Wyndham Philip Island is a Bird Paradise

Yes, Wyndham Philip Island is Bird Paradise.

Ramada Hotel chain has established a massive Resort  with 210 villas numbered from 101 to 311.

Villas are spacious and have two or three rooms.

One has to book in advance to enjoy the quiet luxury.

Our stay was very short on our way to see the Penguin Parade.

I am a Linux guy and our Logo is Penguin!

The birds who are numerous to name and I picked up only three names.

No sparrows but a birds the size of a sparrow are plenty.

Purple hen
Spur winged Plover
Cape Barren Goose

The magpie of course, I did not like.

They come in to steal the food left out on the table.

Resort facilities include;
Gymnasium
Indoor pool
Indoor spa
Outdoor pools
Outdoor spar
Games room for children including a pool table
Tennis Court
Karts
Walking tracks
Barbecues
A guest laundry

We were busy could not play a snooker game or go Karting.

Wifi is available and TV needs to be connected through one's cellphone.

One need not cook and food is available at Flametrees Restaurant.

We had one meal at Flametrees but rest cooked.

We took enough fish to cook and I remained a vegetarian with lot of fruits as the compliment.

House Keeping

Housekeeping is not available but (2 and 3 bedroom) villas are equipped with washers and dryers.

One is encouraged to reuse towel when possible.

The weather, even in summer is cold with Northerlies and Westerlies determined the wind directions and the temperature.

Whether is very pleasant in summer time.

The generally nocturnal Brushtail possums   can be spotted around the villas looking for food.

One has to keep doors and windows closed to avoid unauthorized entry of the wild beasts.

Roads are littered with birds' droppings and your car needs a general clean up after a visit.

We were lucky the overnight rain cleaned the roods and the car top.

We did not have to wash the car.

Do not park under trees and garages are missing by default but there is ample space in front to park for two cars.

We had two cars one rented.

Back of the villa is open to the wild and one cannot take the car to the backyard.

One should not throw food to the birds and possums.

That is the cardinal rule to protect wild life.

Kick the Cricket (Chalk) Bucket, Ceylon Style

Kick the Bucket is short term for somebody, unexpectedly dying.

Ceylon Cricket is not dead yet.

Our Selection Committee is trying hard to kill it.

First let me say something about the Chalk Bucket for a newbee in cricket.

Chalk was used in good old days to paint the  cricket boots.

Nowadays it is used to paint the various lines in the middle of the wicket.

Coming to cricket politics, if we used the Ground Boy (who paint the batting and bowling creases) instead of Angelo Matthews, Ground Boy would nave batted better, fielded better and would have hit a few sixes at number 6 position.

Ground Boys and the Ground women who look after the grass pitch, on the middle are fondly remembered, here.

Their services are very important.

Angelo deprived the place of a young player.

If he is mature enough he would have believed so and would have declined playing  and thus allowing a younger player to fit in at number 6.

Besides, he would have preserved his averages.

He still has time to quit this tournament faking an injury.

Faking injury is his forte and his modus operandum!

If he really wants to be useful, he should push the heavy roller with the groundsman.

That would certainly improve his fitness.

I generally won't watch cricket, if Angelo is playing.

I watched his innings today, only to write this piece.

Regarding Dimuth Karunaratne, he was one who (with other younger players) got us out of the doldrums and qualified Ceylon for this tournament, playing all the vital qualifying round games.

Netherlands and Ceylon qualified and unfortunately West Indies were left out.

I would have preferred West Indies qualifying, instead of Netherland.

Dimuth was unceremoniously dished out in favour of Kusal Perera (who was a pain to watch), unjustly.

Chris Silverwood should have played Dimuth Karunaratne at Number 6 instead of Angelo (when really, some of the fast bowlers are bowling at the tail end).

It would have been a good spoil and we would have made 270 runs.

We need to train a young guy to join Pathum Nissanka, instead of Kusal Perera.

I hope Dasun Shanka would recover soon and keep leading the team.

Cricket is all about runs and wickets and nothing more.

I am hoping to write a book in English, on the plight (betrayal) of Ceylon  Cricket from Politics to bad Administration.

Kick the Bucket Syndrome of Ceylon Cricket would be its Title.

By the way, I hate the Women Commentator  who should be sent to comment on Kindergarten Cricket Commentary.

I won't watch any more of this tournament but there are lot of old pensioners whose pastime is watching cricket.

Few of them would end up, with heart attacks if not Myopathy of Coronavirus Vaccination.

According to the reports, there is a higher incident of strokes, in vaccinated guys and girls.

Beware!

House Sparrows

I am a bird lover.
I noticed the decline is sparrows in Ceylon.
I could not find a single book.
Went to Singapore Birds Park to investigate.
I could fing a sparse population of sparrows in Singapore, too.
I found a single book in the Singapore University Library.

Finally, I discovered that the insecticides used in agriculture get deposited in ovaries of these birds and make them infertile.

There are 5 types of chemicals in each grain of rice.

I react to one or many of these chemicals and now I won't eat even a grain of rice.

The entire world is polluted, the water, the soil and the air.

During coronavirus pandemic, I noticed our birds population especially parrots increased in number.

But sparrows have not regained its numbers.

When people do not have things to eat and practically starving (one meal out of three) even stray dogs population go down in numbers.

Sparrows cannot survive in the wild and depend on human for survival!

That is the bottom line.

Leeuwenhoek and Microscope

It is little over 300 years of the invention of the Microscope.
360 years!

I would have never become a medical guy, if not for this instrument.

I once asked, a guy who is a supply agent to the university to get me down a digital microscope.
He did not help me.
I did not have dollars in my hand and the government want grant me any.
So for my luck, I had little money from the royalties on the sale of books.
I got one for my research work.
It is a Student Microscope from America and they gave some discount, too.

Elon Musk has said he will give a big bonus to Wikipedia if the name is changed to Dikipedia.

I have not contributed (signed in once) any to Wikipedia.

Kick the Bucket Syndrome or Vaccine Abreactions

1. When scientists lie and WHO guys and Girls help in the cover up procedures, mankind has no room left for recovery.

2. 17 millions died due to Vaccination Mishaps.

3. My prediction having perused old data up to 100 years was 20 million deaths in 20 years.

Due to the vaccine induced deaths the correct figures related to the Wild Virus can never be estimated.

If somebody dies after 14 - 21 days of vaccination it should be taken as a vaccine related death.

4. WHO should have declared it as a Pandemic within 48 hours after receiving verified, fact checked, "Evidenced Based" data but it failed.

5. There was a delay of 5 months.
The infection started spreading in China in September, 2019.

I have recorded these data obtained from Internet in my book on "Coronavirus, who Cheated us Locally and Globally".

6. It was an enterovirus that became a respiratory virus by December, 2019.

7. China reported it to WHO on the 31st of December (China waited till the very last day).

8. WHO was on Christmas Holiday and China knew that they can buy another 6 weeks to put the house in order when the WHO fact finding team arrives (they were not virologists) in Wuhan.

A Second WHO team had to go there for sampling.

9. Finally in March 2020, they declared it as a global pandemic without a strict protocol (of adherence).

10. Come to Ceylon

Our Politicians were more interested in holding elections in September, 2020 and violated the WHO protocol.

11. The election campaign helped to spread the disease.
Navy camp was infected.
Police officer who went to report the death of the Navel officer spread the disease to Badulla.

12. It was a highly contagious disease and a team of Indian guys managing a Garment Industry in Negamboo brought us another virulent strain.

13. Military Incarceration
The isolation program was taken over by the military.
Military did not have a clue how to handle (detect, isolate and quarantine) the spread of the disease.

This should have been left to police with PHI and Health Ministry officials administering the quarantine.

Instead, military had an ad hoc plan with incarceration of suspected individuals in Teacher Training Colleague in Kandy without isolation cubicles.

14. Teachers got infected and schools were closed.

15. Match was over and the government doctored the data and lied to the WHO.

16. We do not know how many died in Ceylon.

17. By the way, CIA operated 32 Biolabs in Ukraine to develop a virus to kill Russian President Putin.

Only Russians were targeted.

18. Russian Intelligent service got the wind of this program and within a week of Ukrainian offenses, they managed to get hold of these samples.

19. Bio-Weapon is prohibited and WHO did not do anything to stop Offshore American Bioweapon Industry.

Thanks to CIA and Zelensky this industry is still thriving in China with US AID.

20. 90% of the WHO AID is coming from America and they (WHO) dare NOT talk back on American propaganda and protocols.

That is the bottom line.

21. We started using alcohol as a disinfectant and that had the desired effect.

My advice was to disinfect the gut by drinking alcohol twice a day.

Our Alcohol industry had a welcome revival!

Because 90% of Ceylonese are alcoholics and alcohol saved us from the pandemic.

I stopped taking alcohol since the tax was 150%.

I remained house bound for 2 years.

22. I left the most important point to the last.

Singapore Airline was instrumental in spreading the disease globally.

Singapore Airlines took the virus to Austria and from there to the caucus.
Austrians suppressed the data on behalf of Singapore Airlines.

End result the price of a ticket went up by 5 times.

