Buddha Story

2005
Jayaratne Pathiraarchchi

Waharaka Aberatana

Mukalane Pannananda
Monk who muddy the water for his publicity.

Mevanapalane

Buddha traveled from Dambulla to Anuradhapura

Budhha's remains were preserved and deposited deeply under Anuradhapura Stupa.
Kalinga and Maga destroyed the Stupa and current Stupa was resurrected by a monk with the help of Maliban Mudhalali in 1932.
British administration of course having plundered all the artifacts left of Anuradhapura allowed the locals to rebuild a new Stupa.
Locals did not help in the escalation and Tamils who were bought in from India to help British also plundered any remains.
They being Hindu helped in the British vandalism.

Maliban Biscuit Ltd belonged to a BRITISH entrepreneur and when he left he handed it over to the Maliban Mudhalali.
