One need only Net Install DVD1 on a USB stick. It is less than 1GB.
Fast WiFi is mandatory.
I have Trixie Installed for comparison.
Only missing application is Blender.
By the way, I could not install XivaStudio and Big Linux guys blocked it.
Why I do not know.
Their drivers must be faulty.
Big Linux installed without a problem but Synaptic Package Manager is not supported.
They have their own Application Store which I did not bother to investigate.
All these over before Poson Poya.
I am going to try XivaStudio on my NUC now.
By the way Big Linux is logger head with Debian GNOME. GRUB Boot Loader is incompatible.
Finally, I got XivaStudio INSTALLED om my Old Laptop. I figured out that the problem was related to 4GB RAM was not enough for XivaStudio but OK for Big Linux. It consumes lot of RAM in its live Session, it could not mount the INSTALLER. The moment I figured it out I closed all those bulky graphics instructions and installed it.
I tried it on a 15GB partition in my NUC and it failed even to mount its Desktop.
Big Linux and XivaStudio are bulky and that is why I prefer Debian Network Install and what I need after basis INSTALL.
This is a good distribution for Newbies but make sure you have at least, 16GB RAM and 100GB Disk Space.
