Why I Oppose Official Linux Distribution

A guy from ZDnet is proposing an Official Linux Distribution.
I consider by convey Debian Gnome is the de facto official Linux Distribution.
It is solid, stable and secure and by convention no propritarry stuff.
But it has over 60,000 apllications.
Its Kernel changes every, 2 years.
It has a Testing Brach which I use and a Unstable Branch which test new softwsre when trouble free they are released to the Testing.
Debian has robust system and the desktop is only the front end.
Then of course anybody can build his or her version but any new stuff should be given back.
Copy Left.
No Cooy Right.
These events ZDNet guys want a robust Distribution to add their Cipy Right stuff and sell.
That is like a Bad Christmas Joke.
Linux does not need advice from ZDNet.
Long time ago I followed ZDNet.
I used  to subscribed to the Linux Magazine.
Being from CEYLON after retirement my Rupee retirement salary was tiny to work on dollars and pounds purchases.
So I quit Linux academic stuff but kept on Testing almost 90% of the Linux Distributions from 32 bit time.
I have my privacy Web Page Free long befire even Google came inti existences.
Google is my Work Horse, thank You GOOGLE for the free Blog Post.
I am not a YouTube guy but a text and books guy including Linux Bible.
I am currently finishing a book on Linux Essentials and it has gone beyond 500 pages.
Not for Royalties but as a Permanent Record. Any Royalties would go to my children by default.
