Installing Debian, One should use Calamara Installer

This is for New Debian users.

1. Do not use old method of installing.

2. One should use Live USB or DVD.

3. One cannot install additional software and the system is frozen with what is available in the USB/DVD.

4. I had Debian 12.4.0 Gnome installed in my Intel N.U.C.

5. I decided to install 12.5.0 Gnome Image. The reason being warning of not enough space in my system with large number of ISO Images stored.

6. I tried to install AbiWord my favorite Word Processor using Ubuntu Synaptic.

I could not.

7. Tried SNAP but failed.

8. I downloaded both Cinnamon and Gnome images live images.

9. They have Calamara installer instead of the old text based and video installer.

10. Apart from /root /home and other partitions Calamara Installer needs boot/efi partition and swap partitions.

11. It takes a long time to Install and I hope I got everything right.

12. By the way, Ubuntu 24.04 has a new Installer which is not Calamara but easy to configure. Smooth sailing with Ubuntu. I have 3 distribution and the other one is ArcoLinux, which is Arch based.