I had to pay Rs.500,000/= for a ticket valued at Rs.87,000/=.

I will stop travelling.

Even, Singapore flight was Rs.25,000/=.

Why travel with high fare?

There was mighty International Symposium in mainland China and in Hong Kong to promote trade from China.

Aim was to make  "Cheap Chinese" reproductions, including Apple Mac.

Even Apple decided to have its trade roots placed, there.

This was a month long Trade Fair.

Singapore Airline took the virus to far away places as far as Falkland Island.

23. In Ceylon we identified coronavirus in ice cubes used by our seamen.

Frozen food to Falkland would have helped  the virus a free ride.

That completes the story.

Let me come back to Vaccine Saga!

I almost kicked the bucket within 10 days of  Moderna Coronavirus Vaccine.

Thankfully it did not effect my higher centers.

I recorded every symptom I had, including big sore (stress ulcer) in my forearm (not the vaccine site which had additional inflammatory reaction) and recorded them in this blog site for posterity.

It has affected all my upper body skeletal muscles including my hand muscles but my lower limbs muscles are OK.

It affected my typing skills with the keyboard.

I was a good short distance runner that may have given me some extra muscle mass in my legs to weather the storm.

24. Deaths

Three young boys under 35 died in the same weekend after the vaccination.

One of them was one of my classmate's son.

Myopathy or myocarditis this "Spike Protein" enters the muscle and take over the ribosomal mechanism in the Golgi apparatus.

25. CDC Culpability

My question is why CDC guys are not taken into custody.

I have renamed this scenario " Kick the Bucket Syndrome" for public consumption!

Let me talk about pandemics in general.

Pandemics

1. Rare

2. Not often severe

3. AIDS/HIV not recognized for 20 years
1981

During the Second World War, the Germans were using a strain of African Monkey Kidneys for cell culture. Germans research workers were  homosexuals and they contacted the virus from the wild monkeys.

African were partially immune.

They brought AIDS to Germany.

Not very well recognized (affected homosexuals more often than not) for over 20 years.

We still have not found a solution!

4. Influenza

1918
1957
1968
2009
2020-2023

5. Many organizations including WHO forgets the last pandemic.

It is rare for a guy to stand in office for two major pandemics.

They have either moved out or retired from the organization.

Only exception is Anthony Fausi of CDC.

He was there for over 25 years.

6. Delay in Recognizing and Reporting.

7. Artificially constructed virus by genomic manipulation of gain in function coding by furin segments inserted before the putative proprotein.

Furin proteolytically activate proprotein segments.

It is a membrane bound endoprotease localed in the Golgi apparatus.

This is my bone of contention.

It is an artificial virus!

Communication Theory

1. Source
Expert vs non expert

2. Who is the sender
Domestic vs International
Expert
Politician
Health Care person
Lay person
Channel is official
Traditional or non traditional
Social Media

3. Who is the receiver
Destination vs Receiver

4. Message itself

The purpose of the message

Information

Instruction

Integrity

5. Feedback

How
Who
Where

Responds depends on the integrity of the available information.

Patten in 2020-2023 Pandemic

1. Rapid Spread
2. High mortality
3. High hospitalization
4. High Clinical Severity
5. No treatment
6. High communicability

Communicability

1. Closed spaces
2. Crowded places
3. Close contact

Vaccine have no Proven Effect but can kill innocent people.

1. mRNA
2. Adenoviral vector
3. Adjuvant protein
4. Inactivated whole virus

Theory of Analogy

Goes back to Aristotle.

1. More the similarity (between two domains) the stronger is  the analogy.

2. More the differences weaker is the analogy

3. Greater is our ignorance of the two domains the weaker is the analogy.

4. Weaker is the conclusion then more plausible is the analogy.

5. Analogies of causal relationships are more plausible than analogies of non causal relationships.

6. Structural analogies are stronger than superficial similarities.

7. The relevance of similarities and differences to the conclusion (hypothetical analogy) must be taken into account.

8. Multiple arguments supporting the same conclusion makes the argument stronger

Last point makes me to conclude that WHO failed and is the White Elephant in the room.

We must put the elephant into cold storage with the virus.

Please Note

17 millions died due to vaccine, alone!

Emergency authorization sparked a wave of non professional companies entering the  vaccine programme and packaging BAD vaccines.

I have a theory, that the Russian Vaccine caused more deaths.

It was felt that dying in battle decimating American proxy Ukrainians was better than dying due to coronavirus.

The rag tag battalions were streamlined and were sent to the frontline.

50,000 Ukrainians deaths to 5000 Russian deaths.

Proxy war helped Russia more than Ukrainians.

If fact, deaths in Ukraine war mitigated the vaccine deaths (lumped into war dead).

This is true of UK vaccines too.

More elderly (over 55) in UK died due to the vaccine.

Astra-Zenika vaccine dished out to African countries was (a false flag operation) a sham operation.

The change of UK Premiership is a case in point who did not follow the protocol but hooch parties in Downing Street!

Hooch was protective (see above) to rich politicians.

The bottom line is less (less than 1% death in Wild Viruses) people die of the natural virus.

The greed of the companies nullified the credibility of vaccination protocols globally and very importantly in America.

It has become a political issue and not a medical issue.

Action should have been;

Evidence based, Data Driven
Decisive
Educational
Informative
Coordinated

Solidarity with the public concern.

The general public has to be taken into account not Airlines and World Economic Forums.

American hegemony is now giving way to BRICS!

These points had a nose dive during the pandemic.

Ceylon Politics and Alternative Media Channels

I have a "Self Imposed" conviction that I should not talk two topics.

1. Ceylon Cricket and current players.

I may not talk about cricket even after the tournament.

It is pity that the birth place of cricket England cannot score 200 in an Internal Game.

Cricket is British Birthright.

English people let it slip to Indian Grip.

I hope to reverse this trend cricket should be made an Olympic Game.

Then only it can gain its Global rightful place.

2. Current Politics and current politicians

I will not talk about any politician or give any publicity to the campaigns.

I will remain as a keen observer.

However as an average citizen, I would talk about their common problems.

That is the duty of a doctor even well into retirement.

I am in the Bolshevik Group.

The Russian who wrote about average man was a doctor and he worked with patients with tuberculosis and he died of tuberculosis.

There was no treatment for tuberculosis, then.

That was his dedication.

There are number of alternative channels in Ceylon.
Most of them are Gossip Columns and not real Talk Shows.
Their only ploy is to get some patreon contributions.
Money spindling.

Many will pop up like mushrooms when election is declared.

Citizen Problems are many.

1. Hunger

2. Day to Day income is not sufficient to meet ends.

3. Perennial debt to the corner shop.

4. Shortages and C.W.E. has no plan.

5. Cooperatives are surrendering to a political party.

I am one who has worked to uplift cooperative system and advocate Cooperative Banking System.

Unlike a capitalistic banks, with COOP Banks the profits are shared with the stake holders.

There are robust Laws and Bylaws in COOP System.

COOP can run Banks, Hospitals and Whole Sale Establishments.

Training Good Managers is the bottom line.

If this is given to a political party the Real Objective of the Establishment is nullified.

6. Inequality of Educational opportunities.

7. Tuition Masters and farmer

8. Problem with access to water for drinking.

9. Problem with access to water for farming

10. Draught

11. Floods

12. Sanitation and toilet facilities.

13. Disposal of waste

14. Mosquito problem

15. Scavenger dogs and rabies

16.  Drugs and ICE.

17.  House flies

18. Pandemics especially water borne.

19. Gambling

20. Alcoholism

21. Smoking and Ganja

22. Domestic violence

23. Suicide

24. Religious animosity

25. Ethnic animosity

26. Political violence

27. University System

Has fallen below global standards.

28. Computer Literacy and Linux Solutions
No domestic plan and subjected to global monopolies.
Good example is spending money on an expensive Apple Mac. The money spent on Apple Mac can be better used with several non proprietary devices.
Tablets and NUC utilities have come down in prices.

29. Law an Order

30. Draconian Laws to be passed.

31. Dictatorship

32. Demise of  Democracy

33. MAD or Utter Political Madness

34. Ailing Transport system

35. Problem of bulk transport

36. Neglect of Railway System

37. Selling of Telecom Infrastructure

38. Selling of Satellite Infrastructure

39. Selling of Utility Infrastructure

40. Selling of Port Infrastructure

41. Last we will sell our self esteem

None of these problems can be solved by having an election.

It is a powder keg about to blow up!

Anarchy would be the outcome.

Guys in the parliament have no clue on any of these items except Alcohol and Drugs.

I have the experience and knowhow in few of these topics but have no inclination to get engaged in any in my twilight years.

By the way, Russia had most of the above problems including  famine, poverty and pandemics during First World War.

But by Second World War Russia had overcome many of those problems. They pushed Germans out of Russia and the Eastern Europe.

American cities and suburbs are dirty and poor people live on streets and they are scavenging food from dustbins.

Russian cities and suburbs are clean.

Nobody scavenges on dustbins.
There is system that protects the vulnerable.

At the same time raise a huge army to protects the motherland.

