I Did It My Way-Linix Freedom

This comes from Frank Sinatra who sang it.
I know very little about Frank but I believe he had a rough time. Probably got help from Mafia to break the ice.
When odds are against you in the capitalistic society, one is likely to give up, when odds are down.
But with Microsoft Windows I stood up.
It was lousy Operating System.
Apple Mac was beyond my reach, very expensive.

Microsoft was not cheap but it was pirated which they freely allowed knowing very well guys and girls playing games will get hooked up.

My basic line of argument is stealing is very bad.
Copyright infringement, even worse.

On eighties we did not have any freedom.
But in 1991 Linux came into the scene.
It is 33 years plus.
There were only 32 guys including me world over using Linux in a PC and that is also not as the Daily Driver.

We used to have people like Enoch Powell who was a racist
But we had Bertram Russell who was different.
Very few people picked up with Bertram Russell but stood up with Enoch.

Where does he stand in history?
Most likely in the dustbin of history.

Same conviction kept me going on with Linux.
It is 4% today but very soon it will pass my threshold of 10%.
The irony is such poor country like ours, we do not vest money on a robust system.
Our guy who introduced Sinhala Linux is not with us but with a Fortune Company.
I am glad he left.

He knew the cheap politics of Ceylon.
He was much younger than me.
