

I knew that NPP/JVP rise to 46% and never 50%. Mahinda Deshapriya coup of second vote was the historical political mockery. It was simple abusé or wrong interpretation. He was not neutral but JVP carder by his own wrong actions.
Current regime is the worst in our history and I wish them to be in power for 5 years since people who voted them need to suffer enough so that JVP is erased for good.
This regime is a CURSE.
Natural disaster (before recovery) immediately  following by global disaster.
R.I.P.

Recovery is Impossible.
This applies to Indian Hegemony,too.

I have stopped buying papers including Aniddha Paper.
I left CEYLON, two years before NPP coming to power. My only loss was two 1 terabyte SATA disks with my life long data.

Politics has become a poison having listened to President Donald Trump.

People should stop going to these mega maga meetings and above all listening to the Global Lies.

6.  Media are paid by the political parties including our guys in CEYLON.
I refuse to mention their names since that itself indirectly helps their propaganda.

7. I hate all YouTube presentations.
They are conditional and can be made to remove by Google itself.
Their only goal is advertisement revenue, a total a capitalist venture.

I hate Google propaganda but I use Google blog spot for my ranting. The reason being they remain their with a timestamp for future reference.

8. I did a survey on Iran War and the American Propaganda is one sided. Americans are winning is a Big Lie.

9. Only O.D. Mohamad projects the true ground situation. Iranians are having a field day in spite of mounting destruction to their civilian infrastructure.

10. Even Richard Medhurst gets it wrong working from Austria
Austria is supposed to be neutral.
Austrians are not neutral.

He is doing a good job and I admire his politeness in presenting his facts.

11. But I believe in blunt bludgeoning.

Why President Donald Trump is Hesitating on Off Ramp Deal?

This is based on the hypothesis that Prime Minister Netanuyahu is seriously injured or diseased. If he is gone President Donald Trump cannot déclaré that he won the IRAN was when his real partner in arms is not by his side.
An anticlimax to begin with.
In any case he is losing the battle.

Other possibility is that it is the son who was injured or diseased not the father.

1. Indian Journalist who filmed Netanuyahu's Office after bomb explosion was arrested.
His whereabout is unknown.

2. Netanyahu's son represented his father in a scheduled  meeting in Hangary.

3. Netanyahou's son who has avid presence in YouTube presentation was not seen live for 7 days.
Supposed to be the 7 day morning period.

4. Office of Netanyahu published a serious of old photographs of him dating back to 1990s as it was a tribute to him.

5. Then of course serious of faked YouTube presentations in which as a photographer, even I can detect touchups.

Death in War is normal.
Covering up won't help the outcome.

Until the situation in Israel is sorted out, going for exit strategy is detrimental to Israel. Besides, Israel military needs time to honour Prime Minister and  has choreograph its next move.

I think Iranians know these facts and that is why they are carrying out relentless assaults including Nuclear Faculty in Demona.

These ideas were supplemented by O.D. Mohamad who is an astute journalist who can see faked from not faked photos.

I think Richard Medhurst jumped the gun and stated Netanyahu is alive. Working from Austria, I think he got it wrong.
By the way, he is a good journalist

He is a hard working guy.
When one breaks rest one tends to overlook obvious facts.

By the way, this is a hypothesis by a scientist and a retired medical officer.

As a medical man I abhor all forms of war.

We had a 35 year conflict in CEYLON.
I brushed "Near Death" thrice during those 35 years. I am lucky to be alive.
One of those incident was due to NPP/JVP (failed) bomb blast.
Police caught those guys near Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, CEYLON. I witnessed the arrest.

I was very careful after the third incident.

Whole Package of American Blackmail

This really the Mafia Type of Blackmail by Amricans on Oil and Gas Economics.

1. Buy Oil from America
2. Buy Gas from America
3. Insure the cargo in America
4. Insure the naval  vesels in America
5. Block all the maritime routes
But won't help to open routes.

