Simple Health Tips for Healthy Living-Ten in Number

Simple Health Tips for Healthy Living

Ten in Number

A Foods

1. Tea as a beverage

2. Tumeric in (as curry ingredient) food

3. Pumpkin as a food accomplishment

4. Garlic as soul creator

5. Soursop as an invigorator

All the above have antioxidants and many other helpful ingredients, antioxidants including powerful anticancer agents.

This I have selected out of 30 useful fruits and vegetables.

There are lot in my book to mix and match.

B. Avoid at all costs

1. Alcohol

2. Smoking

3. Avoid Rice and refined Wheat Flour bread and cookies

Better still avoid sex and sexual conflicts (read the comments on meditation below)

C. Medicines

1. Low dose aspirin

2. Anti-hypertensive treatment

Note;

I have have excluded meditation by default for two reasons.

One can increase the endogenous encephalin by taking dark chocolates which has over 300 micro-ingredients that elevate one's mood at any time.

To derive complete benefit by meditation one has to avoid sexual and other physical stimulation completely before meditation to induce successful endogenous encephalin pathway.

The new vogue name neuro-plasticity has no meaning, since nobody knows how these pathways work during wakeful hours and sleep, let alone during meditation.

That is also after many hours of struggle to get into the mood of meditation.

Becoming an ascetic, in this fast moving world is completely impossible.

Piece of chocolate is an easy substitute.

Metta Meditation, in my belief, is the easiest form of meditation which derives (read Karaniya Metta Sutta) benefits within 6 weeks.

One can try to become a vegetarian on that account alone and that has dual benefit (animal on one side and the doer of Metta mediation, on the other side).

One need not have a religion to practice all of the above 10 productive actions.

Now that I am finishing my book on Vegetarian Paradox this is a tiny reflection of my life, part of this piece is included in the final chapter.

To gather rest you have to read the book.

Vegetarian Paradox

Vegetarian Paradox

I wanted to write piece on antioxidants since I almost completed the survey on current Linux distributions and this site is dedicated to Linux.

Unfortunately visitor index to Linux has fallen down.

My only interest is to bring the Linux Desktop users up to 10%.

That is 1 out of 10 has some exposure to Linux.

When I started nearly 23 years ago the number of desktop users in Ceylon was 32 or 34.

It has not gone up significantly and with the economic downturn in Ceylon this is the ideal time to invest on Linux, at least to cut down on expenses.

I will leave it that and I will not invest further interest until 2025 when the next Debian Edition is due.

Linux especially Debian very is very stable currently and is on FREEZE MODE until 2025.

Going back to antioxidants, I ended up writing a book of 200 pages with a Title "Vegetarian Paradox".

In one chapter I had 30 (I stopped at 30) fruits and vegetable we have in Ceylon that have medicinal values far beyond a Western medical tablet.

The problem is these fruits and vegetables are seasonal and there is no proper management system to help the growers. Often there is no coordination and vegetables are thrown to animals to eat due to low prices and production in excess of the demand.

Additionally some fruits like mangoes are grown as export industry and killing many other varieties of lovely but small local varieties.

I am in Australia they have very good program to grow tropical fruits including mangoes and bananas.

Instead of exporting them we have to make the local people eat them to sustain the industry.

In my list of 30 Apples and Kiwi fruits are not included and I have not tasted a single apple or pear or kiwi.

I am happy with mangoes, bananas and avocados.

The fruit that I really promote is Pumpkins which has real medicinal value.

One pumpkin a day is better than few apples and Kiwi fruits.

By the way, Kiwi fruit is a Chines fruit brought in during "Gold Rush' which has limited nutritional value.

Parrot OS - 6.0 is NOT Superb

Parrot OS - 6.0 is NOT Superb

I just downloaded Parrot OS-6 and installed it on a USB stick.

Mind you I had Parrot OS 5.1 on this USB stick but the difference is it  that I can mount it but installation of additional applications is impossible in a Live Session on the Stick and you are stuck with the facilities available in the stick.

I downloaded AbiWord and installed it in a flash.

This is the first time I have done it.

Thanks to guys and girls of developing Parrot OS.

This assertion is incorrect.

It can be used in a Live session but cannot save a word file.

I rebooted with the same USB and Abiword was not there even though it has taken total 32GB of space in my USB.

My logic is if they have taken 32GB of my USB for a 5GB Iso, what happens to the 27GB of Real State of working space.

At least they should taken the Real State for the Distribution and leave the rest to be formatted as NTFS or Ext4 partition.

This is why I love Linux MultiSystem USB where one can test several distributions (Ubuntu based only) but no saving of DATA.

Most of the distributions do not support MultiSystem Utility.

Wireless Connection was instant.

I could log in with my Google Blog Spot and post this.

I am going to try whether I can log in with my yahoo mail.

Yes Yahoo Mail does not let me log in.

I can understand their concern.

I have already logged in with Yahoo Mail using Debian Linux from this NUC.

I have three distributions installed in the same NUC and I can use only one distributions to log in with yahoo.

But if I have 10 cellphones, I can log in with all ten of them.

Logic is probably security.

But if the password is correct and there is confirming cellphone number that can be geo-located this should not be a problem.

I have to use Parrot OS and gmail for my activity when I travel abroad.