That is the paradox of capitalism.

Rich have all including private jets and the poor eats from dustbins.

By 2020 Russia could stand up to American Hegemony and it has defeated the proxy war in Ukraine.

Now America is embroiled in Israel war.
Israel is their creation to dominate Middle East oil revenues.

America thrives only on War.

That is the total MADNESS!

While all these happening BRICS is emerging as an alternative monetary system.

The creation of Israel war is to scuttle Muslim assertion.

Hamas, Taliban and I.S.I.S are American creations. They are now going against their creators.

Idea was to divide the Palestinians into two groups.

It looks like they are joining hands.

15. When browsing the web for a useful topic, the troll is the first thing that pops up.

16. When one is watching cricket live, the most interesting thing happens when you have run to the loo, for a quick one.

17. If one desperately wants to come out a boring meeting, that is very moment, the stupidest question is asked.

18. When you want to give a call to attend to a urgent matter is when you realize you do not have the number with you.

19. When you decide to send a card to someone is the time you realize you have misplaced the address.

20. The duty free bottle is the first thing one should load to the trolly since when you come round the duty free corner you have already spent all the extra cash in your hand.

21. Only when one is in front of the pharmacy one realizes the prescription was left at home.

22. "Remind Me" note is the first thing you lose in the morning.

23. Switching off the cellphone at bedtime is the thing, one always forget.

24. Getting rid of "Pile Up Things" is very hard if one does not do it on weekly basis.

25. If you accidentally misplace your key, the first thing one should look at is the dustbin!

26. If the dustbin can speak many mysteries can be solved without the help of a forensic investigator.

Cricket in General and How to Play

I believe, cricket should be included in Olympics, but in what format (I hate 20 over matches) is a Big Ask.

I think Indians are ruining this game.

Having said that, Nawab of Pataudi, one eyed great cricketer of old time and current player, Virat Kholi of class, are appreciated in the cricketing stardom.

Brian Lara was a class act.

West Indians not in the current tournament is an object lesson how Indians ruined this game.

It all started with Indian IPL, money and Bollywood prostitutes.

I never watch IPL.

It is not the place for actors like Zelensky.

Like Zelensky does not fit with a military fatigue, the Bollywood girls do not fit with a cricket bat (they should be treated with a different bat).

IPL and 20 over game is the ploy Indians used to destroy young players' of their stamina.

For example take the West Indies guys who were lured to IPL and destroyed with money and Bollywood prostitutes.

Christopher Gayle is the classic test player with a highest total of 333 runs. Just look at his averages from Test Cricket, 50 over and 20 overs.

A drastic drop!

Not only he ruined himself he ruined West Indian Cricket.

I totally agree with West Indies Cricket Board for dropping Chris from the Test side.

The same thing happened to Ceylon Cricket.

We were in ruins after IPL.

Our team had to qualify to enter this tournament and they were NO good compared to 1996 Team.

They are currently in the 10th position and will remain so.

I do not blame our coach Chris  Silverwood.

Blame should go to the Selection Board and Cricket Board.

Our Minister of Sports never played cricket and he authorizes the team.

Angelo Matthews coming through political influence is the case in point. He is going to ruin a career of one of our young players.
He favours homosexual players into the team. That is how he came in that is how he ruined our team.

I must say this before the England game, today. If he is playing I would not watch the game.

Yes I have already getting ready for a outing.

Cricket in General

Let me give a general cricket lesson now.

One of my classmates was a cricket fanatic from school days. He died a year ago. It was not related to a heart problem.

If he lived to this day, my own prediction is by now he would have had a heart attack watching our cricketers playing in India.

I won't get a heart attack but I would dish out a scathing criticism (Reflectively, I did want to write this after the tournament).

I feel my comments become out of place, if I remain silent, now.

This in no way a reflection of my deceased friend's love for cricket but my way of exiting cricket for good.

Yes, I won't watch this tournament.

Yesterday was a good game.

I predicted it and told our family members to watch and went to sleep.

When I woke up Pakistanis were playing the 43rd over. Before I could prepare a cup of tea, they were all out.

Rules of the game.

1. Openers should play only 10 overs and they should take the shine out of the ball and if possible with hard hitting change the shape of the ball so that spinners can have a go.

I do not agree with umpires having a ball at both ends.

2. Openers should score at least 30 runs, the minimum.

3. Total score should be 300 the minimum. Any addition is a bonus.

4. If one of the openers fails the remaining opener should make good the lost score (if is out for 10 he should go on to make at least 50).

The good example is our Gurusinghe. He kept the other end solid when Sanath failed.
Must not forget, dedicated contribution of Mahanama, Hashan Thilakeratne and Chaminda Vas.

It was Team Effort!

5. The next point is important.
We should have at least two players who can play from 1 to 6 like Kaluvitharane.

At this point I should mention, a guy who ruined this 1 to 6 rule.

It was Angelo Mathews!

He came as a bowler and never bowled 3 overs in a game.

His plan was to come at 5 and score quick 50 and remains not out and keeps an average of 60 overall in a losing game.

The game plan is to show he an accumulation of runs not a game winner.

I can remember in a game when Chandimal was nearing a century and we were about to lose the game he was playing for personal glory not the team glory.

Chandimal of course, was caught in a cricket offense and was punished inappropriately hash to ruin his career.  Steve Smith who committed the same offense is playing this tournament.

Instead of Angelo, Chandimal should be given a chance.

Chandhimal is much better player than Angelo.

That is my opinion.

Angelo was very selfish and has many other faults.

I am NOT glad he is (not) in the team.

I am pretty sure he would boast that, if he was there he would have rescued the team that he himself played a role in ruining.

Statistics can be manipulated!

6. I am against a bowler captaining the team for many reasons.

Muthiah Muralidhiram was an example.

7. English is not necessary for cricket, if your skills are good.

Ask for a translator so that you could prepare for the next probing question.

8. There are lot of difficult decisions to make that comes with experience.

How much one should score on a particular wicket. Doing some research on the last three years is mandatory.

Whether to bat first or bowl is another.

Weather of course, nobody can predict.

9. Having said that cricket should be played one bail at a time.

Last ball is past. It has gone.

The ball coming in next is the most important.

Focus on that.

Developing Meditation Skills on daily basis and reading a book one loves are important.

I do not think music helps.

10. Fitness on the field and good diet are important.

Alcohol only after a win and never after a loss.

11. On the field do not deliberate.
Be quick.

Do not let the batsman judge you.
Finish the over quick.

For a fast baller if your legs are aching tell your captain in advance.

12.Test class player can become a good 50 over player.
It is a matter of adjusting.

Good examples are Mahela Jayawardena and Warner.

50 over player can never become a Test player in my opinion.

The lessons one learns from 90 over game is limitless.

I am totally against having two teams.

One for 50 over and one for Test cricket.

That experiment failed. England is a good example.

Bringing out a good cricketer from school age should be the goal.

That is how we became champions and not from IPL. Our school cricket has gone down in quality due to many reasons.

This list can go up to 20 but first 10 points are good enough as the starter.

Evolution of Palestine

Evolution Palestine is a complicated story.

Ottoman Empire.

Fron 1517 to 1917 Ottomans controlled the Middle East.

During First World War England, France and Italy carved out portions of Middle East as their sovereign territories.

Turkey kept the remaining portion as its own territory.

Belgium did not have any.

There were many armistices and agreements and none was binding.

When British Mandate for Palestine was created to carve a State of Israel, it was recognized as a State by UNO in 1948.

Even though it was called Palestine Mandate, a country called Palestine was never made by the British.

Instead an entity called Palestine Authority was  established without a proper leadership.

However, Jordan and Egypt were allowed to administer these regions from 1948 to 1967.

The British idea of giving statehood to Israel was to scuttle any attempt of forming a country called Palestine.
Already (now over 70 years) established sovereign state of Israel could veto any boundaries drawn for Muslim inhabitants.

The British used the divide and rule principle in the Middle East to create a Jewish country.

The Jordon river that runs to Dead Sea makes natural boundary but Israel has noncontiguous land links to the Muslim residents dominant areas.

Gaza Strip and Westbank (west bank of the river) is collectively (including East Jerusalem) known as the Palestine Territory but under pressure from Israel UNO never recognized a Palestine State.

That is the crux of the problem.

In 1967 Israel annexed both Gaza Strip and Westbank by the 6 day war.

It occupies Golan heights from Syria, Westbank from Jordan and Sinai peninsula and Gaza Strip from Egypt.

The Sinai peninsula was later handed over to Egypt.

Gamal Abdul Nazar was the president during this war.

He became popular after nationalising the Suez  canal owned by British interests.

Israel (Refugees of the Second World War) treat Palestinians as refugees.

This bullish domination was created by British with blessing of USA.

It is natural for Palestinians to rise against the USA/UK sponsored Israel Hegemony.

Historically uprisings always resurface as a reaction to the oppression and it should not be labelled as a form of terrorism.

There is a natural succession.

Lebanon has Hesbulla fighters who are Palestinians.

Hamas are the Palestinians in the south.

The Mohenjo Jaro Harappan Civilization

It is in Northern Pakistan.
Sind District.

