Emmabantus 6.1

This is a message for Emmabantus users.
It is good distribution with plenty of applications. Once one configure the language and the locality, the rest is easy.
I just installed GNOME on top of LightGDM.
If one is installing GNOME, first GDM Display Manager should installed.
Then install Classic GNOME.
If one clicks GNOME only one gets the GNOME based applications without a desktop.
GNOME Boxes is available and one can test other distributions on a Virtual Machine.

Cellphones Utlities in Debian-UPDATE

I was wrong about cellphone utilities were available only in Forky. They are available in Trixie but I did not know.
They are mature enough to be installed using the Network Boot DVD.
I have Installed in both in my NUC and Laptop. On cannot use Synaptic Package Manager to install but rest including Internet and downloading and writing an Image on a USB are possible.
One can access the hard drive and work on any other file.
They are
Lomiri
Posh
Use the Synaptic Package Manager to install them in your PC and have working relationship with your phone.
Password are necessary to access the hard disk.
 Reading files at 380/sec.
40% and 150,000 files.
50% and 190,000 files.
65% and 250,000 files.
95% and 366,000 files.
Failed configure WiFi.
I give up on Free BSD.

Back to EasyOS-Puppy Linux

Image 7.4.1 the latest.
Since, I have finished the hard work of getting the NUC and my Old Laptop in good working order, I decided to Reinstall EasyOS on a 4GB old Patriot USB stick.
This is Deuvan and not Debian based.
I do not know what the INIT is.
It has Appimage and Flatpak support.

AbiWord is missing.
I am trying to Install Blender but it failed.
Failed again. It not the problem of PUPPY but the Flatpak which I hate and never use as Debian guy.
Synaptic Package Manager has everthing.
I am trying Scribus now.
Installation OK.
Installed Firefox and made my default.
Got the password right.
No Firefox.
SeaMonkey I love but Google is going to block it.
Lot of things failed but nevertheless, I am going to keep it safely.

Microsoft Windows SUCKS

I am qualified to say, Microsoft Windows SUCKS, since I have not used it from Windows 2000, for over 25 years.
This is my answer to guys who come from Windows background who say Linux SUCKS.
I am vocal enoigh to say UBUNTU is a cancer on LINUX probably paid by Microsoft cronies.
As long as Debian is there LINUX will rick the boat of Windows guys and girls.

I even used Solaris Open Office to write my University Thesis.
I did not use even, use LibreOffice.
It was not in existence.
I wrote all my books using AbiWord which was 8MB command line utility when I first used it. It has grown to 311MB and I am currently working on 5 books.
One  is "Commercial Enterprise of Meditation".
Focus is on Guys like Dr. Steven Greer and Darel Ankar trying to distort. Buddha Dhamma.
Othet book is on LINUX ESSENTIALS.
There is a book on DOGS.
That is my contribution to Puppy Linux.
I started with Puppy Linux and them migrated to Peppermint Linux and now on Super Debian GNOME.

BIG Linux Got Stuck on my Old Laptop

This time I got GNOME on top Plama of BIG Linux.
I won't tell you how.
I could not get GDM but I am OK with SDDM.
Well, I am going for good cup of CEYLON TEA.
I have got 10 Linux Distributions installed on my Laptop.
All boots well except BIG Linux.
Reason
I forgot the password for User.
This is most likely due to figure 8 virus inserting itself to my Password which I have overlooked.
Most of the distributions let one preview the password before pressing OK.
This new distributions specially BIG eventhough play high with graphic play forget Simple Things.
Option was to ERASE it with Debian.
Luckily, I have a copy of its Image saved in my Debian Instance and I have to ERASE the image of Trixie to rewrite BIG Linux.
With only 4GB of RAM it is a slow process and I decided to pen this blog piece.
I am going to write down the password this time round.
It is still writing the 5.7GB Image.
I am bit high since my NUC with 11 distributions including Peppermint Linux which was probably the beginning of my Linux Voyage 25 years ago.
I am going to write another piece Microsoft Windos SUCKS.
See you soon.