150% blackmail in effect which Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa and India together cannot mitigate.
At least in Mafia Style certain elements are allowed to act with impunity but not in American CIA style grip on economy.

I am a fool not to understand the working.
Thanks to Richard Medhurst who is a British Iranian journalist who has worked out the mechanics I begin to understand.

Average Income in the USA by Family and Household

Saturday, December 7, 2019

This only a old reproduction.

The economic crisis is going to be the worst in a century.

Average Income in the USA by Family and Household

I have to make few comments about Ceylon.

We do not have people starving (relatively in the South) or eating from bins.
Our food is cheap and there are plenty of alternatives and variations.
Our immunization program is good enough but not up to the International Standards.
Often the imported items are substandard.
Dengue is a ploy used by doctors both in private and government practice to hoodwink the poor patients’ relatives to abscond liability in courts of law.
No proper diagnosis in most cases and no postmortems!
Clothing industry is robust and cloths are cheap.
Public and private transport is in dilapidated state.
I have a saying that if we “Abolish The Post of Presidency” (real white elephant) for 10 years, we can improve the transport system including introducing few domestic air lines, for people in the North, instead of giving India our air space to drop Mysoor dhal (Parippu) in crisis.
Never trust Indian Politicians.
They bring AIDS (kidney donors, etc), Malaria and exotic diseases from their own hospitals.
I love Indian cricketers including Kholi, so do not take it as an Indian slur.
Our monks are fabulously rich and now devote more time on politics than the spread of Dhamma.
They, more or less spread hate on minorities and Islam (phobia)!
Learning second language especially English is poorer than Bangladesh, if not India.
Read either Sinhala or Tamil papers.
Television / Media are owned by partisan individuals.
There is no balanced reporting.
Political parties have NO democratic ways and are almost owned by individuals.
They are hegemonic.
Latest is religious hegemony.
Election commissioner has failed to admonish religious and astrological hegemony in spite of blatant violation of the election law.
He only talks.
NATO.
No
Action
Talk
Only SHOW.
We applaud him for his failures.
This is a very good article.
We in Ceylon manipulate these figures to hoodwink the WHO and UNO.

Average Income in the USA by Family and Household

By Kimberly Amadeo
Updated September 16, 2019
Average income is any statistic that describes how much money an individual, family, or household makes. The U.S. Census Bureau reports average U.S. incomes in September of each year.
The Census reports two kinds of averages. The mean sums up all incomes and divides by the number of people reporting. The median income is the point where half the people make more and half make less. The mean income is usually higher. That's because the few people who make enormous amounts of money skew the results higher. In the mean, they outweigh the many who make low incomes. That gives an inaccurate estimate because it's affected by the income inequality in the United States. For this reason, most reports use the median income.
The Census reports average income for three different groups:
  1. Income per person is the income for each person at age 15 or older. It's more commonly known as income per capita.
  2. Family income is average for a family of two or more related people living in a household. They can be related by birth, marriage, or adoption.
  3. Household income is the average income of all people living in a housing unit. It doesn't matter if they are living alone, with a family, or with a group of unrelated individuals.
  4. Real income removes the effects of inflation. To compare income levels over time, you must use real income. Nominal income ignores the changing cost of living. That's also the difference between real versus nominal GDP.
When looking at average income, you must pay attention to what it measures specifically. Always determine whether it's the mean or median. Find out whether it's per capita, family, or household. Last but not least, be sure you know whether it's real or nominal.
The Census breaks out average incomes for many different groups. These include age, relationship to the household, race, education, and type of housing. It reports income levels in $2,500 increments. The Census will release the next report on 2018 average incomes in September 2019.

2017 Average Income

The 2017 nominal median income per capita was $31,786. The mean income per capita was $48,150. The Census Bureau reports those in the Current Population Survey, Table PINC-01.
Real median household income was $61,372.
At first glance, it was a new record, but the Census warns that it modified its questions. As a result, the household income was about the same as in 2007 and 1999. The Census reports household income in Table HINC-01.
The federal government uses the median household income to establish poverty levels. That determines eligibility for Obamacare subsidies and welfare programs.
Real median family income was $75,938. The real mean family income was $100,400. The government uses the family income for statistical purposes, such as reporting the poverty threshold. The Census reports family income in Table FINC-01.

