How
to work around Microsoft Software?
If you work only on Linux
and want to download your photos from a digital camera to your
computer, you are Screwed by Microsoft.
You cannot.
But there is a Simple Way.
In your Computer install a
Multi Media Bay with all the slots for various cards old and new.
Then take the card out of
the camera and shove into the appropriate slot and copy the files to
a photo or video folder.
It might take a little time
since file transfer from a card is very slow at present.
Only think you have to do
is to be patient.
