Manjaro Linux 

Thank YOU Manjaro Developer Girls and Boys. 

After long lay off I installed Manjaro and it is pretty good. 

This is posting from Manjaro instance. 

I used to use Gnome Software for installing additional packages.

Gnome Software is taken as an application and it has a limit for its application install. I do not like flatpak which is bulky and Gnome Software has a common library. I could not Install GIMP. I could not install Gnome Box.

But Manjaro Software let me install Box as flatpac.

My advice is use ONLY Manjaro Software.

No problem configuring my GRUG boot loader.

Manjaro is a superb distribution and my finicky Gnome behavior is the fault. 

In any case gnome is going to be a new distribution on its own and I am watching its development in the future.

I am a Debian Guy and Gnome comes on top of Gnome.

I have no intention of leaving Debian. 

 Incidentally I installed Debian 13 Testing Gnome and it's application package is fixed and I am unable install even AbiWord as an additional package.

This is an attempt to guide the misguided guys and girl by the YouTube Dramas.

 

Buddha strongly discouraged logic except the qualifications in  Kalama Sutta.

 

Yana literally means a vehicle (path) that one takes to exit from the Sea of Sansara.

Let me give my own example as an adult university teacher who is inactive for the last 25 yeas. I still prefer to lean rather than teach but when I see guys and girls mislead knowingly or unknowingly, I make little blog pieces here for visitors of my site to browse and ponder.

Nothing dogmatic.

 

Dhamm is based on Truth Principle.

 

Let me say  truth is hidden in the center of a perfect sphere.

Mahayana is at the periphery of the sphere (apple) in this search for Truth Principle.

Theravada is more closer to the center but not yet in the center.

 

Even the Theravada Way Finder has to understand the true meaning of Dhamma with his or her own strenuous attempt. 

It cannot be achieved in a single cycle of a human being.

 

On his or her way one finds,

Sovan

Sukardagami

Anagami  and in Center Point is the Arhant State.

I prefer to take the shorter path of Theravada than Mahayana.

 

I am nowhere near Sovan but I am already on the path to Sovan.

 

I have a caveat here. 

It is related to Kalyana Mitta Principle. 

I have met a lot of friends (Kalyana Mitta) and I need to gather them around me on the path.  Mind you that includes my dog friends and elephant friends. 

I do not know about elephants but I believe dogs reach heaven easily.

If any of my elephant friends is advancing to heaven, I would certainly hand on to its tail tightly. So I ham not in a hurry to attain Sovan.

 

Knowing lot if redundant knowledge is a hindrance to wisdom

The wisdom is in the center.

 

So do not waste time on Mahayana.

 

Even Mahayana guy or girl can reach the Wisdom Point if he or she discards the unnecessary baggage that comes with Mahayana.

 

One can substitute the sphere to an apple. 

One consumes the apple from the periphery and reach the four seeds of divine abode at the center.