U.S. Average Income Has Caught Up

The table below compares the change in income through the 2001 and 2008 recessions. Incomes didn't start improving until 2006, just as the seeds of the 2008 financial crisis were being planted. That's when the Federal Reserve raised interest rates. As mortgages became more expensive, homes prices fell. Mortgage defaults began to rise. But the crisis didn't spread to the general economy until 2008. The Dow hit its peak in November 2007.
Most of the jobs created before the recession were in financial services and construction. Those jobs did not return in 2009. Instead, jobs were in low-paying areas such as retail and food services. Many employers hired temporary or freelance workers instead of offering full-time positions.
To make matters worse, the government did not create jobs. The Bush administration relied on tax cuts and military spending to boost the economy. Neither are good job creators. President Obama had the right idea in spending more on education and public works. Those types of programs are the best unemployment solutions.
After the 2010 mid-term elections, the Republican majority in Congress focused on reducing the debt instead of creating jobs. The unemployment rate fell as people dropped out of the labor force, but incomes did not rise.
In 2013, the Fed did what it could by keeping interest rates low. But those low rates created an asset bubble in the stock market, which hit new highs. At the same time, average income levels briefly rose.
In 2014, new technology in shale oil drilling boosted incomes in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, but incomes fell in those areas when oil prices did. Washington D.C. and the states around it, specifically West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland, also improved.
In 2015, income levels rose as unemployment fell. The situation further improved in 2016, when the average income exceeded the pre-recession peak.

Poverty

(The percentage change for 2017 is not applicable because the Census changed the question. Table sources: "Current Population Survey," Table FINC-1., U.S. Census, September 13, 2018. "GDP Growth Rate by Year," "Unemployment Rate by Year.")
As a result of the worsening of the average income, 43.1 million Americans lived below the federal poverty threshold. In 2017, that was $24,858 for a typical family of four. This is more than just the "usual suspects," such as illegal immigrants, inner-city poor, and the homeless. This is every third person you meet today.

How did this happen?
In 2008, real wages decreased 0.8%. Real wages measure the purchasing power of a family's income. Although wages increased by 3.7% in 2008, prices rose even more.
U.S. wage levels are compressed to compete with pay levels in foreign countries such as China and India. They have a much lower cost of living. At the same time, the education and skill level of foreign labor forces are increasing. Furthermore, technology and the spread of English makes it easier to employ foreign workers. Outsourcing has hit hardest in call centers and computer programming.
Capitalism requires U.S. companies to employ these lower-cost, skilled employees. Otherwise, they will lose market share to international competitors.

Does the minimum wage keep you out of poverty?
No. If you were earning the U.S. minimum wager and you were the only breadwinner for a family of four, you would fall beneath the poverty line. The minimum wage pays a full-time worker $15,080 a year. That's less than the $11.95 per hour needed to keep a family out of poverty.
Single people earning the minimum wage cannot afford to rent their own apartment in any major city. They must rent a room or live with roommates. Their best chances to find an apartment are in college towns, small towns in low-income states, and in rural areas.
Congress has kept the minimum wage the same since 2009. If the minimum wage had been adjusted for the cost of living over the last 40 years, it would be $10.41 an hour. If it had kept up with executive level pay increases, it would be $23/hour. Then the minimum wage would be a living wage.
At the same time, prices of food and oil increased when the dollar declined between 2000 and 2006. The Clean Energy Act raised prices by diverting corn crops to the production of ethanol. That raised the price of corn, a primary feed stock for beef, also leading to higher food prices.

