Trace Elements

 Trace Elements

If one ignores Iron and Iodine, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Molybdenum, Chromium, Manganese and Silicon are the most important in wound healing and recovery from illness.

Some of them are poisonous, to say the least.

As often stated in the Media and Internet no food item satisfy the full requirement (Daily Recommended Value) of adult human.

It is the combination of fruits, greens and vegetables, ideally at least 5 types (if daily is impossible) over a week.

I think amount of intake is immaterial since, phytates in the food hinder absorption.

Phytic acid can affect how the body absorbs some minerals, including iron.

It may contribute to mineral deficiencies over time, but this is rarely a concern for people who eat well-balanced diets.

Phytic acid is a unique natural substance found in plant seeds.

It has received considerable attention due to its effects on mineral absorption.

Phytic acid prevents the absorption of iron, zinc, and calcium and may promote mineral deficiencies.
