Blind Logics and Logistics of Modern Society

I believe the modern society lacks perspective in life.

Good example is America.

If you look at the presidential campaign, I am amazed why America cannot find better alternatives to Trump and Hillary.

Both are out of pace and reality and living in their own worlds of misconceptions.

There are only two parties and there is no place for a third or emergence of alternative views.

Both parties are bound up with hidden pressure groups and money.

They (pressure groups with ulterior motives) do the propaganda and the average citizen is lead down the garden path of no return.

I do not know where the FBI and NSA stand,  except for eavesdropping on every human being born or not  born yet.

England where the Mother of Democracy supposed to have originated is getting too much direction from bureaucrats from Brussels and British people had no alternative but to say firm NO.

But the three main parties do not know how to get out the mess and lead the world in modern politics.

At least United Kingdom have an alternative party but it is all bickering within the party to take the leadership or the mantle.

Nothing else!

Come to Ceylon, it is all about killing the democracy and the opponents and have only ONE Family rule or dynasty.

We are unable to get rid of the MONSTER called the elected (by devious means) president.

We have a vestige of alternative media and most of the others are run by drug and warlords.

Now with three women leading the world, we the men folk can say good bye to politics and start polishing the remaining spirits left in our drums or bottles.

I can assure you that these three woman will not leave the world in better footing than when they took over, but even worse.

I hope you got the picture.

The idea of this piece is not at all political but to show the logistics part of our governance, I used politics as a preamble.

The main theme here is how we destroy the creativity from cradle to teen to coffin.

1. Right to be born without prejudice is no more.

In this part of the world female infant (including China) is unwanted commodity and aborted by default.

In this country the infant had to be born before December 31 to beat the mad rush for entry into a National School.

All of them are born within a single house bordering a National school by one mile.

The statistics emerging from houses within a mile radius is staggering.

The highest population density by birth in the entire world!

2. Once born these kids have no right or choice.

They have to get the highest grade in the year five examination.

The right to free education of the choice of the child is negated at the labour room.

Child is sent to preschool too early to learn a foreign language before he/she could become verse with the mother tongue.

Do not get me wrong here, second and perhaps third language are vital for moving upwards in the ladder of education, in this country and elsewhere in the modern world.

3. By proper education one move up the ladder fast and education is the only way forward.

It is a myth as far as this country is concerned.

In our parliament the richest ones have not gone to even the fifth standard.

There school is local mafiosi and truancy is the gateway froward.

4. If they fail in the normal mode of schooling, they go to the private tuition.

It a booming industry for pseudo-educationalists.

5. Let me cut short, some of them by shear chance get to the university.

My estimate by that time they have lost all their creativity but loaded with outdated (usually 30 years) book knowledge.

The bottom line is that the parents, teachers (most are not trained in education psychology) and specially the religious teachers of all faiths (they are not taught religion is a blind faith, opium that hinder creativity and advancement in scientific knowledge) put all sort of rigid dogmas in their minds from cradle to teen to coffin.

By the time they are teens we have created JVP activists, LTTE activists and currently religious activists including ISIS and BBS.

I often have two very simple question for any inquiring mind.

1. What have you gain from your religion (except extremism)?

If one say that I became a good (not right) person.

2. Do you really need a religion to become a good or bad person?

They are flabbergasted and do not ponder a philosophical or scientific question beyond that point.

Neither Karl Marx nor Einstein got any inspiration from previous dogmas (religion included) but their contribution to society and to the thinking man are enormous.

Below is a comment I copied from Distrowatch Site.

I was like him and tested over 300 Linux Distributions in my spare time.

Then I realized less than 1 percent of computer users use Linux and in Sri-Lanka only 32 users (at that time).

I decided to open a blog spot (Google) called Linux 100 and wrote a comment after each and every testing.

I continued use many distributions in a network of 10 computers and dismantled all but two to cut down on my electricity bill.

Now I use the light weight Peppermint (derivative of Ubuntu and Debian).

Debian is my Gold Standard.

Slackware is my old friend.

My advice for a newbie is to try test Live Sessions and decide two distributions.

One for daily use the other for testing.

Please do not waste time testing BUT use Linux as a workhorse.

It is FREE but pay a some gratitude to the developers.

My advice for the guy below is to have a blog post for venting anger and a repository for his own evolving thinking about Linux.

