Paper Mafia of the Government Office

This in remembrance of my friend Mana Wadu who succumbed most likely to Coronavirus.

I used to study each piece of Government Legislation which may have had some relevance to my working life and I make a note of the unfriendly insinuation.

In other words loss Public Trust.

Digitalization is not the solution.

Can one obtain a divorce or legal custody of a child.

No.

I have studied the Laws and Bylaws related to Divorce and Custody.

I can give a better advice than a lawyer.

My approach is to make it easier but with binding penalties.

It has many varieties.

There is lot of paper work for divorce.

Leave alone that painful ordeal divorce for children involved in such a case there many Government Papers related to other laws.

1. Number one is obtaining the pension after the death of the husband.

My mother had to wait for 8 years to get her pension. On closer examination, I found it was one my paternal uncle who was holding the payment.

He was expecting a bribe from my mother.

She may have already given some money to him which she did not tell me.

I was in UK and told her I would sort it out when I am on holiday.

I did it within 10 days.

Then Director of Pensions Mr.  Anil Abeysinghe did it with one stroke of his pen. 

I did not tell him about my uncle but got him transferred from his post in Kandy, Secretariat. He was later involved in swindling money from Maligawa, until the present incumbent Diyawadana Nilame, the masted fraudster of all time took office.

I will list some of other Paperwork that one has to bribe to get a proper copy.

I had to wait for 12 years.

By the way, the easiest is to get a sworn affidavit, which I have many.

My father had made many mistakes in my birth certificate.

I finally got it corrected at the age of 55.
