I am Timing Installation with Debian DVD1 and Gnome 13.1.0 just Released

I am timing the installation of Gnome.
It took 26 minutes.
Gnome takes 9.5GB with Synapse, Synaptic Package Manager and Gparted added.
I have 10.84GB in a 20.49GB /root partition remaining.
More than enough for testing my favorite applications.
With all my applications added which include fancy terminals including ranger, it is altogether 9.93GB with 19.56GB remaining.

My gut feeling is DVD1 one wins hands down.

Simply because uploading and removing the live image takes time.
Already had taken 26 minutes with 8GB RAM.
Besides, DVD1 states the number of files in the selection.
If one selects XFCE, which I do not recommend due to its Clumsy Desktop face, it is the fastest installation.

By the way, I have a complicated Partition Table and a messy GRUB file which take lot of time reading.
It may not the same with single partition.

A bigger /root partition makes installation quicker.
I give the minimum of 20GB.