1. First I ran Mandrake 10 or something but didn't like it. I had Windows XP too and I didn't like it.
2. Then I ran suse 9.1 pro and liked it. (I think I ran it but I can't remember for sure, but if I did I'm sure I would have liked it)

I am intrigued by how life evolved on our planet.

I won't exclude the fact that life would have traveled from outer space in a tiny meteorite.

Leave that argument aside for the time being.

How to approach the problem?

Top down approach?

Bottom up approach?

Either way I am going to get bogged down somewhere around one (1) billion years into the past.

The premises are many.

1. Origin of cellular life is incredible.

Almost impossible in a hostile environment.

2. It happened very very slowly.

3. In its progress toward self perpetuation, there were many obstructions including bombardment of meteorites.

4. It went through five mass extinctions.

Currently it is well into its sixth extinction.

5. There could have been half life half chemical scenario.

How the interaction went on we do not know.

6. Cellular life is so labile it does not leave tell tale stories or leave behind markers in stromatolites.

7. Earth is a living planet and it does not have its oldest rocks available for study.

Its oldest rock is only two and a half billion years old.

Earth life of four and a half billion is estimated from meteorites.

There is two billion years of missing history which we have to surmise.

8. In addition there were catastrophes.

9. I am comfortable with the last 500 million years of its evolution of that the last 3 to 5 million is matter of fact biology being unraveled.

10. How could I dissect the first 500 hundred of the last billion years.

We seem to assume that we know a lot.

On the contrary we know very little.

We are stuck with the hereditary and survival of the fittest scenario that would suit only the last 5 million years, assuming mitochonridal mutations is rare.

In fact, major mitochondrial mutations are very very rare.

It is our energy store.

If its goes haywire life cannot exist in the current oxygen rich planet with cellular life.

The Premise is that due to blind faith (ISIS is a case in point) or due to greed or insanity (North Korea is a case in point) new civilizations in their forward march destroy themselves in midterm before they are fully evolved or civilized.

We are now in this current threshold of self destruction.

My alien theory (I strongly believe they visited us in 1947, to investigate, two years after the Atomic Bomb Explosion) that they visited us but left convinced that we were not mature enough to interact with them.

Additionally Area 51 was not evolved to its present level of sophistication, then.

It was built after the possible crash of alien spaceship with more advanced technology.

I believe the alien spaceship was brought down by hostile fire.

The Lifespan of Advanced Civilizations

 

 A very short lifespan for advanced civilizations may be a realistic probability because as our own case shows, technology mushrooms very rapidly and is accompanied by many dangerous effects such as;

1. Overpopulation

2. Depletion of natural resources

3. Pollution and worse of all

4. Rapid escalation of nuclear stockpiles which can easily reach the level where they are capable of wiping out the whole population of a planet.

By the same token, if we were to find significant number of other advanced civilizations in our galaxy it would mean that some at least had been able to overcome the dangers that are now looming over our own civilizations. 

If they have reached this advanced stage, it would mean that they have been able discard all of their animistic (BARBARISM) attributes such as materialism, selfishness, territoriality, dominance over others and killing instincts which in a technological civilizations are likely to lead to self destruction.

They would have been able to to mature into higher levels of cosmic intelligence characterized by spirituality, altruism, respect of others, adherence to peace and love for each other.

Joining such a galactic society would indeed be a colossal step forward in the intellectual and ethical evolution of our civilization. 

This might also be the reason why we have not yet heard from any such advanced civilizations as may exist. 

 

There must be a galactic rule that says that before a new civilization is invited to join the galactic society it must show that it is able to overcome the major crisis that probably befall all new technological civilizations.

Since we are still in the midst of this evolutionary problem, there may be advanced civilizations waiting to see how we do before inviting us to join the galactic society of advanced civilizations.