Middle-Class Income

The U.S. economic crisis spread the pain felt by America's poor and working poor to the middle class. While the cost of food and gasoline rose, wages stayed the same. The resultant squeeze on the middle class led to unprecedented debt levels. Families racked up credit card debt just to pay for their daily lives.
Today, the middle class has the most economic mobility of anyone in America. They can make it to the upper classes. The best pathway is still education. But it is so expensive it has become a form of structural inequality. As a result, it is difficult for the poor to become wealthy. The rags-to-riches promise of the American Dream has dimmed.

Rabid Monkey

This an old dream of mine.

Please do not substitute this to present scenario.

It is a futuristic dream.

Rabid Monkey

Dream seven was a short one and bit bizarre.

It was a very short one and I woke up with some anger before I could finish viewing it with normal calm and satirical intents associated with my dreams.

It was a small cubicle with two way entrance. I saw little brat who showed a mirror to a money. The monkey took the mirror in his hand and bashed over the toddler’s head with glass pieces all over the place and it vanished through the side entry.

Before I could summon my senses and get ready to analyze evolving situation, another monkey came in through the same door with something in its hand. It was like a club it bashed the on the toddler again. The child fell down. I woke up with a broomstick in my hand.

I hate children being ill treated, even in my dreams.

Well it was a dream and I put the broomstick where it should be and tried to memorize the story before I could forget.

I go into trance state like getting a fat salary or winning a lottery.

So there you are, I could remember it to send an email to Maha Brahma.

He responded quickly.

He pulled an armchair laid himself for a long interpretation.

I told it was very short one and what was the long of it.

He said good that you woke up.

You would have ended up with a heart attack in your dream.

Me, getting a heart attack  dream state?

No Way.

Second part was violent and it was all out war like LTTE and Armed Forces.

You mean to say LTTE won.

No stupid.

Then International Community who backed the terror won.

No stupid.

I was fully confused.

Don't you realize this is a futuristic dream.

I asked him,

What was the time scale?

In evolutionary term it is short.

Significant in human years.

In about 100 years.

Who are they?

Have you seen the Planet of Apes.

Yes.

Then it is somewhat similar.

There were series of nuclear accidents not related to war but equipment malfunction like in Japan. It was spread by a mutation of the Israel virus that hit Iran nuclear facility. It went around the entire world in mater of two weeks and catastrophic destruction ensued.

Millions and millions of people and animals died and the whole world was stinking with chemicals and dead bodies of animals and humans. Almost all dog population except a few wild dogs vanished.

For sometime there appeared no life on earth except few plants. Then there were two mutant species one humanoid and one ape, amongst many others.

Humanoid were short and was of toddler size.

The apes were slightly bigger and taller and were dominating the world. They pushed the humanoids to barren lands or islands where monkeys could not reach.

There were no tree cover except tiny farm lands.

Why are they small?

Food in short supply and that is the way the genes have been designed to last critical periods of evolution on Earth.

Big do not survive but midgets do.

Or I see.

I saw a paper on Palaeontology with the evidence to suggest that when a catastrophe of this nature occurs, the surviving animals fill the niche as it were,

It is the norm.

That is a stupid idea know?

Maha Brahma was not impressed with that theory.

I asked why?

This is not a natural catastrophe but artificial and man made. It affected the entire biodiversity including plants and it does not leave ground for a niche or any opportunity for the rest.

See what happened.

The entire dog population vanished.

What remained really went wild.

They went backwards in evolution and not forward like the humanoids with short stature.

Elephants were decimated like the dinosaurs.

You mean to say end of human intelligence.

I suppose so.

Then he had a very sorry and worried look.

I asked why?

Did the effect filtered to the heaven?

No.

Then?

If this happens who is going to dream for me?

Even animals and humanoids do dream know?

I said.

That is besides the point.

Their dreams are not futuristic like yours.

Give me a break.

Are going to extend my agonizing stay on earth?

Would you?

I may have to do that till the sun shines.

Please don't.

I will consider a proposal to the President in his dreams to  have a say and increase your salary.

Would you?

I will try the dream method first.

If it fails I will try the Dr. White's oil method.

Thank you Sir.

Then he vanished.

