Tribute to Antony Green- Computer Guy in Politics

I am a computer guy.
I never used a computer to do election analysis.
I collect all the election results post-election of Ceylon and analyse them mentally over a month or so and try to retain in my brain.
I do get involved in the next election three months ahead.
I said Anura won't get 50% but at best 45% and he got 44%.
I left Ceylon 3 years ago knowing economic hell will break out in Ceylon.
I am already proven correct.

But in Australia it is completely different.
This guy Antony Green has everything in his new work of computers and he predicts outcome of every seat.Amazing talent.
He retires today.
I hope he takes up Linux from today and save lot of money for his computers.
Linux is everywhere including NASA.
I have not seen Linux guys involver in election politics at all.
We need a guy like home to guide us politically.
I am a labour man deep at heart and that does not mean I hate conservative politics but I am at odd with Liberal Party in UK and it was just coming into politics when Thathcher was heading UK when I left UK.
I never touch foot on UK ever since who are supporting and finaving Ukraine War while elderly are switching off energy to save money for food.
I am glad I left UK.
Australians are as in cricket down to earth people.
I hope they lead global politics away from American Hegemony.
Ukraine War was engineer in America.
Australia did not send it foot soldiers to Ukraine but sent som vold rickety military hardware or battle tanks.

I abhor all firm of war from Vietnam War.
It is 50 Year Anniversary of Vietnam War.
Australia lost little over 500 of it's men there and over 3000 were injured.

I welcome Donald Trump's policy that no American should die in a foreign land for somebody else political war.
This does not mean I am supportive of Russia.
Russia lost 27 millions against German Hilter's army and protected this world.
Give due respect to that fact.
Russians are great people of this world.

They are no aliens.

Victory falls on this month of Wesak in which we celebrate peace and harmony in the entire world.

We do not want War Mongers any more.
Dome with Biden and Military Industrial Complex which MI5-6 are part of.

Finish Testing ARCH Linux

I have finished testing ARCH Linux.
Manjaro Linux was the only Link x that can coexist with my Gnome.
1. BlueStar Linux is the most beautiful KDE.
It's GRUB is best out of the lot but has glitches when there is anothe Arch Linux in the system.
No coexistence.
2. Reborn Linux had lot of features but cannot live with other ARCH distributions.
3. Endeavour OS is the most minimal of all three but GRUH incompatibility.
I think vmlinux is configured.
4. ARCO Linux, CatchyOS, Bunsen Linux, Boron and Berrylium are minimal distribution and are almost dormant and no updates upto two years.
Buck up guys and girls of these distributions.
All in all ARCO Linux is becoming User Friendly.
Thank YOU.

Gnanath Obeysekara the Pompous Academic

This guy was more out of the country than in as an academic.
His office was there but he was never in.
I haven't seen him but I used to hear some arts students talking about him behind his back.
Arts students hated him.
He was more British than average human can be.
He was supposed to big and he probably used his imposing figure to his advantage.

To me he belongs to the guys who (Ganath- Gna Deviyanta Yathi) who believed in many number of Hindu Gods which is an antithesis to Dhamma Teachings.

Anthropology is alien to us as a scientific guys and I think we had a few books in the medical library but nobody borrowed them.
In my later years I was interested in the evolution of human brain size and there was a book in anatomy which desktop into detail.
I used to photopcopy the relevant sections especially evolution of language skills.
There is a language center in the brain but no religion center at all.
By the way, all religions are all man made.
This book was stolen by a medical guy.
I traced the borrowing register and tacred this acadmic guy and blacklisted him for life.
He is fortunately dead and that book must be in his attic or sold to the newspaper collector to wral chick peas.
Library books are public and for sharing.
Now this guy supposed to have a big collection at home. If he purchased them or somebody donated them to it was OK.
It is a rich tradition to give a book as a gift.
Late Professor Lobes (Polish) gifted me a big book on nature (UK).
I have large collection of books and quite a number on Buddhism and lot on Linux.
These white ants must be eating them as a delicacy since I am here in Australia.
Quite number I burned before leaving since the stuff in them do not belong to scientific traditions.
Now let me dish out a real story.
This guy ended up as a firesic pathologist.
I had a book on UNO, Human Rights and Fundental Rights.
In my leisure I use to read bit by bit.
This guy who descended from Indian Chetties asked it from me saying he would return it in two days.
I never got it back.
Guy died of a gall bladder cancer and when I saw some of his irratic behavior, I told him I want to see him privately.
He would have thought it was about this book. I asked him few question related to his diabetes and told him his symptoms are not due to diabetes but something different.
Go see a proper consultant.
He did not.
Soon after I left the University to join NawaLoka for a Management Training job.
The idea was for the Navaloka to get the National Quality Accedtion. We spent over Rs.500,000/= for this over 18 months.
Mind you it included kitchen, too.
Few years later I went to NawaLoka for some test for one my friends. His claim was that he had done the same test in 3 different hospitals and got to three different results.
I told him follow these instructions to the letter and go to a particular person (he was a Kandy man now managing the laboratory not at NawaLoka ) get it repeated and if the results come bad come to me.
Result came as normal.
All ended up well.