2500 BC till 1700 BC.
Discovered in 1919, 4000 years after its abandonment.
Excavation ended in 1960.
Largest city in the Indus Valley Civilization.
Stone blocks and walls are still evident of a large city.

Lost city of human history.
Structured around a grid system.
Buildings are separated by walls and roads.
This culture probably developed about 3000 BC. Thoroughly planned and designed.

Why this city was abandoned?

1. Huge Flood.
2. Political Unrest.
3. Lost Trading Partners.
4. Migration to a better location.
5. Draught
6. Not a warrior race and destroyed by Aryans a warrior and a plunder race.
7. Viral Infection and pandemics.

Arose around the Bronze Age.
Pakistan, India and Afghanistan.
Lasted 3300 BC to 1300 BC, nearly 2000 years.
10% of the civilization lived around this civilization.
Over 1000 settlement locations.

Harrapan
Dholevira
Binawala
Ganweriwela

They were traders or craftsman.
Built by easily destructible clay like material and were not baked to last. Either due to draught or over use of firewood the forest cover disappeared and rain stopped.
In fact, Global Warming.
Icecaps melting and perennial flooding.
Migrated to the water basin.
Built on raised platform to save from flooding.
But texts were written in baked clay tablets.
Prehistoric language called Dravidian.

In the center was a community center.

In the outer perimeter was the market place.

Granary.

Colleague Hall.

Many different pots and vases.

Singapore Cricket

I thought Singaporeans do not play cricket after British left.

I am wrong.

The Singapore Cricket Club is still functional.

It's main aim is to sponsor business meetings, weddings and rarely cricket.

It has a current tournament.

Malaysia
Singapore
Oman
Nepal are playing.

Singapore is all about business!

If they cannot earn $10/= per every ball played it does not sponsor a cricket game.

Then, every dollar is invested in the stock market and bookies.

The bookies are of course Cassino types similar to Arizona State in America.

That is how cricket is played in Singapore and never expect them to have a World Cup.

Gratitude and Reciprocation of Cricket (Kala Guna Salakeema)

This idea is not mine but a typical Sri-Lankan satirist's expression about our cricketers and cricket board.

His ranking is different but he is genuinely polite.

I am not going to be polite.

My ranking order is different.

I may pay gratitude to those who derserve.

1. Australia comes first.

We lost to Australia in cricket as a reciprocation of following dues.

Australia made our cricketers tough and we ended up champions in 1996.

Australia gave our Eurasians (Burgher Community) dignity and gave them refuge from Sinhala Basha hegemony and current Buddhist hegemony.

S.W.R.D destroyed our country's peace!

Australia is the best country to emigrate from Ceylon.

Expatriates are treated equally.

They give due respect to Aborigines.

They give equal dignity to all religions.

Venerable Ajan Brahma Wansa was spirited out of UK. Now, he is resident in Western Australia.

While doing all these they keep their Australian identity and the thick accent.

I met a young Australian guy in Sheffield University.
Sheffield has a sweet Yorkshire accent of Freddie Truman type.
I had the unadulterated Ceylonese accent. He did not engage in free conversation at all. It did not take my imagination to realize that, for him the Yorkshire and English accent were foreign.
I can imitate British accent but did not throughout my entire stay.

My / Our secretaries used to tell me, you speak clear English to the dictaphone but we hate Indian accent.

Fourte Fours four wickets type of Sunil Gavaskar.

2. South Africa

It was Nelsan Mandela who showed us stoicism.
Tolerance
Respect
Understanding

In cricket lot to write.

Basil Lewis D'Oliveira incident and banning from cricket for 22 years was important.

Then 25 guys from Ceylon toured South Africa and if I remember right Mahesh Gunathileka was banned from cricket for 25 years.

He joined CTC and later the cigarette advertisements were banned in sports.

He was an excellent opener even better than Maven Attapattu in my opinion. I used to drop in at his place while working in Kegalle.

My classic personality is Shaun Pollock who read the Duckworth Lewis system wrong and SA was eliminated from semifinals.

We qualified.

So as a gratitude to all this we must lose to South Africa.

3. Pakistan

Unlike India Pakistan had been with us all along.

Pakistan pilots did sorties to eliminate L.T.T.E.

They give us Basmati Rice.

When West Indies refused to tour Ceylon, Pakistan organized warm up matches for us.

Special thanks to Mohamed Azurdeen, Indian captain.

By the way, Indira Gandhi and RAW was responsible for L.T.T.E. atrocities.

So we will have to let Pakistan win.

4. Afghanistan

I cannot say anything good about Afghanistan.

They destroyed all the Buddhist  Statues.

Afghanistan was a Buddhist country and Tibetan Buddhism survived until Mongol invasion.

I think current  misguided Buddhist monks may obtain money donations from Afghanistan to erect replicas in Ceylon.

Talibans currently won't let woman to educate (treat them as slaves).

It is worse than apartheid and on that ground alone they should be banned from cricket for 5 years.

5. England

England gave us cricket and on that ground alone we should lose to England.

England gave us English.

England gave us independence without a fight.

Thank you England.

Worst Immigration policy in the world.

When I applied for  tourist tour in 2009 they declined.

I was working in UK for over a decade and I had Indefinite Visa and did not go there within 3 years. So they cancelled my indefinite visa.

I will never go there again.

I saved a lot money by visiting an Asian country.

6. Netherland or Holland

If I remember correct they build low lying water canals in Colombo, Ceylon to transport goods.

They told us how to brew good quality alcohol.

Thank you akvavit!

So our cricketers should taste a can of Danish alcoholic drink to calm the nerves before coming in for batting.

By the way, Holland gave administrative structure to the coastal region.

We even have thier names in our surnames.

Janz
Jansen
Van de Berg
Loos
De Jong

7.  Bangladesh

We cannot balance our budget without Bangladesh help.

We have to lose the match and ask for reduction in interest rate we have to pay.

Muslims do not ask for interest when they lend to a Muslim country.

8. New Zealand

We love New Zealand powered milk.
So on that ground we should forfeit our game to NZ.

Regarding New Zealand accent I have some memories.

I used to walk to the hospital.
I meet guys and girls on my way.

Dog shit all the way to the hospital and I walk with meditative attention.

I say Good Morrning.

I hear,

Ku De.  is Umbrella in my tongue!

Go De. is village guy in my tongue!

Then I ask my little daughter, What is it?

She says, Good Day.

I tell her to keep clear Ceylonese accent.

Improve your English.

When I am short of a word in English, she is always there to help me.

9. India

India created L.T.T.E.

With fear of possible another terrorist organization coming to being, we must lose to India.

Worse is the Indian accent in an Indian Airline.

I went to Bombay only once since I missed the Singapore connection to London.

There were Malaria mosquitoes in Bombay Airport.

Guys and girls Malaria can come after one year of incubation.

Mind you Indian Malaria is chloroquine resistant.

With South Africans in India WHO should do a follow up study on Malaria!

10. Ceylon

Seyland Bank is a derivative of Ceylon.

Lalith Kothalawela taught us how to cheat internationally.

LK's  money was cheated by late president just like he cheated the gold from L.T.T.E.

Gold was never deposited in the Central Bank but the Swarnawahini Channel and Swarnawahini gold chains came into existence.

By the way, Suwarnawahini is owned currently by Tamil diaspora.

I think they deserve it.

Origin of Russia

Largest land locked country spreading form East to West.
They are called Slavs but this distinction is not clear.

They are depicted as modern warriors.
Venedi a Germanic tribe.
Antes.
Slavic tribe.
During the expansion Slavic linguistic group the Russian ethnic group emerged in the middle ages.
Probably Swedish vikings.
Cossacks were defeated by Slavic of Russian origin.
Kiev was Russian territory.
Russians invaded the Byzantine (Greeks) in the Baltics.

Russe were not baptized.

Pagan and a worrier god for Russe against the Christian god.

Drinking is the Joy of Russians.
Russe later became Christians.
Russe fragmented to 12 regions.

Russia, Byelorussia and Ukraine were born.

On the Eastern front Mongols invaded Mongolia.
Lithuania conquered Byelorussia and Ukraine.
Russians defeated the Mongols and Tartars.

Poland-Lithuvanian commonwealth finally was defeated by Tsar of Russia.

First and Second wars consolidated Russian domination.

In 1991 U.S.S.R was dissolved and individual countries regained independence.

Russe Civilization

UKRAINE
Ukraine did not exist 1000 years ago.
Russe State was created by Vikings, consisted of Russia and Ukraine.
Vladimir the Great could be considered as the founder.
He introduced Orthodox Christianity from Byzantine (Greek) empire.
It integrated to different principalities.
Invaded by Mongols.

Cossacks 300 years ago created the modern Ukraine.

Russia occupied Kiev east bank Ukraine.

Poland ceded right bank to Ukraine.
Ukraine was under U.S.S.R.

Famine occured during Stalin's regime.

Steppe stretching from Ukraine in the West and Mongolia on the East.

History, conquests and migration have shaped its culture.

Dry and treeless.

Grasslands have given birth to horses, cattle and many grains.