Biggest Conspiracy Hatched by Americans

This is the first time I was fooled by Americans.
I surrender.

This the best and the biggest Conspiracy of American neocons.

I am not sure how it would ends.

Nuclear Extinction is a possibility.

Read Richard Medhurst's analysis in real time (YouTube presentation).

American dominance of
Supplier of LNG Gas to the Whole World
Supplier of Petroleum products to the Whole World

TOTAL Energy Dominace of AMERICA.

EU countries becoming subservient to AMERICA.

Wholesale Criple of Chinese Economy.

Fool the Middle East countries until Americans have extracted all the Middle East resources under the pretext of providing SECURITY Guarantee.

Finally, leave Middle East exposed having achieved Amrican Economic dominance.

America Fooled the Russians to the core.

This is Win Win Win Situation for America and Americans.

A master stroke not by Donald Trump but by the Military Industrial Complex.

America fooled Every Soul under this planet including ME.

I have no regret for becoming a Total Fool.

Dubai the Concrete Jungle-The Transformation

It is amazing that in 1980s I travelled through Dubai to United Kingdom by United Arab Emirates flight which was cheaper than British Airways, Swiss Airwayas and KLM (Royal Dutch Airline).
I could not get a decent overnight meal in Dubai, if I missed the connection to London Heathrow. The pasport was confiscated overnight.
Only once, I missed a connection.
I feared losing my passport. I was working in UK and as a bachelor smd I could afford it.
I do not think I bought anything from the Duty Free Lounge in Dubai, since things were 1/3rd the price on London Streets.

Then over time Dubai became a Paradise for millionaires.
Then I stopped going to UK but preferred going to Singapore over weekend for Rs7800/=. Mustafa Cetre was my favourite but rarely Orchard Street.
I used to buy things for my kids.

Then airfares to Singapore soared and I stopped going there after 2009. I bought a good Fuji camera and a Laptop damn cheap and both are still in working order.

Things in Mustafa Cetre also went up I could not buy good 3 piece suit, there. It was catering for Indians.

In my retirement I curtailed all my travelling after Coronavirus pandemic.

My saying now is Yesterday was better than today.
Tommarrow is going to be worse.

Yes, this artificial HYPE had to give way.

Few missles from IRAN made Middle East cities becoming GHOST cities.

America (UK included) and ISRAEL are to be blamed for this tragedy.

The recovery is PAINFULLY slow for CEYLON.

Space Encounter

Space Encounter

This was an interesting dream episode.

I was deep into sleep and I felt like, if somebody was scanning my thoughts and emotions.

It was just like the close encounters of the alien type.

Whatever, thought moment that had arisen in my brain was as it were hijacked or stolen or scanned, to see what I was thinking.

For instance, if the thought of a dog came into my mind, the scanning was not for the picture of the dog in my head but in what context, the thought moment had arisen in my brain.

Say, fear or caring or possession.

If the thought was say about a cricket match.

It was not the current state of the match or the ball by ball commentary, the scanner was interested. It was the state of my mind and the emotions that were aroused that were scanned.

It was not the text but the context or the intent that the scanners were looking for. It was bit of a science fiction of Freudian type.

I got a nice feeling about it and at the same time felt this scanner was linked to a super computer. It was not scanning individual subjects but it was global in nature and the group of people, as whole was scanned.

Say, it was scanning the Bodu Bala Sena outfit in action, it was scanning the entire lot  for the motives stated and the ulterior motives and emotions of the designers were scanned. Say for instance, those upfront and those behind the scene, the plotters far away from the scene of action were monitored.

Freud would have been happy, if he had this super computer for his psychoanalysis.       It was, as it were, all human emotions were scanned. It is as it were, the prospective aliens beings wanted to know what would happen,       if they landed on this planet without any advance communication.

The moment this alien thing came into my mind, I was woken up abruptly.

In the back of my mind, I wanted to record, the first alien encounter and get the full credit in my name.

Alas, I realized that it was only dream.