Now to the CRUNC Points.
1. 40% of the illnesses one can make an accurate diagnosis ( including postmortems)
2. This can be extended to 60% by through investigation and research.
3. 40% can never be diagnosed.

My research work well past 50 years was to test this theory and I am glad to say it confirmed it without much a do.
It not "much a do without anything".
This was done to get my increments and confirm in a substantial post.

The important point I forgot.
One should do the research in Ceylon and they should be relevant to our wellbeing and not to foreigners.
We sent 25 guys to Japan only two came back and out of the 23 who did not come only one paid back the bond which was about Rs.30,000/=.
The money allocated for research is not enough. I spent Rs.500,000/= on my own which was saving from UK.
My plan was to cover that expense by selling my books based on my work.
I did not give them to my alma mater.
Money came partly from J.I.C.A. and partly from the University but the amount was not enough.

But I found a way to get -20 degree Fridge to store temperature sensitive enzymes which are very expensive (stock enzymes).

Back year 2000 we had a grand (WHO sponsored) symposium to train young ones in the University on primer preparation in genomic studies.
Our attempt buy one for our lab failed but that is time I rejoined the University well past fifty and remained in Ceylon and spent my sabotical leave in Ceylon except visiting Singapore to buy my old laptop which is very slow but working fine.
I have migrated to Mini PCs and the two I have are working fine.
Buying a laptop is waste of money if one is not using it daily.
My recommendation is Tablet with big face, perhaps one which can be linked to a keyboard or lap-base.

I had a healthy relationship with J.I.C.A from 1988/89.
This is when we in IMMI collaborated with JICA and developed the J.E.B. Vaccine in Ceylon.
This is where RAW and DJVP collaborated a plot to kill innocent people and I was 4th in the list.

One may wonder why this long piece.
I am a computer guy and I am trying to coexit ARCH derivative with Gnome and it is hitting some GRUB boot obstacles.
I fiddked with the partition table and ARCH cannot read it.
While running the System I am doing this piece.
Inconsistencies are due to that.
This is about Our School Teachers.
In mid 1980s I decided to come home for good from UK.
One of the guys asked what I should take home. I said I need to donate a few computerd to my school.
I got not one three and I could not carry them with my heavy lugasge.
We made some arrangement for TRICO to deliver them later.
Few months later they arrived and I met the principal and got it established. Little later we got a GP in UK to 50 odd computers to Faculty of Medicine. I was invited there since I had very cordial relationship with the Library Staff.
So got a guy from our school to do the Samba binding and it was running smoothly and the academic staff was given five on the side of the library staff.
I was working in the Dental Faculty and I could not reserve a seat there but had to go to the student's side. I did not want to occupy a student seat and stopped going to the library for good. I had my own computer in my room from JICA and at that time we did not have Internet.

So I got activated and with the help of  social club and did a Samba binding for our faculty independent of the University.
Now coming to my school. I forget about the computers is our school and I got another five computers from another source. So one day without any appointment I went to the school and met the master in charge of science and told him I want to meet the teacher in charge of the computer section.
He said OK.
With some difficulty I met him and said I want to see the computers. He did not know I was the one who was instrumental in getting the first three computers.
He declined to open it.
Probably they were dismantled beyond use.
I came back to the principal ( not mater in charge of science) and told him I came to donate five computers and this is how I was treated and won't walk into this school in my life time and came home.
This was similar to the my view that I would not visit Maligawa until the current one is disposed.
Well my computer is on with the new Operating System.
Good Bye.