මහින්දගේ පාලනය යටතේ ඇමතිකම් දරමින් යෙහෙන් වැජඹුණු, එසේම, ජනතා ඡන්දයෙන් පරාජිත ඇතැම් දේශපාලඥයන් මේ ආණ්ඩුව යටතේද අමාත්‍ය ධූර හා තවත් වරදාන භුක්ති විඳිමින් සිටින තත්ත්වයක් ඉතාම ලෙහෙසියෙන් නිර්මාණය විය.
වෙන එකක් තබා, පැවැති දූෂිත රෙජීමය පරාජය කර වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව බලයට ගෙන ඒමට විවිධ තර්ජන, පහර දීම්, මර්ධනය කිරීම සහ අනෙකුත් අභියෝග භාර ගෙන ක්‍රියා කළ සමාජ ක්‍රියාධරයන් වෙනුවෙන් මෛත්‍රී-රනිල් ආණ්ඩුව කළ ගුණ සැලකුවේ මහින්ද රෙජීමය වෙනුවෙන් ඔවුනට පහර දීමට පෙරට ආ මැරයන් මැති ඇමති තනතුරුවලට පත් කොට දේශපාලනික වරප්‍රසාද ලබා දීමෙනි. ඉතාම සරලව කියනවා නම්, මහින්ද රෙජීමයේ දූෂිතභාවය ගැන විවිධ සුරංගනා කතා කියමින් ජනාධිපතිවරණයට ඉදිරිපත් වූ වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවේ සාමාජිකයන් නැවත එවැනි ඒකාධිපති පාලනයකට මේ රට ගෙන යාම වළක්වනු පිණිස ‘යහපාලන’ ආණ්ඩුවක් වෙනුවෙන් අප කැප වී කටයුතු කළ අයට පවා ‘කොකා පෙන්වීමට’ අමතක කළේ නැත. එක අතකින් එය හොඳය. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් ඡන්දයට කලින් දූෂණ විරෝධීභාවය හා ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රකාමීත්වය මවා පෙන්වා බලයට පත් වූ පසුව හුදෙක්ම තම පැවැත්ම වෙනුවෙන් බයිලා ගහන්නට පටන් ගැනීම යනු අපේ දේශපාලන ‘සාරධර්ම’ පද්ධතියේ අනිවාර්ය අංගයකි. ඒ අතින්, වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවද න්‍යාය විරෝධී නොවී සිටීමට සමත් වී තිබේ!
අද වන විට අප අත්දකිමින් සිටින්නේ මේ කණගාටුදායක සිදුවීම් සියල්ලේ සමස්ථයයි. සාමාන්‍යයෙන්, අප යමක් එපා කියා ඒ වෙනුවට වෙනත් යමක් ඉල්ලන්නේ නම් එයින් අදහස් වන්නේ කුමක්ද යන්න බාලාංශ පන්තිවල සිසුවෙකුට වුව පහසුවෙන් තේරුම් ගත හැක. ජනවාරි 08 දින අප එපා කීවේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ නම් තනි පුද්ගලයා පමණක් නොවේ. 
ඔහු විසින් අනුගමනය කරමින් සිටි මිථ්‍යා දෘෂ්ටික ලෝක දැක්ම, මර්දනකාරී හැසිරීම, ඒකාධිපති වියරුව මෙන්ම ඔහු වටා සිටි දූෂිත හෙංචයියන් රැළද අපට එපා බව ඉන් ගම්‍ය විය. 
වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව බරපතලෙට නොගත්තේ මේ වැදගත් පණිවුඩයයි. මහින්ද පන්නයේ පාලනයක් තවදුරටත් මෙරටට දරාගත නොහැකි බව ජනවාරි 08 දින බහුතර පුරවැසියන් විසින් ගම්‍ය කරනු ලැබූවද දැන් දැන් සිදු වෙමින් පවතින ඇතැම් දේවල් සහ මහින්ද රෙජීමය යටතේ සිදු වූ දේවල් අතර මහා ලොකු වෙනසක් පෙනෙන්නේ නැත. යම් යම් සාධනීය තීරණ කිහිපයක් ගනු ලැබූවද පුරවැසියන් වෙත ලබා දුන් පොරොන්දු හා බලාපොරොත්තුවලට අවංක වෙමින් පැවැති රෙජීමයට වඩා වෙනස්, විකල්ප පාලන යාන්ත්‍රණයක් ලෙස නැගී සිටීමට මේ ආණ්ඩුවටද හැකි වූයේ නැත. කවර පක්ෂයක් බලයට ආවද අපේ දේශපාලනික ශරීරය වසාගෙන එහි සාරය උරා බොමින් යැපෙන දේශපාලනික කනිතුල්ලන්ගෙන් ආරක්ෂා වීමට හැකි නොවීම මත මේ ආණ්ඩුවද මහින්ද දෘෂ්ටිවාදයේ දිගුවක්ද? යන ප්‍රශ්නය මග හැරීමට නොහැක. මා ‘මහින්ද දෘෂ්ටිවාදය’ යන්නෙන් අදහස් කරන්නේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ නම් තනි පුද්ගලයා නොව ඔහු හා බැඳී තිබූ සමස්ථ දෘෂ්ටිවාදීමය පසුතලයම බව අවධාරණය විය යුතුය.
මහින්ද රෙජීමය යටතේ නීතිය හා සාමය අන්තෙටම පිරිහී ඇති බව ඒ දවස්වල මැතිවරණ වේදිකාවල හඬ නගා කීවද මෑතකාලීනව දූෂණ විමර්ශන හා අධිකරණය ආශ්‍රිතව සිදු වූ යම් යම් දේ දකින විට මේ ආණ්ඩුව සිටින තැනද වටහා ගැනීමට අමාරු නැත. සාමාන්‍යයෙන්, ලංකාව වැනි රටක කවර පක්ෂයක වුවද දේශපාලඥයා පිස්සු නැටීම අපට අමුතු සිදුවීමක් නොවේ. පුදුමය වන්නේ එසේ නොවුණා නම්ය. මහින්දගේ පවුල්වාදය මහා ඉහළින් අවධාරණය කළ රාජිත සේනාරත්න වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවෙහි තීරණාත්මක කෙරුමෙකු වූ සැණින් තවමත් දේශපාලනික අඳබාලයෙකු වන ඔහුගේ පුත්‍රයා තුඹසින් මතු වන නයෙකු මෙන් තාත්තාගේ හයිය ගෙන දේශපාලනයට එන විට එය පවුල්වාදය නොවේදැයි අසන්නට කාලය මිඩංගු කිරීමට අපට නොසිතෙන්නේ එහෙයිනි. එහෙත්, අධිකරණය යනු අප අවසානයටම බලාපොරොත්තු තබාගෙන සිටින ගැලවීම් ස්ථානයයි. සාමාන්‍යයෙන්, අසාධාරණයක් වූ විට ඊට විසඳුම් සොයාගෙන අප යන්නේ අධිකරණය වෙතයි. එහෙත්, එකී විශ්වාසය රඳවා ගැනීමට අධිකරණයද තවදුරටත් සමත් වී නැති බව මෑත කාලීන ‘අලි ප්‍රශ්න’ ඇසුරින් මනාව ඔප්පු විය. මහේස්ත්‍රාත්ලා තම ‘මචංලා’ පෞද්ගලික මට්ටමින් ප්‍රසිද්ධියේම ගොඩ ගන්නා, එසේම, අත්අඩංගුවට ගැනීමට නියමිත අය රහස් පොලීසියටද පුප්පාගෙන මහේස්ත්‍රාත් නිල නිවාසවලට රිංගන අධිකරණ පද්ධතියක තවදුරටත් ගත යුත්තක් තිබේද? යන්න වෙනම කල්පනා කළ යුතුය. වැදගත්ම කාරණය වන්නේ වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුවේ දේශපාලඥයන්ගේ රැකවරණයද මෙවැනි ඇතැම් පුද්ගලයන් වෙත ලැබී ඇති බව අනාවරණය වීමයි. 