Brain Virus, Opium or MAD

Yes religion is a brain virus.

It is worse than the kick one gets from opium.
Opium relieves pain and elevates mood.

But religion brings the worse out of any living human, Mutually Assured Destruction of civil society.

I cannot understand the logic of a man or woman who commits suicide in the name of a MAD religion.

I do not mind a priest killing himself but I cannot understand a follower killing oneself for the priest to live and propagate the nonsense.

The worst scenario is the priest who goes to the battlefield and gives blessing to the fallen soldier.

If the guy who is the priest is a wiser guy he should have prevented the war from starting.

The bottom line is this American Military Industrial Complex which perpetuates the eternal wars.

They got it wrong this time.

500,00 Ukrainians are dead and with 10 to 1 ratio about 5,000 dead Russian soldiers.

President Putin only wants to decimate the Military and M.I.C and he is achieving his target while saving his army.

Unlike in the World War II Russians are not prepared to sacrifice 30 million soldiers and civilians.

It is the Ukrainians who are dying not Polish or NATO guys.

This proxy war should NEVER have happened.

It was Regime Change in Russia that was desired.

It would be Regime Change in America and Israel.

Idea was to fine tune M.I.C and start a proxy war in Middle East.

Are we ready for World War III?

I guess not.

I do not hold a brief to Russians but I admire President Putin's resolve.

He is cool and calculated guy.

Only adult man in world politics.

Even Xi Jing Ping is shy in world politics.

He has his reasons.

Opium wars killed millions of Chinese!

Newspaper Blag Industry - UK

Word blag is a new word for me.

This is a technique used by journalist to obtain private / personal material by stealing information for tabloids and newspapers.

Current journalism is a dirty business.

But people love these episodes and perpetuate endless cycle of warfare on opposing parties (political parties included).

Modus operandi were

1. Hacking to personal telephones.

2. Hacking to credit card transactions

3. Hacking to Telecom Giants.

4. Hacking into databases

5. Hacking into Voice Mails.

6. Hacking emails

7. Even organizing burglaries

8. Planting drugs on a defenseless woman

They are independent of CIA and MI5-6 perennial ativities globally.

These big organizations are there to cheat their own citizens.

Often, they are retired police officers who operate the underground operstions.

They earn 10 times money the ordinary reporter's  earnings.

They sell these information to several newspaper organizations.

No single organization is free of these illegal activities.

The funny part is they keep a ledger, just like some underground operations.

Even, mafia play shy of these tactics.

I stop reading newspapers and later media like BBC, CNN and Fox News.

Ukraine War is their money spinner, faking news on daily basis.

Now they have shifted to Israel having exhausted Ukraine Saga with over 500,000 Ukrainians dead and corresponding similar number from Russia at least 50,000.

Alternative media have come up.

Not many but I listen to their YouTube presentations.

News come late on these alternative media but this is a healthy development.

Breaking Monopoly of big companies.

By the way, politicians have their own subsidiaries bidding for them.

Do not believe any of them.

Be vigilant!

Dimensions, Reason and Rationalizing

This piece is difficult for an unscientific guy.

Reasoning and Rationalising genomic identity can cause misrepresentation.

Therefore, I prefer mitochondrial DNA changes that occur roughly at 3 to 5 million year intervals, when humans diverged from primates.

The autosomal DNA losses are probably recent events that are either lethal or inconsequential.

Man lost 2 chromosomes from gorilla or those two, got tagged to another pair by chance.

When this happened humans lost body hair except hair on the head.

I believe the acquisition of language ability coincided with this event and the brain became inappropriately bigger.

Proving these events are almost impossible.

Reasoning and minimal rationalisation may be a way forward, biologically speaking.

By the way, amoeba has enormous amount of DNA in a single cell. Asexually dividing cell acquiring large amount of DNA is highly improbable but mutations and redundant DNA acquisition could be postulated. Without enzymes to digest ingested DNA material DNA would have accumulated and integrated by randomly.

Dimensional View of the Environment.

1. Let me start with an earth worm.
Earth worm does not have eyes but it has light sensitive cells.
It can sense day and night.
It has no ears but can sense vibration.

It has no brain but it is intelligent enough to come out at night and avoid birds.

This animal has two dimensional view of the world and only wiggle in two planes but angular motion is possible by bending the trunk.
Its genome has 20,000 genes with 70% homology with humans.

2. Caenorhabditis elegans
Tiny 1mm unsegmented bilaterally symmetrical worm.
Most important component in its body is contractile muscles.

It is bends it body dorsally and ventrally and when moving on a flat surface it tends to lie flat on the right side or the left side.

This worm's life is two dimensional.

Its neural system works to coordinate muscle movements has no brain but an anterior neural ring.

It has 350 to 380 neurons that are controlled by 20,000 genes.

80% homology with human genome.

In other words it has anterior caudal orientation.

3. Amoeba
This asexual unicellular organism has no brain or neuronal system so its whole life can be described as of one dimensional view, in whatever way it moves.

But it is masterly enough to dominate its sphere of influence.

It has 13,000 genes in 27 pairs of diploid chromosomes.

Humans have 25,000 genes.

Humans have 46 chromosomes.
Gorilla has 48 chromosomes.

Dog has 78 chromosomes.
95% homology to humans.

Elephant has 56 chromosomes and about 90% homology to humans.

By the way we have 40% homology to banana.

4. Human beings

Humans have unbelievable creational capacity. When they could not fathom a certain reality with only visual capacity they invented Microscope, Telescope and Electron Microscope.

Sending probes to space is the desire to widened the scope at least in 3 dimensions.

Human beings who live in a 3 dimensional world is restricted by the eyes to see in two dimensions.

Human beings have additional 5000 genes compared to Caenorhabditis elegans (20,000) to possess a brain and a pair of eyes.

But this 3 dimensional view is an illusion created by our brain.

Eyes see two dimensions.

The brain sees 3 dimension by imagining what it aught to be.

5. How about 4th dimension?

It is impossible.

The moment we possess the fourth dimension the whole world which we call our world would disappear into unthinkable Chaos.

6. Mental Dimensions

Four mental (delusional) states are possible with human mind.

These delusional states are interpreted as higher dimensions by their proponents.

BEWARE!

Alcohol induced Euphoria.

Ecstasy induced by (LSD) drugs.

Esotericism induced by Ayahuasca.

Trance States induced by Meditation practise

To understand the 4 states an individual undergoing,  one needs to be responsive and be wide awake (free of mood altering drugs).

They keep company with similar individuals.

There are no outwardly visible signs but are in unbelievable happy state.

Five accompaniments of Dyana.

1. Vitakka      applied thought

2. Vichara      sustained thought

3. Piti              Rapture

4. Suka.          Bliss

5. Ekaggata   One pointedness

All the above accompaniments have to shed to achieve Equanimity or neutral or non attached state.

Why no Comedians?

When guys and girls lose the ability to laugh at themselves, the humanity has lost a vital thread in evolution.

Today Americans and British can be passed off as Walking Dead.

They may have lot in their bank balance and in their investment funds but empty in happiness and laughter.

Is it worth?

I doubt.

I do not mean stand up comedians who say something absurd, on  the spur of the moment.

I do not mean satire artists.

I mean Real comedians.

If you take America for a moment the entire political system including lawyers who represent politicians are stand up comedians.

The problem is the average voter cannot laugh at them.

The voter can have the last laugh only at the poling booth and not before.

If we take Ceylon for example, we always select comedians to the parliament.

The problem is the moment they enter the parliament they lose the ability to laugh at their leader who is always a political comedian.

We get rid of one comedian and then replace another.

Current comedian is trying to Plot a Referendum Comedy to hold on to power till 2025.

Unfortunately, JVP guys and girls are becoming comedy actors.

The JVP is predicting that they can harvest 50% of the vote from a base of barely 3%.

That itself is comedy act.

It is better to have hopes.

Hope is no prediction, at all

Funny part is the YouTube presenters propagate their false hopes.

Voter is unpredictable and add to that we have 86 parties to make it precarious.

There will be minimum of 50 candidates for the next presidential election.

That itself is the volatile.

The ground situation is changing every minute.

Do not count on the eggs before they are laid.

Most of these guys would lose their deposits.

They are contesting to hoodwink the Tax Collector of outstanding unpaid taxes.

The Election Commissioner  should reject the applications if, the last 3 years of the Tax Returns are not submitted with the application.

We have on record at least 3 guys entered election while holding foreign citizenship.

Civil Servants should act with impunity and they are protected by law.

I have no trust on judges like the guy who gave judgement on "Helping Hambantota" with Tsunami Funds.

Three Referendums

I have gone through three (3) Referendums in my life but did not participate in any one of them.

1. The number 1 is infamous 1982 referendums by J.R.J . the political Fox of Ceylon.

He had 2/3rd majority in the parliament and wanted to extend the parliament in the same form for another 6 years.

A Crooked Referendum which he won.

I was in UK but came home to witness it on a 10 day holiday.

Air tickets were cheap then.

2. The second referendum was 10 years later in 1992 in New Zealand.

It was to change the FPP (First Past the Post) to MMP (Mixed Member Proportional Representation).

