Apple Mac and Cellphones will have hard time selling their products.
I say this due to several reasons.1. Number one is connectivity.
One should not depend only on WiFi.
2. Cellphones do not have direct ports to connect except Oculink and USB 4 derivatives. They need additional cords to connect.
3. Over time people have collected many gadgets including SATA and NVMVPCIe disks.
4. Most important factor is the emergence of wide variety Mini PCs with many ports in front and back of the system.
5. The most important factor is the heat throttling if all these are incorporated in one cellphone.
6. But what people give most concern is the cost. One can buy bare bone Mini PC under 200 dollars in eBay.
7. My guess is Ethernet port is the fastest only second to fiberoptics.
8. Already HIGOL Mini PC has a cellphone interphase on it's top surface.
Taking all these into account tablet and cellphone demand will go down drastically.
Mini PC is the winner. One need not worry about the brand name when chip makers start flood the market with millions of small form factor chips.
9. One company worse hit will be FrameMaker. Laptops with small screen and short battery half life will be badly hit by this glut.
10. Desktop PC market will gradually fade away with guys buying a large TV (even Monitors will be badly hit).
11. Only thing that hold true for cellphone is portability and include battery.
12. Very soon these Mini PCs would even incorporate battery. What is stopping them is the heating that generate in a small space.
I never anticipated these chip industry outsmarting Moore's Law.