This was 2.30 A.M in the morning and    I went back to my sleep for further sojourn in the dream world.

I was not left stranded. I was in the dream world again as it were the continuation of the previous episode.

This time the scene was strange but somewhat similar to a street market of the ancient type. But on this occasion, I was the one who was doing the scanning from above, not the aliens. In fact, I was hijacked by the aliens to do the dirty spy work without any payment.

I had to interpret the emotions.

I had volunteered to work free to strike another first by a human, in a real close encounter. There was a group of guys collected together and the elders were removing cloths out in the open in front of their kith and kin. They hardly had any cloths but wearing vestiges or rags, not worth wearing. They looked like our forest people (Veddhas) of ancient time.

Then in the same group some were assembling behind, what looked like a Giant Arrow in preparation for combat.

Its shape was similar to a rocket in preparation of ultimate launching.

Then as I was scanning, at a little distance in a higher plane there was a group clad only covering their bottoms with bare tops, somewhat similar to priests in a Tamil Hindu Temple (Kovil).

They were in whites were parading up some giant steps that led, as it were to the heaven.

Then there was another group which looked like traders trading some precious metal hidden in ornamental baskets and oils of leaves of medicine, in tiny bottles.

It did not look serene.

This was like the dark side of Colombo port where traders are dealing with illegal stuff.

In other word they were involved in smuggling.

Then there was another group which gathered on the embankment of a river struggling to get on board. It looked like a hastily constructedferry but poorly equipped.

The fifth group was in a large airport with few air planes ready to board passengers.   In fact, thousands of fleeing subjects waiting in the queue to get on board the few seats available. A large contingent of security personnel were checking their travel documents.

Only a few were allowed to board.

This dream came in before, I had some understanding of Buddha, Dhamma, Rebirth and Uncertainty of existence.

I need Maha Brahma to interpret these events in motion.

Interpretation

This looked a unique situation related to Ceylon.

Somewhat similar to tsunami but of a bigger magnitude.

Maha Brahma's explanation was mandatory.

He was quick to respond with a broad smile.

You are getting more and more dreams.

Have you been eating a diet which stimulate dreams?

No, Sir.

I am having a few episodes of memory loss in wakeful state. It is not a good thing in my old age. Memory loss is an early sign of dementia.

I am training myself to remember all my dreams to activate my memory potential. Unlike, in the past, I record them in short form and then try to put the pieces together like a jigsaw puzzle.

Naturally, I forget most of my dreams but send you only the interesting ones for interpretation.

I also discovered a hidden potential.

If I am in a good dream and woken up by mosquitoes or some bodily irritation like wanting to go to the loo, I go back to the dream mode and I continue with where I left.

Coming back to this dream it looks like the dream is related to Ceylon and they are in panic mode.

Is that so?

Yes, it is.

It very simple.

It is related your scientific prediction related to global warming and small islands getting encircled by rising sea water above 4000 feet.

My goodness, my city is under 1600 feet.

Don't worry, you have long gone, this dream is well into the future.

Let me start with the fifth group.

Who are they?

They are the IMF guys and girls who have come on the final round of debt collection.

They want to vanish with all the wealth.

There was a big crowd there, know?

Yes, those who had some connection were following the IMF traits.

Then what was the fourth group.

They were the guys and power brokers aligned to the central bank and the politicians with shoddy deals. They were trying to pilfer whatever left in the country into their own coffers, illegally of course.

They are the counter current to IMF.

The third group is the Tamils of Indian descent trying to reach heaven in a rush.

The fourth group is the Sri-Lankan Muslims trying to flee to Middle East.

The fifth group is the modern Veddhas trying to escape into space in a space craft of their own design.

What was the outcome?

Who survived.

None except the few IMF guys who had private planes and the Indian State Tamils who piled up on the steep mountains survived.      Rest succumbed when the sea water hit the land in a flash never seen in the history of this planet.

It was all a mad rush and there was no time.

It was end of the world for most of the Ceylonese.