I had the de facto right to vote but I did not.

(de juro is one does not have to be resident at the time of voting).

This referendum had to be confirmed by another referendum and  that was followed by bizarre series of referendums until 2017.

It was a small country with 99 seats when I was there and they added 21 more seats to the parliament.

These are called List MPs which I hate to this day.

They are a form of GHOST MPs only answerable to the Party Boss and not to the  voter.

The New Zealand guys and girls were fighting for these 21 seats and it lead to the increase in the number of parties from 2 to 9.

Referendum was held with good intention but lead to a Mess in New Zealand.

In Ceylon we have 186 parties.

Utter MESS.

3. The referendum 11 years later in Australia was initiated by Labour Government.

When British invaded Australia the never asked the Aborigines their wish but pushed them to the outbacks.

This referendum was a general eyewash for public consumption but I did not follow it with any interest.

Voice Referendum is over with a NO Vote.

Australian citizens conducted themselves admirably to have a peaceful NO.

The Labour Party in power wasted lot of Time and Money and derived nothing at the end.

If they were clever enough politicians, they should have sensed the public opinion before hand and kept silent on this issue.

I come to the conclusion that politicians can shift the blame to the voter by having a referendum.

A clever ploy!

Politicians are not be blamed.

Only Blame the voter.

This was true of EU referendum in UK.

At least the P.M Cameron resigned and he has resurfaced as a Lord of Foreign Affairs.

British are no longer democratic but have become neocolonial.

The are no longer have a clout in diplomacy and have become a poodle of democratic party of imbeciles (demented, too).

The plight of Ukraine would have been different if diplomats instead of Borris Johnson talked to the Turks.

With Israel in limelight Turks are having a uninvited party in Middle East.

This referendum could have lead to divisive politics and the Chinese guys with some political clout would have demanded absolute power in the parliament (as in mainland China), if racial divisions are taken as a factor in a voting system.

Ceylon is a good example at the behest of India and RAW they wanted to divide the country on language basis and later on religion.

Total Mess!

It was a waste of resources would have been better spent on reducing cost of living and increase in production of food and improving services.

I am always a Labour supporter of the Old Guard but current Labour guys are Split Brain Type.

Split their brain on minor issues.

4. Our Illegal Guy in Power in Ceylon is contemplating on a referendum for his survival.

It should never happen!

The current need is to feed the poor voter and support the poor farmer (not a referendum).

If the current MPs vote for this Illegal  Referendum they should be ousted in 2025 general election.

That is my resolve.

I am in favour of this government going on until 2025, since by that time they are so unpopular routing them would be a piece of cake for the voter.

5. By the way, I am for the abolition of the post of presidency.

It has done more harm than good for over 40 years.

We should go back to parliamentary democracy with minimum number of List MPs.

We cannot abolish List MPs as in New Zealand for a long time.

I prefer once in 3-4 year term.

Like in a business set up, if the political guy is not good he should be ousted next time round.

Unless one has three consecutive success in parliament NO pension should be given.

Ex-President should not be given pension as a birth right.

They are all white elephants.

5. Action Plan for J.V.P.
My guess is if a general election is held J.V.P. would get 40% of the vote and 80 seats.

25 seats for Tamil Alliance.

Rest 115 would be divided among 3 to 5 parties out of 186 parties.

Hung or stale mate parliament!

J.V.P should declare that they would not contest the Presidential Election.

They should support Sarath Fonseka as their preferred candidate.

S.F. has a score to settle with the Family Clan who made him to wear prison jumpers.

It is time for the old clan to be dressed in prison jumpers, since Supreme Court already has delivered a historical verdict.

Either due to contempt of court or due to Lasantha Wickramatunge and Thajudeen murders.

It is difficult to list their crimes starting from Easter Bomb to killing 10 Aragalaya (Novel Revolution) Kattiya.

Justice should prevail!

Turin Silva should spent his time increasing the number of parliamentary seats to 100 from 80.

Alliance with S.F. not only bring the grand total to just over 50% but nullify the Saffron Clothed Mafia that is slowly building up its momentum.

Monks should not be given a free hand.

If they contest they should be made to remove their robes  before contesting.

The Janaseta man should be disrobed first.

The benefits of the temporary alliance are many.

1. S.F. has to form the cabinet.
J.V.P. should refuse any portfolios.

2. S.F. has to manage the finances.
J.V.P. or N.P.P can absolve from any blame.

3. S.F. should reorganize the civil service.
N.P.P. is not responsible for changing permanent secretaries.

4. S.F. should select the ambassadors.
N.P.P. should sneak in a few in Russia and China.
Give S.F. the collapsing West.

Russia and China would help us at least short term.

5. S.F. should go on a pilgrimage to India and take "Head On" Indian manipulations including cricket.

N.P.P. should play soft ball cricket with the Indian voters to oust Mad Modi.

The Ceylon voter has now become a fully fledged citizen and N.P.P. cannot hoodwink them.

Relevance of God Concept

God is a Human Concept created by mankind for over 10,000 years.

My understanding is that the Mohendajaro Harappan civilization did not have a religion.

However, it got established around 2500 years ago by linking with the King of the State.

Money became its power.

I cannot see a God who sends its priests to battle field as a benevolent godly guy.

I have another problem whether god is a male or a female.

Most bizarre point is that the god created this world.

If that is the premise, the god should have another creator above him or her.

It is like the egg or hen connection.

Who came first.

Man or God.

An endless loop.

Fear of death may be the reason for its creation.

I have much more plausible origin.

Mankind discovered Magic Mushroom long before agriculture and cultivation of magic mushroom was probably the first agricultural product, even before brewing alcohol.

These mood enhancing chemicals produce esoteric or spiritual dimensions with intoxication and the belief in Godly or Virtual Beings came into existence.

Socrates was poisoned and Bertram Russel had to flee to Russia to save his life.

When he was down with double pneumonia  The Church of England published two obituaries of BR.

He of course survived thanks to the British nurse not due to the God Almighty.

All religions are humankind's abstract creations without substantial evidence to support or deny their claims.

I have nothing against a guy or girl having some belief system but if I am asked about possibility of God or Gods, the simple answer would be the contents outlined in this piece.

I love reading books but moment it is finished, I wait for the next edition to update knowledge.

When it comes to Bible or Kuran the same old edition is dished out with minor corrections.

It is 2500 years old and it is high time to be disposed of, so that the current Israel and Hamas / Hezbollah war or religious dispute is (in this case land included) turned off without further blood shed.

Eye for Eye of Wild West mentality has no place in global politics today.

I think the Ukraine debacle needed a diversion tactic for the Military Industrial Complex to rearm another conflict until US Election is over.

These events are not spontaneous but very well orchestrated.

Hamas is a creation by West to undermined Hezbollah Organizations.

Hezbollah is a political party of Lebanon with  diplomatic recognition. It also has a military wing.

While PLO recognizes Israel (two states) Hezbollah does not recognizes Israel.

So far there is no active participation of Hezbollah.

I have no idea where Iran stands in this conflict.

It is obvious Iran was unaware of the Hamas activity which was most likely controlled by the West.

Iran was negotiating for concession on nuclear program and really did not want any escalation in the region.

It is more than likely Israel does not want the Iran Nuclear program to succeed.

So it allowed the Hamas to carry out its attack in spite Egypt's warning.

The bottom line is there is a hidden hand to oust Israel's current PM but it is more than likely he will hang on until US Elections.

Hamas is a Sunni Political organization.
It opposes a Two State Solution. Saudi Arabia supports Sunni faction.

Hezbollah is Shia Political organization supported by Iran. It does not support two state solution.

Mosquitoes

Canada has  60 species.

UK has  30 species

Pacific has 200 species

Eggs mature within 48 hours.

500 to 100 eggs per lay.

After larval stage (may be 30 cycles) undergo 20 more cell division cycles and become adults.

From egg to adult is only 10 days.

Male live on nectar for about a week.

The female live 5 to 7 weeks but given favourable living conditions can live up to 6 months.

1. There are about 3500 species of mosquitoes and about 2500 species probably  are in current circulation.

2. I believe, it is the most versatile insect on this planet.

3. Only about 40 species are diseases producing and the rest is an evolutionary store waiting to be discovered

4. All of them start life underwater as multitude of egg types.

5. The larvae are upside down in water and breath through a pair of siphon located in the tail end.

6. Anopheles do not have a siphon and lie flat on water surface and breath trough a pair of holes in one of the segments.

7. Job of larvae are to eat a lot and grow fast.
They are filter feeders.

8. Elephant mosquito larva eat other mosquito larvae

9. Dragon fly larva breakfast is mosquito larvae

10. 4 moults.

11. Emerges as a Pupa.
Trumpets (breathing apparatus) pop out from the head.

12. Some flowers are only pollinated by mosquitoes.

Males only feed on sugar of flowers.

13. Adult mosquito has navigational tools.

14. Females of only some varieties need a blood meal before laying eggs.

15. Giant mosquito larvae while not blood suckers help to kill other mosquito larvae and control the population explosion.