මේ අතරම, තවත් සමහර චූදිතයන් කිසි දා අත්අඩංගුවට නොගන්නා බවට ‘ඉහළින්’ සැනසුම් වදන් නිකුත් වී ඇති බවද පසුගිය කාලයේ වාර්තා විය. මේවා බරපතලෙට ගත යුතු සිදුවීම් නොවේද?

History and Prehistory of Lanka

I am more interested in prehistory since we now possess tools to go beyond 10,000 years of history.

Both genetic and radioactive tools are available.

What we are lacking is materials or specimens of significance.

Let me dish out the written history to begin with.

It dates back to only about 2500 years or so.

Even the Bible writing extends the mankind's 

existence to 7200 years or so.

Both Bible and Koran are not old enough to study human existence in scientific sense.

Both were anti-scientific and religious dogmas thought to be sacrosanct.

They are no longer not sacrosanct in scientific sense.

Let me come Lanka and forget the rest of the world.

Our Buddhist monks (Mahanama to begin with) cleverly erased the prehistory of Lanka and introduced a mythical history of 5000 years to Lanka.

How the name Lanka came I do not know but I feel it means an island.

I have devised a hypothesis that Lanka was a much bigger island which went under water due to at least three or four meteoritic hits that devastated mother earth including the Jurassic extinction story.

This country has at least series of three (fourth is under water due to the effect of sea erosion) uplifts according to Adam's and Wardia.

If we had prehistoric man evolving in this massive land the meteorites send them to oblivion except a traces in the north part of the island left after the series of meteorites hits.

