ARCH GRUB boot problems

ARCH is a pretty good distribution on its own but except for Mamjaro, two ARCH Kernels cannot sit in the same GRUB file.

Other ARCH was Cachy OS.

For a change I tried REBORN.

It has a beautiful Plymouth but did not boot Manjaro. Did not boot even Debian Gnome.

I went into overdrive and decided to install BlueStar Linux.

It is the most beautiful KDE Desktop I have used with ton of applications.

I had fallen out of it due to one minor problem. 

Cannot use the WiFi.

To be precise the password Registration failing.

That is no automatic update after first install and no Dedktop Selection.

With some trial and error procedure, I managed to configure the WiFi before clicking the install button.

It is currently updating at 94% level.

I hope it gets back my GRUB configuration file. This time I did not touch the mouse but watched the written updates on the console screen.

Patience is essential when installing.

I think it has updated the 22 files.

Takes 94% for the KDE Desktop and I cannot find Octapi. Takes all my resources and I cannot install AbiWord.

Boot Menu is in dark mode and I cannot read it. Besides, I need GNOME, my work desktop.

I am going to Reinstall Catchy OS on top of it. It failed for GNOME.

Problem was /root patition only 16GB.

Repartitioned it reducing the /home partition and incressing up to 21GB

22GB is the minimum, I give Debian, since I add several desktops later.

It worked. 

5GB for /home partition, since I do not download any iso imsge bigger than 4GB for testing.

Gnome take about 10GB.

Smallest Iso of 5.5GB is AntiX.

By the way, Cachy OS is very strict.

One Desktop.

If you select a Window Manager one may have to TOIL under Teminal to get a working desktop.

It is somewhat liberal on Browesers.

I stand to correction now. 

I found Octapi and I have many Desktops now including Cosmic. Pantheon does not work.

Octapi is a very elegant.

Manjaro is easy going and I give it's /root partion and /var partition liberal space.

If one installs BlueStar Linux it is prudent not to go for a Desktop at install and there is leeway with Octapi without a Desktop

I always use Octapi Cleaner to free cashe.

History of Ceylon and Tribes

History of Ceylon does not end in 5000 years.

It probably extends up to 150,000 years.

A skeleton was found in our sea which was estimated to be 150,000 old.

Balangoda man was between 30 to 50,000 old. They were not cave men but an advanced civilization.

Ibbankatuwa remains or tombs dating back to 700BCE shows where ashes of the dead were placed in pots. Muslims have destroyed these sites to destroy our heritage.