16. Killing all mosquitoes is not a solution to control mosquito born disease.
Environmentally useful guys are also killed in that process.

Cosmological Inquiry

I have an outrageous theory for our solar system.

Before that let me dish out our limitation of colour sense.

We can distinguish only  3 colours clearly using rods and cones of our retina. In my case I cannot see some colours properly from a young age and it is getting worse with age.

I realized this when I was playing snooker.
No problem with billiards since only two colours white and red are used.

The computer can distinguish millions of colour shades and for simplicity sake they use 256 colour shades in our monitor.

Good example of colour compression is used in mpeg file format of video streaming, where redundant analog colours are shed to make the file light not bulky.

The name PNG or portable network file came into existence without sacrificing the quality of the image.

I am out of touch and use only GIMP for my photographic world.

The bottom line is analog files are heavy and we can shed lot of bulk when sharing image files in the internet.

The Cosmos is Big and we can see visually only about 5% of the matter.

Rest of the Universe is dark and beyond our grasp.

To identify hidden matter we have to use other energy components of our energy spectrum using instruments mounted on a satellite probe.

That is the reality.

The man does not want to be blinded by his visual limitation.

My outlandish theory is that we were a binary star system and the other star died and disappeared into darkness long time ago.

It remains as a dark body outside our visible planets and gives stability to our solar system.

Mind you it is not a dark hole but a physical body without visible light source but with powerful gravitational force.

My reasoning are simple.

Binary division is common in cells and biological world.

There is nothing to prevent binary division in physical world or in the cosmos.

It is a simple mathematical logic.

In spiral galaxis there are two arms one bright with young stars and another arm with old stars.

In between globular or elliptical body and a bar body or dark matter in the center.

I am using this analogy to our solar system.

The postulated dark body is bigger of the two original stars.

Stars fading an dying is normal in the cosmos.

Like the bar body in a spiral galaxy it gives stability to our solar system.

Lot of our explorer satellites get lost or veer away from its course.

My postulation is we fail to take account of the gravitational pull of this old star unseen.

Like a good brother it does not let any matter escapes from our solar system.

Our cosmos is receding at a tremendous pace and this guy is trying to stop our solar system losing its components.

This is a working theory and worth probing on at a theoretical level.

This will be one of my questions in my philosophy book.

Single Meal a Day and Why?

This topic is personal to me.

I have gone through a single meal a day for straight 10 years.

I was busy doing several jobs in the university (research included) and coming home for lunch and going back to work, took a toll on me.

I decided to skip the lunch.
Two big bananas and a pint of milk was my lunch.

Good cup of tea in between kept me alert.

My productivity went up the scale.

Research work was finished double quick time.
Three books, one on Linux, one on Buddhism and a third book of poems successfully published.

I kept this routine until my retirement.

In between, I finished a long article, A single Meal a Day.

It included spirulina.

My reasoning was based on Buddhist monks.

They have light breakfast and a mid day meal not later than 2PM.

It is supposed to be conducive for meditation practice.

Buddha practiced it.

Buddhist monk of good old days lived a long life.

Besides they were healthy except perhaps a few cases of cataract.

They never used transport in their own villages and used to walk a lot.

They probably had a good night sleep.

Then I went into research mode.

1. Wolves can go on without a meal for 10 days.

2. Dogs go on hunger for 10 days if the owner is absent.
Most of the stray dogs tag to another guy or girl after 10 days.

Some pedigree dogs die on the 10th day.

Think about it before bringing a puppy home.

3. Prehistoric man and his dog can starve only upto 10 days.

If one goes through the above facts, a single meal a day is not a big issue.

Having said that, if one had been eating 3 meals a day going for one meal is drastic.

It leads to vitamin deficiency and guy or girl becomes very irritable.

Post prandial hypoglycaemia ensues and urge to eat or consume sugary stuff becomes a habit.

It took nearly 3 years to master my chemistry.

Ten years without rice as a mail meal was a revelation.

I never put on weight.

Of course, the replacement diet was hard to come by and chocolates and coconut cookies became staple and healthy alternative.

I broke this habit in old age.

Bit of extra fat in old age is a bonus.

If one becomes bed ridden for 7 days this extra fat is an insurance for trouble times.

Do not be regimental on a weight reduction diet!

I am back to my highest weight minus one kilogram.

Scale for weighing daily is mandatory, if somebody is trying weight reduction.

Sleep, Dreams and Biorhythms

We sleep in cycles.
Each cycle is 90 to 120 minutes.
There are 3  NREM (N1, N2 and N3) and 1 REM makes a cycle.

N2 is Light Sleep

N3 is Deep Sleep

Memories are probably stored during deep sleep in a raw and random fashion.

NREM        =      Non Rapid Eye Movement

REM           =      Rapid Eye Movement

SCN          =      Suprachiasmatic nucleus
                          Regulates Diurnal Rhythm

In REM sleep memory is reorganized and redundant information is filtered off.

REM sleep is generally 25% of the total sleep and we tend to dream in REM sleep.
Memory is stored during REM.
REM starts as short bursts and as one sleeps longer REM tends last longer.

We have 6 cycle per night.

We generally needs 8 hours of sleep out of which 4 hours of Deep Sleep is vital.

One need not worry about  since these patterns are determined by melatonin secretion.

Ophidiophobia

Generally I do not fear anything.

I was brought up as an adult not to fear even bombs during L.T.T.E, J.V.P and D.J.V.P.

J.V.P. landed their makeshift bombs on top of our room in 1971 and in 1989 I was 4th in their hit list.

It was RAW of Indira Gandhi that funded the D.J.V.P and the ploy was to stop Americans launching a satellite from Ceylon.

I am generally Anti-American but this incident made me lifetime Anti-Indian and beating Indians in a cricket match should be our ultimate goal.

I am not sure but Chinese are reviving the ground station and we can use Chinese satellites to cover the Indian ocean.

Enemies enemies are our friends phrase can be applied to India and China.

I am far off the target.

I do not fear blood or dealing with any horrific accident patients in hospital care from my Internship.

I was a good trauma officer in New Zealand and indirectly was the flying doctor.

I have only treated one patient with  snake bite all my life and that was also in a private hospital in Negamboo,  a non venomous sea snake.

Taking a fishhook accidentally stuck in a forearm was more difficult than treating a snake bite.

But fear is still there for snakes specially for cobras.

As a kid we lived inbetween Galgedhara and Mawathagama.

It was called Weuda (means village built on a filled up lake).

There were lot of snakes around our house.

It is perfectly normal to find a deadly Magamaruwa or Thelkarawala.

Sometimes these snake go inside to feed on honey bees in bee boxes. They become plump and cannot come out unless bee box is opened and the parasitic snake is released.

Snakes were not a problem but come cobras I go into panic mode.

Under 5 years, one day I pulled out my tiny suitcase to find a tiny cobra under my bed.

I immediately took the ruler out hit it dead on the neck.

It formed its hood to bite me but I was bit quicker.

That incident passed away and one day we were walking down a narrow gorge and I found a water snake peacefully swimming.

I took a little marble and reflectively hit it.

It died an agonizing death.

That day I took a vow never to hurt any animal all my life.

Incidentally, I became a pet lover and ornamental fish keeping was my longterm hobby.

I was woken up with a daytime dream when accidentally I broke one of my big glass fish tanks.

I could not pick up all the fish especially the baby fish and that stress alone woke me up.

Made a cup of tea and decided to pen down on ophidiophobia.

I have accidentally touched a belly of two giant cobras.

The third time, I was feeding the fish and when I turned back I saw a huge cobra at least 12 to 16 feet long behind me.

I was obstructing its escape path.

In two steps, I was down onto the next level 8 feet below.

I did not crack my leg but the snake was so alarmed calmly slithered away in a few seconds.

It did not try to show its hood and it would have sensed I was more alarmed than the snake.

This fear is not reasonable.

I think it is genetic fear built in any human being.

Irrational to the core.

I think I am rational and I am scientific.

I doubt that classification and deep within I am NOT a rational but intrinsically and inherently fearful guy.

To, snakes specially cobras.

Why?

I do not know.

It is also called herpetophobia or fear of all reptiles but I do not have any fear on other reptiles, like lizards and even big comodo dragon.

Comodo dragon was very common good old days.

But the real adoring guys were tortoises.

Science, Philosophy or Religion?

Zeitgeist

Zeit in German is Time.

Geist in German is Spirit

Philosophically, Zeitgeist was a dominant ideology of a particular era in history, reflecting the main trend in  social, philosophical and scientific thought of that time period.

How zeitgeist applied today.

1.  Is it to Revive Bandera and Nazi ideology of domination?

Germans vs Jews
Black vs Whites
East vs West

Cosmopolitan
Neocolonial
Egalitarian
Elitism

2. Is it to develop, all sort of killer drones and armament to kill those who oppose the dominant Media Views?

Capitalism vs Communism vs Hybrid Socialism

3. Is it to discard simple moral obligations and create guys without gender identification?

I am one who opposes AI controlling my day to day life.

I do not want an alarm to wake me up.

I do not want emails to control my workflow.

I do not want my cellphone to become my memory bank.