Moon landing has recovered at least evidence dating back to 4.6 and 1.6 million light years (evidence). 

Moon does not have an atmosphere to destroy evidence but earth atmosphere destroys all the cosmic evidence of meteorites.

We have to collect traces from the space which the current space scientists are exploring.

Going back to Lanka for the last 5000 years this country was known for its immense population of elephants.

Indian elephants were driven to almost extinction to by Roman War efforts.

They probably migrated here from India and survived since local indigenous population were not hostile to them.

They were mainly in the hill country and the British drove them to the dry land due to hunting and expansion of the  tea and coffee plantations.

There were at least three prehistoric humans dating back to 125000 years in and around this island.

According to my hypothesis they also migrated from Indian subcontinent or Africa.

Any existing ones were destroyed by the last meteorite hit, 65 million year ago ( Jurassic extinction).

So the last 5000 years visitors came here to capture elephants.

Mind you all my theories end up with elephants and their plight to current day.

In fact, I dig into prehistory because of my interest in elephants not because I want to become a prehistoric historian.

It was a marathon effort since finding data was extremely difficult.

So Vijaya migration was also one of those elephant expedition went expeditiously wrong for both elephants and indigenous traces of man who inhabited Lanka.

Our Buddhist monks erased our prehistory to ashes and build “Alu Lenas all over Lanka.

For 5000 years this country was plundered of natural history and a modern history dating back to 2500 years was transplanted.

My grouse with Paranavithana and Deraniygala is that they never were true archaeologists (they narrowed their sphere of activity to 2500 years, the legacy left behind by Buddhist monks).

So instead of rewriting our Mahayana or Ramayana history there is LOT left to be explored in this country in scientific sense.

There are lot of gaping holes.

They exist of British from this country was a true scientific loss since their traditions were not followed after our political independence.

Our politicians including dead and moribund leftists were rank stupid and ignited an ethnic war still simmering under the ashes which our history is famous far.

They think by turning things to ashes the truth can be kept hidden for ever.

There is always microscopic, forensic and genetic evidence left behind to explore.

Why I propose Alternative Physics

Our brain is limited by its “Three Dimensional understanding of the Matter.

It is hard wired into our brain and limits our thinking.

This does not mean we cannot go beyond and explore the universe in multi-dimensions above and over the three dimensions.

In “string theory of mathematics” there supposed to be more than 11 dimensions.

That is the only way to understand the universe and beyond.

The true freedom of thinking would emerge only when we free ourselves of another concept in current physics.

Space (limited by three dimensions) and time (by our own imagination).

Unfortunately time is unidirectional only flows forwards.

We cannot go backwards unless we have older materials to examine, for example asteroids and meteorites.

So we got fixed at 4.6 billion light years (that is the limit of the speed of light) of the beginning of the earth (our solar system and universe) and failed to accept that the universe is much more and beyond.

We got frozen in time.

In that process we forget there is something called evolution in this world and beyond in the universe.

Then we come nearer to our Comfort Zone of life which is limited by mere 100 years.

Books, like Bible (only about 2270 and Koran (much later) which have no significance in our life and the whole universe.

Human evolution is probably less than 3 million years and more significantly for the last 50,000 years.

The modern humans have exterminated other humanoids (this happened in this very Lanka) which the archaeologists started discovering but American scientists who suppressed it in the name of Genesis and Christianity.

For Christianity and Muslim religions only contribution in the modern world is Bible War and current Social Media Wars.

The religion is void for humanity.

Race or skin color is void in the modern world.

We indeed are shaming humanity in the name of religion, race and territory, USA included.

What is needed is to free ourselves of three dimensional and unidirectional time of physics.

Current physics is limited by matter and life.

That is why vast 95% of the Dark Matter and Dark Force were not discovered by our ancient physicists.

I raise my hat to Eisenstein and Edwin Hubble who opened the door of three dimensions to more dimensions (unlimited by our imagination) within the last century.

Science has not dawned yet only atheists can carry the baton forward. 

Our modern scientists were restricted by Church and Islam.

With the dawn of New Science or New Physics all the dogmas would dissipate into thin air, (rather the universe beyond what we seem to know currently).

The number of possible states of the matter and dark matter is limited only by our ability to perceive them in real time and not the evolved time. 

The time is a concept that limits our imagination (and run riot especially to the past) and does not let us enjoy this moment of happiness (sunshine)!
