Crystal OS

Crystal OS is an ARCH based distribution, seem to be inactive at present.
It is 1.9GB iso image and it needs Internet Connection for Install.
It is minimal and I hope its Developers activate it to catch up with Endevour OS.

It looks like it is GNOME based but some descriptions say it is CINNAMON based.
Cinnamon is heavy and I hope it sticks to GNOME.

Its Installer does not work or it connects to the home site.
I give up.

Why One Should Use Debian?

1. Reliable and STABLE
Ideal for Mission Critical and Productive Environment

2. Large repository which no other distribution can match

3. Strong emphasis on security

4. Frequent UPDATES

5. Numoros  Desktops from GNOME to KDE to Cinnamon to OpenBox to Enlightenment

6. New Kernels come in every two years and one can have Stable, Testing and Unstable
Unstable branch is for Developers to test new software before being released to Testing branch.

7. Long Term Support

Growth of Debian on desktop is steady and consistent but not dramatic.
It is 3rd behind UBUNTU and Linux Mint having a 10% Desktop use which was my target for Linux overall market share.
It is still around 5% and this year is good for all Linux Distributions. I want Crystal Linux to grab that opportunity.

Chimera OS that come from Spain has a different kernel BSD based.

If one wishes to go one Step ahead of time one should delve in to ARCH derivatives and I have got hitched to REBORN OS.
Others include:
MANJARO
Endeavor OS
CachyOS OS cutting edge distribution
BlueStar Linux
Guruda Linux for Games
Crystal OS
Omarchy OS
Chakra Linux
Chimera OS

REBORN OS UPDATE

REBORN OS latest has all the Dedktops, KDE, Cosmic and Catfish but when I tried Enlightenment Desktop it went into /var partition full mode with lot of space avaible in / root partition. This /var partition saga which in not there in Debian GNOME bit of a pain. I think I gave at least 8GB for /var and I am going to jack it up to 12GB. I believe all the additional desktops are accommodated in / var an CINNAMON takes about 1200MB and that is one reason I shun CINNAMON as a Desktop which include Linux Mint.
I am so used GNOME Desktop and rest are becoming antithesis to me and I am Installing them as an academic exercise.

By the way, I got BlueStar Linux in one/ root partition and it has GNOME in addition. I won't try CINNAMON on top of it, even though there is ample space.
Currently, Debian GNOME has a huge UPDATE. Debian is devoid of Blender and hope the Developers look in to what problems when it updates Forky Edition.

I want to finish editing my books and it is already coming to March and Chrismas Holidays have made some developers remaining in deep slumber.

BlueStar Linux UPDATE

BlueStar Linux
I installed the latest Image of BlueStar Linux. One of the images has a problem with UEFI (Warning).
One should configure the WiFi or Ethernet before installing.
One should install the basic (AVOID the Desktop) and use OCTOPI to install what one prefers.
OCTOPI is the best ARCH Package Manger.
I stared with
BlueFish
AbiWord
Vivaldi
Octopi and finally Gnome Desktop and used SDDM Plymouth to mount.
By the way, BlueStar Linux has the most beautiful KDE Desktop.
I started learning ARCH through BlueStar Linux and its GRUB is as good as REBORN OS which has become my favourite after Debian GNOME.
If you are new to LINUX I advice you to try BlueStar Linux because it has ton of application including Blender.

THANK You, guys and girls of Developer Team of BlueStar Linux.
You beat Linux Mint (Cinnamon Desktop) by many a mile. I have got GNOME on Mint Desktop using Synaptic Package Manager. I had to install Synatic using FLATpak. Mint has its own application store and I do not like Sandboxed applications since they duplicate and consume more resorces.
PackagevMangers are:

1. APT of Debian which I love.

2. SNAP of UBUNTU (I do not use UBUNTU but nevertheless test it. It has a good GRUB). Packages are installed in /var and make sure you have at least 20GB in /var partition or esle let UBUNTU usebone big /root partition.

3. FLATpak is platform independent.
Debian GNOME integrates FLATpak with the system utilities.

4. App Images which I never used.
No need in my case.