If they had some airports in the hill region instead near the sea, they would have saved a few thousands. What happened to the animals, especially the elephants.

Unfortunately, elephants had gone extinct by this time.

Birds escaped to higher ground with many of the smaller animal species.

Wilpattu and Yala were under water and there were no animals reserves left.

Can you tell me the time scale.

I am not suppose to tell you.

Why?

Then you would stop dreaming for future and he disappeared in a flash.

Hall of Shame of Indians

Hall of Shame of Indians
I have created a Hall ((hole) of Shame of Indians

This in no way should  make one eyed Nawaurd of Pataudi, the great Indian (they are the ones included in the Hall of Fame) opener from British Era, rise from grave in pain but these greats, followed the footsteps of British Cricket in pristine form, nimble footed and classic in style.

I hope Goeff Boycott makes the final phrase in current "Saga of Foul Mouths Indians".

No reprieve for them.

Bash them with what we call "Bu-Walla" or the Octopus skin to squash the Evil Spirits in Cricket.

Their names are put by me in Google's Alphabetical Order to be shamed until the current series is over.

I will neither watch the matches nor look at the statistics.

The Indian antics are nauseating, to say the least.

Australian and English consider Cricket Boards  should downgrade the current bizarre ranking elements (at least Withhold the Ranking until the current pandemic is over to respect the young and the old who left us in agony).

This in not time for celebration but laying Wreath for Cricket.

Who is Buddha?

 Sunday, June 22, 2025
 Who is Buddha?
Who is Buddha and what he is not?

Who is Buddha and what he is not?

It is very difficult to answer this question either in positive or negative sense.

    BUT;

I will start with the negatives.

1. He was not a philosopher and Buddhism is not a philosophy.

 2. He was not a scientific scholar.
The science and technology were not his domain.
In fact, it was a bane by his subtle insinuations of scientific goals which are by nature local or global in nature and not absolutes truths.
In fact, rational investigating mind is a hindrance to mental awakening, which he prescribed for understanding of the uncertainty or the unsatisfactoriness of the greed, ignorance and selfishness within every human being.

What it means is basic understanding of nature is OK but looking for absolutes is a vain exercise of no use except of temporary benefit.

3. He did not proclaim a rigid dogma of God and a Creator of the Universe.
He was part of the cosmos and all living beings are part of this cosmos and not outside of this cosmos.
Simply put God is outside of this cosmos and the God is not part of it.
In literal sense, God cannot exist on his or her own domain apart from becoming part of the cosmos.
The god is only a clumsy and flimsy human creation with no substance at all.

Coming to positive side of  Buddha's Teaching;
He was one of us and was a perfect human being.

1. He lived in the present moment (of mind and associated mental formations of infinite variegation) not in the past or in the future tense.
No two human beings are alike and no two thought moments are alike.

2. He was a born environmentalist and lived all his enlightened life (except the rainy season) under a tree and not away from the nature.

3. He gave equal opportunity to all living beings and a wild cat living on another living being for survival was not an antithesis.
In other words, wild cats were born of their own karmic exposition and escape from that  predicament is possible at the time of patisandhi citta or linking to  the next life.
It is not eternal hell but escape is possible from animal kingdom to a better life BUT not being born again is his Only goal to eternity.

It is not a Void but a Signless existence of equanimity.

 4. It is an individual responsibility of each and every individual to seek for his or her own salvation of the inescapable "human suffering and bonding".

I have excluded some difficult areas of Pali rendering and unfortunately English is inadequate to explain the "Wisdom of Buddha".
I have put the conceptual framework of Buddha's thinking would have been.

By the way, I do not claim I understand all of them clearly.

Do not hang on to Kalama Sutta and questioning the Kalama Sutta itself, is the entry point to Enlightenment.

Buddha was never a saviour of humanity
but who showed the way of compassion, boundless kindness, sympathetic joy and above all equanimity.

In his world there is no ground for Killing and War whether due to ideology or religious sects or humiliation of a different faith or sector.

Religion by all means a Brain Virus
