GNUinOS-deadalus_2025

GNUinOS_2025 is out.

Is is not bound by SystemD.

I am running it on BOX utility.

It reminds me of the old Trxt Based Installer.

I want to see whether I could install AbiWord.

I have no space in my NUC and I do not want to upset my GRUB boot record.

With its own desktop and Gnome only about 1500 files.

I am glad it has come back.

Kernel Series is only a little bit behind Debian Trixe.

It takes a hell of a long time.

It certainly does not miss any file needed for full installation.

I want to see its New Desktop.

It is amd64.

Installer failed and I could not see the dedktop.

It is sad it is not a Live Image.

Kiro Linux

 Kiro is a minimal, flexible, and fully customizable Arch-based ISO project built on top of ArcoLinux.

It aims to give users full control over their system by providing clean scripts and a modular structure for building their own customized ISO.

The default configuration includes systemd-boot, EXT4 filesystem, SDDM display manager, and two desktop environments XFCE and chadwm.

It is designed for power users and developers who want a base to build their personalized setups, rather than a fully loaded “out-of-box” distribution.

The build process is transparent, reproducible, and script-driven. 

The source code, build scripts, and configurations are all version controlled and open.

It also serves as the foundation for Buildra, another custom distribution project that uses Kiro as a blueprint.

This ISO is meant to be changed and built, not downloaded.

Cosmos Desktop-Warning

I just installed Cosmos Desktop on top of BlueStar Linux of ARCH.

It took over 1000GB and won't mount.

I immediately removed it and it too Wayland files along with it.

I am not a fan of Waylamd anyway.

However, Igot back my base and installed Cutefish instead which is elegant.

This does not apply to guys who are hooked to POP OS. These guys release half baked and incomplete desktops expecting the gullible to ask help.

Same ploy Ubuntu guys apply to fatten their coffers.

My advuce DO NOT use Cosmic desktop.

I am doing this to add few lines in my book against each desktop I have tested.

BlueStar has the most beautiful Plasma Desktop and I begin to like Development of KDE.

GNOME OS is functional but KDE desktop is long way from being functional.

MX Linux is way behind but for me Manjaro is the best. 

Mind you, I tested the latest imaged.

As I said KIRO is pretty Good and I dropped it because of the Variety Wall Papers open a backdoor.

I have no timr for Omarchy which does not live with other distributions.

බරපතලම කාරණය මුල් පිටපත් ගොඩ ගසා විනාස කිරීමය.

කාලිංග විනාශය වැනිය.

මෙයට දෙන නම මහාවිහාර සංස්කෘතික සංහාරයයි.

සිංහල බසට කිව්වේ හෙළ බස කියාය. අපට උරුම අක්ෂර මලාවකුත් තිබුනා.

පාලි භාෂාව ලාන්කික බසක් නෙවෙයි.

සංස්කෘතික මෙන් ඉන්දියාවෙන් ආදේශ උවකි. පාලි යනු බුදු දහමේ අර්ථය නිරුර්ථ කල භාෂාවකි

බොදු දහම අවබෝද කිරීමට ඇති ලොකුම බාදාව පාලි සහ එහි ව්‍යාකරනය.

මම ලොකු අනවබෝදයකින් සිටියෙමි.

බුදු දහම ඉගෙන ගැනීමට පාලි අනිවාර්යෙන්ම ඉගෙන ගත යුතුයි කියා මගේ මතයක් තිබුනා.

මම ලොකු පාලි ශබ්දකෝෂයක් මිලදී ගතිමි.

Dhamma යන වචනය යටතේ පිටු දහයකට වැඩි විස්තරයක්.

එය පසෙක තබා Bhikku Bodhi විසින් ඉන්ගිරිසියෙන් ලියන ලද  පොත් කියවන්න පටන් ගත්තා.

ඒ විතරක් නෙවේ සරල ඉන්ගිරිසියෙන් දහම් පොත් කිහිපයක් සංරක්ෂනය කලා.

සිංහලෙන් ලියන්න පටන් ගත්තේ ළඟදි.
