Minimum to Maximum Usage of Computers and Their Utilities
I am a scientific guy.
From cutting nails to preparing a cup of tea to a editing a Scientific Text, I do it with complete concentration.
To this I have added Total Quality Management (T.Q.M)
Let me start with Puppy Linux.
It has 11 processes.
1. File Managing
2. Terminal Editing and Emulation
3. Process Viewing
4. Default Browsing
5. Default Text Editing
6. Default Painting for Kids
7. Default Word Processing
8. Setting Up Puppy Desktop
9. Tray for Placing (Editing) Applications
10. Help when things go wrong
11. Finally Exiting once the job is done.
Any addition to this rigmarole is clunky.
The best example is modern cellphone which has many distracting applications which are counterproductive.
When I have an important session for undergraduate students, first thing I do is to collect all the cellphones (for example before an examination commences).
Cellphone was the most Destructive Force man has invented and without it man progressed at an easy pace. Now when somebody has Verbal Diarrhoea one resorts to insane messaging about a war in the past or present without giving due regard to collateral damage by both sides.
But the if the messages is factual it is are either exaggerated or an event in the past presented presented as happening now.
So the scenario of "Faked News" rule the world.
Teaching undergraduate students was the most boring thing I did in my medical career but doing some work after retirement with the NUC in front of me and say editing a scientific text using AbiWord needs total concentration.
Blog piece does not need any concentration but letting the frustration and steam out is the objective.
It is somewhat analogous to Video Games.
In an illusion not reality of life per say.
In my case when I get an important idea, say from one of my dreams and I jot it down first on a piece of paper if woken up to begin with and later make a blog piece without any edition.
Editing is done long after the Original Idea.
