Calamara Installer I am getting used to and unlike Ubuntu Mint Installation was fast. Both Synaptic Package Manager and Software are available.
I even installed Flatseal but did not test its potential.
I installed IceWM window manager and thereafter Gnome.
All are working fine.
Again, I would to say Linux Mint having lost it bearing with Ubuntu trying to piggyback Debian had not worked well.
Visit Mint web site and see it for yourself.
I suppose those who are fed up with Linux Mint and do not want to try Debian another alternative is MX Linux.
It's new version is coming soon.