If my memory fails and dementia sets in,     I do not want to prolong my mental agony in a frozen state, confined to a wheel chair.

TIME

TIME is an Illusion
Time is an illusion created by human imagination and is enforced by Christian faith.

The biggest of this illusion is the "Big Band Theory".

Let me dissect.

Our imagination is limited by our vision.

Even if we send a satellite to space with a camera and record any visual data (event) and send it back to us, what we are seeing is an event in the past limited by the speed at which light can travel in space.

We can never see any event that is called present in our Cosmos.

We can see only the past.

So to create that illusion we momentarily freeze or stop an event supposed to have happened in the past (Big Bang) and from that of point of Imaginary Time, we extrapolate some more  events to correspond to our present time.

Present belongs only to our planet and our sun not  to the Cosmos.

This is why I am at logger head with Astrologers who predict the future.

Just as we cannot see the Present in our Cosmos we cannot see the Future of our Cosmos.

It is an illusionary imagination.

The Time of our Imagination cannot be projected to any point in the Cosmos.

To compound this fact the Universe is expanding at an accelerated (not a fixed  rate) rate.

That is, we are loosing a bit of our Cosmos (the limit of visual sight ) every moment of our life.

This is where I love the expresion in Dhamma, live in this moment of present, never waver in to the past or try to see the unseen future.

We are left with this present moment of Reality.

Very difficult concept to digest since even this moment is governed by the uncertainty of our own existence.

REBIRTH is created to fill this Void of the past and future.

That is the subtle Reality of Dhamma!

FEARS
There is no limit to fear but in Buddhism it is classified under 4 heading.

1. Fear of Death
2. Fear of Illness
3. Fear of Old Age or Dementia
4. Fear of Loss of Livelihood (Poverty)

Several more are added in Sigalovada Sutta.

5. Fear of criticism.
6. Fear of loss of loved ones.

I look at death in a different way.
I look the history of mankind and see how long great people lived in their life without dementia.

Buddha comes to my mind.
He could have lived up to 100 years with perfect mind.

But he decided to quit at 80 having seen that the physical body was failing with disease and old age.

After all, he left his princely life having seen death, sickness and old age.

However he did not have any fears (death, illness and losing his livelihood etc;) at the time of his passing away.

Death Moment in Dhamma

1. Kamma Nimitta

2. Gati Nimitta

3. Jati and Bhava (Rebirth)

My scientific way of looking at death is simple Cell Cycle events.

Our life cycle is determined at the first cell division.

It is only 50 Cell Cycles, nothing more and nothing less (there are few factors that accelerate this cycle and for the sake of brevity I would not expand).

In the foetus cell division is fast 42 cell cycles are spent by the age of one year.

Another 3 cycles are finished by puberty.

We have only 5 cell cycles left for our adult life.

Each cell cycle is prolonged between each division and humans can go upto 100 but after 80 disability, disease and old age symptoms aggregate, including dementia.

Elephants also have a similar cell cycle events but after 60 they have more disability.

When one is in death bed it is the last Thought Moment that determines the Rebirth Consciousness. One has no control of this thought moment and is spontaneous and depends on the Total Kamma Character of the Person.

When there are relatives around at the death bed (if the person desires the gathering, so be it) it is difficult for the person to "Let Go".

This is especially so for Non-Buddhists!

Lucid Interval
There is a momentary stage of Lucidity even in a case of " Brain Dead" person.

What happens this stage is determined by Gati Nimitta and is inherently fluid.

Cell Cycle
Cell cycle is unique to all animals and I have a theory that something in the placenta (depending on the adult size of the animal) trigger advanced cell division (example rats) and shorten the life span without shortening the reproductive potential (have a larger brood and more reproductive cycles).

It is related to evolution and survival of species.

This piece here has more questions than answers.

Take a cup of tea or coffee, better stil a glass of wine and enjoy it at easy pace.

Only prerequisite is to have an open mind and be ready to drop any ambiguous dogma sticking in your mind.

I come from a scientific background.

My belief was that science could provide definite answers to definite questions.

In my twilight years, I remain baffled and have not found answers to many of my original scientific questions.

I was somewhat pragmatic and did not want to dig into esoteric questions in my working life.

Now I am in full retirement, a healthy dose questions even a daredevil philosopher would fear to ask, is dished out here, with an optimistic mind.

Be happy or Somanassa Citta is my base.

Do not get bogged down by the uncertainty.

Around 55 years of age, I did some research work and I found something substantial, which remaines in my mind to this day.

It is within a mathematical constraint.

I did not find anything new.
Would expand on that later.

Then in my retirement I dig into religion and that investigation is over.

My main concern was mind and its behaviour.

I did not find much on mind but I came to the conclusion that human beings have been experimenting on Mind Altering Drugs for over 13,000 years.

Except a bit of wine, I never tried psychedelics.

I fear them as addictive drugs.

These mind altering drugs cause altered state of mind and most of the religions in practice today are byproducts of either hallucinatory states or delusions of grandeur provoked by these dangerous drugs which at the moment of ingestion expands the time out of proportion to Reality.

These guys even projects these illusions to alien visitations.

There is a guy who project this delusions as Al Bashar. I have no data to confirm or deny that this guy uses psychedelic drugs.

What I know is, in America there are guys who use Ayahuasca to induce guys to their Forum of Indulgence and scrounge on innocent guys (both money and time).

They have brought these plants to America and they grow these mushroom in their gardens.

There is a hilarious story an America woman who went China to talks with  Xi Jing Ping was given a dish of Magic Mushroom.
She was so elated and said, Yes to everything the Chinese envoy had said and she was taken round, in a city tour.

Nothing substantial came out of the negotiations.

Beware of these guys and stay miles away from them.

My Advice.
If you go to any of these classes to not even take a glass of water during the session.

Go there well hydrated.

Do not take the herbal tea (that is the Ayahuasca).

If you do not get any benefit from the master within 60 minutes, just walk away as a free man or woman.

Meditation practice is an industry in America and in the West.

No different to Dr. Stevon Greer's, alien visitation forums and DVD industry.

Religions by nature are all created as abstracts.

I do not need to say, it is an opium (makes you euphoric) of mind but a form of mental indulgence (certainly worse than opium but created the Biblical Wars and perhaps current war in Israel with Hamas).

I have two books on mind at Amazon bookstore, one is free to explore.

From science and religion I went into mother nature and I have no intention of delving into mass extinction and global worming.

Simply because mass extinction is inevitable and global warming (swings to low or high temperatures were far too, many on this planet) is unpredictable.

What causes it remains illusive.

Carbon dioxide scenario is only the tip of the iceberg.

Ultimately I ended up in philosophy.

I am not going to create my own philosophy, even though I wished to be called, a budding philosopher.

The Reason is most of the philosophies of old have gone into extinct including Cynics of Diogenes.

If I postulate my own philosophy, it is not immune to disintegration.

But I would keep raising a limited number of questions.

Not here but probably in a book form.

1. Science
Let me digest my own dissatisfaction to emerging science.

I had a list of questions on science.

It started with 10 and it went up to 20.

I won't list them here, simply a waste of time but I would explore only a few.

Out side of those questions, I had a another question.

Did aliens visit this planet?

Did we discover new technologies from them?

End result was my book on "Alien Saga".

Let me be practical to start with.

1. Biology
In biological systems, 28% is genetics, 32% is environmental and 40% is unknown.

My own research confirm this scenario.

Only happy state is my professor warned me and said 40% is unknown and please do not bother to investigating them.

That is in biology.

What about other arenas.

2. Physics
We have formulated concepts for 5% of the matter but 95% of the dark matter we do not have any logical formulas.

Dark matter physics is unknown to us.

Dark Holes
What happens within a dark hole and beyond are beyond our grasp.

To make it simple we can say there is an event horizon and leave it at that.

Dark Matter
Is it really matter or a different dimension.

Dark Energy
Dark energy is probably receding from us and creates the illusion of darkness. It is probably receding at a rate faster than speed of light.
Using speed of light as a parameter in measurement is not feasible if the dark energy is moving faster than speed of light.

There is a limit to our imagination.

What is the limit of dimensions?

Is it within the mathematical 13 or more?

3. Unanswered Questions

What is the beginning of life on our planet?

We can go back and postulate a probable time of origin of life, from the available data but can we answer the question why life did  begin at all.

Is it a random event?

I hate the theory (simply on physics' point of view) that life came from outer space.

Planet earth had all the resources but how it began is a mystery.

All what we know is that the Mar's atmosphere is inhospitable for biological life.

I have many unanswered questions but I would leave it at that.

4. Mind

What is mind?

Can it exist without the brain?

What is its form?

I do not like the word consciousness and the word mind is preferable.

Please note I have a piece on Mind and Matter on this blog site.

5. Rebirth

Can one prove or disprove Rebirth?

I have two books on Rebirth at Amazon bookstore.

My own perspectives are given there.

6. My Philosophical Questions?

I am afraid they are in a book form, not here.

Book will come out soon.

I have a piece here on origin of philosophy.

That is an outline of how philosophy evolved over the past 2500 years.
